Roby's Plumbing

Plumber was very polite and efficient. I do feel the charge was very high for the work done. The part replaced was an item that probably would have cost no more than $10 and the plumber was at my home less than an hour.

They were extremely responsive, punctual, and right on with their estimate. Everyone we worked with at Roby's was very courteous and professional, and explained the process along the way.

They were very prompt, responsive. I didn't even know what the problem was. He had to get up in the hard to reach crawlspace, diagnose the issue and fix it.

The tech was very fast and efficient. Explained what he was doing and actually resolved the hot water issue by turning the hot/cold water indicator on the bathtub for free. We were also given a fair price on the estimate that we will have done at a later time.

Identified the noise as coming from valve, but because of the age of the sump pump he recommended replacement.

They were very good to work with, professional, completed the work quicker than they said they were going to, and were very good to work with.

They came right out after I called them. I had to go with them because of the problem that I had. They showed me what the prices would be before they started the job but I felt that their prices were very high. It only took them 15 minutes to complete the work and so I felt their prices were pretty exorbitant.

The only negative thing I have to say is they told me they would come between 2 and 3, but 3 came and they still hadn't come or called, so I had to call them. Apart from that they did an excellent job. They gave me a $20 discount for being an Angie's List member and they fixed the faucet in my kitchen for free! I had hot water 50 minutes after they left! The price was extremely reasonable. They sent me a note, a survey asking about my satisfaction and a $10 coupon for next time!

Saturday morning and no water we were anxious to have water restored. I called a list of plumbers on Saturday. Roby's called and said it sounded like the controller not the well that another service provider came out and said. Roby's told me over the phone to go to the hardware store and what to get to repair it over the phone and didn't charge me.

I was amazed at the cost. The gentleman looked at the problems and quickly gave us two options repair or replace. We chose repair, the work was completed. The area was left clean and the toilet working fine.

The day before we had a plumber from another company come to our house for the same problem, but we ended up declining their service because the price seemed too high (perhaps the other company's estimate was based on starting from our kitchen sink, and not from the access point (somewhat hard to see behind some heating ductwork on which we had stored some material, right before the drain line goes into a concrete slab) that the Roby's plumber discovered?). We were pleased with the Roby's plumber work, and we were pleased with the price, which ended up being about $100 less than the other company had estimated (and we were able to use a $20 coupon from the Angie's List magazine).

Went well. They showed up when they said they would. It took as long as they said it would and it cost what they said it would. They were pretty clean as well. They price by the job, not the hour, so you know up front what it will cost. The cost was higher than I hoped, but I always find that when I call a plumber and the labor cost was less than what other companies charge. They were not very upfront about the various water heater options when I called on the phone, I had to ask about the various options myself. I recommend researching water heaters yourself before calling the company. Also, the web page says they sell A.O. Smith water heaters, but they actually sell Rheem now. The only down note from the installers was our kids wanted to watch them and one of the workers said to go away.

Plumber from Roby was polite and punctual. There were two problems with leaks which they had to be called back two separate times. Roby came back both times very punctually, but felt there should not have been 2 call-backs for a simple sump pump replacement.

They were courteous. Very prompt. I called them in the morning and they initially told me 10am-noon, but then they called back and said they had someone that could come by sooner (9am). Plumber was very good at his job and knew what he was doing.

During the evening our water heater decided not to work, so I called Roby's the following morning and they were able to arrive by early afternoon which was very much appreciated. The gentleman replaced the component. He was very good and helpful.

Was promised and received same day service. Was told when to expect plumber. He called ahead and arrived as scheduled. Introduced himself (Dave). Asked me what the problem was. Told me there would be a diagnostic fee of $89, to which I agreed, but which he later said he would not charge. He made recommendations and set to work, appearing very competent and experienced. I stayed to watch and Dave entertained me with conversation. He completed the work, cleaned up, accepted my Angie's List coupon and left. The total bill was less than another plumber had quoted for just the pressure regulator and expansion tank installation. The work solved my problems of a leaking relief valve and the high, damaging pressure that is common in Fishers.

I called Wednesday after hours and asked them to call me first thing on Thursday. I received a call right at 8:00AM on Thursday morning and they said they could come out the same day. I scheduled the appointment for 8:30 the next day (Friday). I received a call at 8:00AM Friday from the service rep indicating he would be here at 8:30 and he arrived on time. He reviewed the problem and gave me some options. Since I live in an old house, there were some risks involved in snaking but I decided to try. The service man cleared both drains with out any damage to the old pipes. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. I have used them before (through Angie's List) and they did such a good job before I didn't think twice about using them again. The told me the price up front and that was the price at the end.

They sent a repairman within one hour on a Friday evening; he did the repair quickly and thoroughly, was pleasant and the price was reasonable.

I was having the basement waterproofed and needed my water heater, softener, and filter temporarily moved away from the walls. The tech disconnected all 3 and moved them out of the way. He came and moved them back when I called saying it was okay. My water heater was old so I had them replace it at the same time.

Roby's is a great, great outfit! They are very efficient. We will continue to use them.

I noticed an ice column from my outside hose bibb to the ground. I open the valve and fortunately it had not frozen shut. When I attempted to close the valve, I could not get the flow completely shut off. I attempted to disassemble the unit myself but was not able to break the nut free. Since the temperature was going to drop well into single digits that night, I knew I needed help and soon. I found Roby's at the Angie's List website and realized they were not far from the house. I called them and they responded within the hour. The repair went smoothly. Rick Buck, the technician, was helpful with the many questions I had.

They were prompt, polite and did a good job.

I had a problem with one of the toilets they fixed. They didn't reinstall the toilets properly. I contacted them a few months later when I noticed the problem to see if they'd fix it. I asked for a new guy to come back out and they said they had to send the same person. The guy then asked me why I waited so long. At that point, I said I don't want to do business with them.

They are very good. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
