Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

He cleaned an inside line connecting to the sewer, he cleaned it three times. It is working better than ever. He was wonderful and so polite. I was a very happy with service.

Unfortunately, provider notified that we were out of service area, so had to cancel. He was very punctual and polite.

They completed a total inspection of thermostat, downstairs central air system, and outside air conditioner. They were here about 45 minutes and gave me a written description of items that might need taken care of in the near future. He thoroughly explained each item and included the approximate cost of each one. I am on the Service Plus Club yearly plan therefore there was no cost since the yearly inspections are part of the contract.

Overall, I wasn?t happy with them. As soon as they came out to do the work, they would push pretty hard to upsell other products and packages. I want someone more honest, local, and more concerned with solving the problem (vs. just making the sale). We went with someone else for the work and we?re not inclined to use them again. The integrity of their work is in question, too, because the company that ultimately fixed our problem said that Service Plus didn?t need to install the additional item on our sump pump. I don?t trust them and I can?t recommend them.

I thought it was the pilot light that went out, and I wanted them to fix it. But I got it working on my own, so I don't need the deal.

The job went really well and they were very efficient. They were really nice and professional to work with. They did very little damage to the yard which was great. They cleared the line and assured me it was clear because they were able to run a camera through the line.

He found 2 things wrong; each seemed like a simple fix to me, but he quotes me from their book $450 each plus a service call of $89 for a total of right around $1000. I told him it was too much and can he do it by time and materials instead of their book price, he said he cant. This wasn't the technicians fault, his hands were tied by company policy. He was on-time, professional, and figured out the issue quickly. However, I just paid him for the service call and told him I would get someone else to fix it. I called Easy Air heating and air conditioning, Inc at 317.842.3600 and they fixed both problems same day for $234 total. Instead of paying $1000 with Service plus, I paid only $234 with Easy Air. It has worked great ever since. They get an F from me. Although the technician was on-time, professional, and figured out the issue quickly, the price to fix it makes this review a serious thumbs down!!!

The company’s customer service was fine, but the guy who came out made an inappropriate comment while he was here. I would not have them come back.

They did a great job. They were here on time and did the job fast. Unfortunately they charge more than most of the smaller places. I will probably call someone else next time I need plumbing simply because their prices are too high.

No service was performed. Technician opened up clean-out & said drain was running smooth. He did not run a camera through it, did not run a cutter through it.... didn't do anything. Two months later on 7-15-14, drain is backing up into shower, I am out $49, and must get another company out to clear the drain. I have used Service Plus before, and even reccommended them to friends, but I am not happy with this situation.

The technician called ahead, arrived on time, and did a thorough job of checking my cooling system. He fully answered any questions I had and was very personable. Good experience.

Bought a daily deal for drain cleaning. It did not apply to my situation. Had problems scheduling the appointment. The tech was looked at the problem and couldn't figure it out. A supervisor was supposed to follow-up but didn't.

We had to call numerous times to get them to bring more dirt (part of the contract) which they did -- but not enough. The contract specified dirt to be mounded so it could settle sufficiently before the sidewalk was repoured. We called the project mgr, Ronnie, every month, maybe every 3 wks. No response. Finally, in july, I called their customer service dept and told them I was giving them one last chance before I told angie. They got the new dirt within a week. I promised I would go out that day to look but I was a day delayed and WHOA~! They were pouring the CONCRETE the day after the dirt was delivered. It had NO TIME to settle. This will eventually result in cracked, broken sidewalk. Really: 1 day between the time we got enough dirt and the concrete. This is a $40-45,000 rental and it cost $13,000 for the new sewer because they had to cut into the concrete sidewalk and street, which we had to replace. I called the company the day following the concrete pour and have not heard from them since. This is absolutely, positively the worst possible job and service I have had. | |

Service provider very promptly returned message regarding water heater that had failed. Was professional and courteous and agreed to meet first thing in the morning, even though it was already past 6pm. Did not use as going to attempt to self-install with a friend tonight.

They were prompt, friendly, and there was a noticeable difference with the quality of our ventilation after the service was performed.

Punctual and did a good job overall.

There was no effort to clear the sewer drain. I believe that at very least an effort to clean the drain should have been made to justify the $ 79.00 fee.

They were prompt to get back with you! They were professional and courteous. They were just unable to do the work I needed to have done. They came out and said the would not clean out the access through what we had already. They said they could add another access outside on to the pipe. They gave us an estimate for work they could do, but for much more!

Our air conditioner line froze and had ice chunks bursting out of the foam insulating cover. Another company that we have been pleased with came and did not manage to solve our problem. The line refroze. They could not make a return visit for 4 days and we had house guests, so we called Service Plus. They came the same day. The service man was pleasant and informative to deal with. Most importantly he was able to find the problem. On an earlier routine maintenance visit, the other company had reduced the fan speed by altering the setting in the computerized controls. This caused the line to freeze as not enough air was coming across. (Sorry I am not good on technical details) The problem has not returned. We were very pleased in every way with Service Plus. Also their service contract for routine yearly equipment checks seems to cost much less than that of our former company, so we will be trying that as well.

It ended up fine and they did what I hired them to do. They got the job done in about 30-45 minutes. The scheduling was easy and they showed up on time. We had no issues.

My AC stopped working and I called Service Plus. They had been out about 45 days earlier to do a clean and check on my system. I signed a service contract at that appointment. At this appointment, the technician determined my AC had overheated and melted some wires. After replacing the wires and cleaning the coils that must not have been cleaned at the previous appointment, it still was not working. He determined it was a faulty condenser. He thought this part was under warranty from the manufacturer since my unit is only three years old. He did not charge me for fixing the wires. The next day, the Service Plus confirmed it was under warranty and I would only be charged the labor fee -approximately $1400! They said it would take about 4 hours. I thought this was ridiculous, so I called another company. That other company figured out that the Service Plus guy had switched the wires. Nothing was wrong with the condenser! The fix was only $84--- not $1400! My AC has been working great ever since. Obviously, I will not be calling Service Plus again.

The technician, Dave, arrived at the scheduled time and was dressed professionally. He performed an inspection of our AC system and furnace to diagnose the problem. His diagnosis was the AC was just old (which it is--about 24 years old) and needed to be replaced. He had no explanation for why it wasn't working as well this year compared with last year. He increased the fan speed on our furnace which he also commented was old (it is from 2002) and recommended being replaced at the same time as the AC. He stated there was an opening the next day for this to be done. He also said there was a lot of debris from the air getting caught up in the air conditioner which could slow its effectiveness and recommended their maintenance plan to help periodically clean this out. Something didn't feel right about his recommendations, plus the problem was still not resolved, and a week later we called another company to come evaluate our AC. The other company stated right away the freon was low and replaced that. He also took the time to clean the external portion of the AC of the debris from the air (instead of simply pointing it out and recommending paying for a cleaning plan). He seemed to think our AC would work wonderfully going forward which it has. He said he would not replace the unit at this time. I will never use Service Plus again because of this interaction. The distrust that I felt at the time of the visit was confirmed by our second opinion.

It went well. We received both immediate and long term recommendations for our heating and cooling systems. We also agreed to a service contract.
