They have worked with me over the last few months to make sure i am pleased. My experience with them started off rocky but has improved. When calling them over the last month i am able to get a reply back within the day.

"We feel that this is a unfair report. The time frame in question was the three weeks of rain. We checked the yard each week. It's hard to mow when there is a inch of standing water. When it did dry out we mowed the yard three time and removed any clipping at no charge. We do apologize for any incontinence this may of cased."

Scott's 3-man crew arrived while I was away from home and went right to work. I got back after they'd been working about an hour and could already see a big difference. The guys were very polite and worked non-stop. Scott stopped by about half-way through the job to see how things were going - he's very personable and accommodating - very easy to work with. My job was to stay out of the way and let the guys work their magic, which they did. I would highly recommend Scott and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

The project was clearing a small area of woods (30'x30') in my backyard and then putting in a fence. I had lined up a fence contractor who was going to install in 4-5 weeks. So, I needed help clearing, stumping, building grade, sodding, etc. in a one month time frame. Scott came out quickly to quote on the job and I really liked him and wanted to work with him because he was knowledgable (degreed) and from the same area of town. The problem was his lack of response. I did not get an estimate for almost a week. And he knew I was in a hurry to get the project completed. Each time I tried to communicate with him via email through Angie's List or phone call it took at least 2 days or more for him to respond. I finally left a message that I was going to work with another company. He then called very quickly indicating that I was not being fair. Simply, Scott was not responsive and I was in a hurry. If he could not work within my time frame he should have told me rather than hold up my project waiting for his responses. As the project progressed I even emailed him again (through Angie's List) asking to try one more time to work of this project together. He never returned my message. Bad business model.

"After nineteen years of experience in landscaping your able to read people you just do not want to work for. This member is one of those costumers. Our company gave a estimate to this member for some clean up, grading and sod. After a week she informed me she had competed some of the work herself. The member requested another estimate. So our company revamped the original estimate. The member contacted me with some questions on pricing and the scope of work. At this point I had the feeling that no matter what work we could do for the member she would never be satisfied. Our company informed her of this and suggested she find someone else. As you can see from the report she left for our company she did not like to hear that. Our company strives for perfection and costumer satisfaction. As you can see from the other reports we have received this member is not someone you would want to work for. Thank you, Scott Schilling Schilling Lawn and Landscaping"

They did exterior painting. They were very efficient and reasonable. They showed up on time. The owner, Scott Schilling, was very personable and easy to talk to. He supervised the workers. I was very pleased with them. They beat the other estimates that I had received. I have referred them to others. I will use them again in the spring.
