Carpet Installation
WE HAD USED HIM IN THE PAST FOR A VERY LARGE CARPET INSTALLATION JOB AND WE WERE QUITE PLEASED. THIS JOB HAS A LOT OF DUST AND DEBRIS INVOLVED AND IT TAKES A LOT OF EFFORT. OTHER UN-INSTALLERS WERE TALKING ABOUT HOW HARD IT WAS TO GET UP AND IT MIGHT NOT LOOK GOOD. THEY MENTIONED THEY COULD COME BACK AND TRY TO FIX IT. RON SHAFFNER DID NOT SAY THIS. HE CLEANED IT SPOTLESS. HIS DEMEANOR IS ONE THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO GIVE HIM WORK. HE WAS QUITE NOTICEABLY LESS EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER COMPANIES. WE RECEIVED ESTIMATES CLOSE TO $500. HE BROUGHT A HELPER AND SUPERVISED HER QUITE CLOSELY. THE PRICE ALSO INCLUDES A STAIRWAY THAT WAS CARPETED. HE TOOK THE EXTRA STEP OF SANDING THE WOOD SO THAT IT WAS NOT SLIPPERY. WE FELT HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO DO THIS, BECAUSE WE WERE NOT EXPECTING IT.
