SELECT SEWING SERVICE

I remembered to utilize Angie's List and called for additional repair options. I called a referral from Angie's List and they were able to fix my machine for $37! I am really happy that I called Angie's List before deciding to scrap my machine!

I told him I could get a new machine for what it was going to cost for the repair. He told me anytime they open a machine they have to clean it, even though I clean it regularly. I told him I had another machine to use. They are very nice people. They upgraded the place nicely.

Ralph Pennington helped me by answering directly when I asked if my current machine was junk (yes). I did not feel like he was selling me by giving me information about my machine that helped me decide that I needed a new one instead of putting another $100 service into it. I asked him to show me the new machines. He started with an introductory level machine, and only showed me the better models when I expressed interest in seeing them. Again, I really appreciated that I wasn't being pressured to buy. He was very helpful in demonstrating and letting me try the machines. I have since used the new sewing machine for a project. It is terrific. I'm really happy I didn't get my old one worked on (again).

They are wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable people.

I need my machine for work so they did everything possible to make sure I had it back as quickly as possible. The work was well done and they kept in contact with me.

He was very informative, and told me that my machine was old enough that the work he would need to do would cost more than it was worth. I appreciated his honesty.

THE BELTS ON MY OLD NECCHI SEWING MACHINE WERE SLIPPING AND THE MACHINE WASN'T RUNNING. I CALLED SELECT SEWING SERVICE TO SEE IF THEY CARRIED THE BELTS; JIM SAID TO BRING THE MACHINE IN AND THEY COULD MATCH THE BELTS. I TOOK IN MY MACHINE. JIM REMEMBERED ME FROM MY CALL. HE OPENED UP THE MACHINE AND MADE THE NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS WITHOUT REPLACING THE BELTS. HE WAS POLITE AND PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. HE DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THIS SERVICE, BUT HE DID SHOW ME A NEW PHAFF THAT IS ON SALE...HMMM...

GREAT COMMUNICATION, AND FOLLOW-THROUGH ON SERVICE.

THE SALES PERSON MADE SURE I KNEW HOW TO ATTACH IT CORRECTLY TO MY MACHINE BEFORE I LEFT THE STORE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE BEEN TO THE STORE, AND BOTH TIMES THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL.

I USED A COUPON FROM THE YELLOW PAGES. I THOUGHT THE SERVICE WAS KIND OF PRICEY BUT MY SEWING MACHINE IS OLD AND I WAS CONFIDENT THEY WOULD DO A GOOD JOB.

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT-COMPLETED IN ONE WEEK.

THEY ARE NOT REAL CORDIAL ON THE PHONE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY LATE WITH THE REPAIR. I DID LET THEM KNOW I WASNT IN A BIG HURRY, BUT WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT BY A CERTAIN DAY.

I NEEDED IT QUICKER THAN THE NORMAL. IM TAKING A SEWING CLASS AND IT IS STARTING SOON. THEY ACCOMMODATED MY NEEDS AND WHEN PICKING IT UP THEY CARRIED IT TO THE CAR FOR ME!

THE PEOPLE THAT TOOK CARE OF MY MACHINE WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS AND EDUCATING ME ON RELATED MATTERS. THEY ARE QUITE BACKED UP ON REPAIR WORK THAT REQUIRES SOME TIME ANDOR DIAGNOSIS, BUT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY.

SERVICE WAS TIMELY AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB

THEY DID A GOOD JOB, AND IT TOOK ABOUT TWO WEEKS LONGER THAN THEY SAID. (THE ESTIMATE WAS 4-5 WEEKS).

I TOOK MY SEWING MACHINE IN FOR A JAM PROBLEM. HE REPAIRED IT ON THE SPOT AND DID NOT CHARGE ME DUE TO HOW SIMPLE IT WAS. AND HE WOULD NOT EVEN TAKE A TIP!!

PURCHASED SERGER FOR X-MAS PRESENT AND WAS TOLD IT COULD BE RETURNED. WHEN DAUGHTER TRIED TO RETURN, COULDN'T GET REFUND. NIA LETTER SENT 4/6/99, CO. RESPONDED 4/9/9; WILLING TO REFUND.
