Overall they were courteous and cleaned up. They took the time to find the problem. I would absolutely hire them again.

I called first thing in the morning. They told me they could have someone there later in the morning which was great. It was a pleasant surprise when the serviceman called me about a half hour later and said he could be on his way right then. He was very professional and courteous, asked some questions, then proceeded to clear the drain. He told me he pulled out lots of lint. It's been draining fine since then.

My water heater had stopped working and was leaking all over. I contacted Roby's around 10am and asked if someone could at least come out and look at the unit today. They were flexible enough to send someone out at the time I requested (3:30pm), so I wouldn't miss too much of my work day. Dave C. showed up on time and was great from intro to finish. Upon inspection, Dave thought my heater was still under warranty; but after he placed a call, he was told it wasn't. After talking it over for a few moments, he decided to recheck the serial number and make another call. Turns out, it was still under warranty through the end of this month! Dave saved me some major bucks by taking those few extra minutes to double check. He provided an estimate and then contacted a supplier and set up delivery of my new water heater. It was delivered, my old one hauled away, new one installed, water valve repaired and everything finished within 2 hours. And I was only expecting an estimate today :)

Our sprayer had developed a leak in the hose, and we tried to replace it. Unfortunately, this didn't work, but since the sprayer is separate from the faucet, we couldn't use the sink at all because water went everywhere since there was no hose attached. Kevin came out the morning that we called, replaced the entire faucet system and sprayer. We asked him about a problem we were having with a toilet, he explained what was wrong, and replaced the mechanism before he left. He was professional and explained everything. We later realized we had a problem with the hose and they offered to come out the same day that we called, to fix the problem. I will definitely call them if we ever need that type of service again.

Water heater leaking and needed to be replaced. Arrived on time. Assessed the situation and replaced the old water heater with a new. Took less than half a day. Cleaned up after. They did good work and I would use again.

The plumber arrived on time and gave me the estimate. Approx 645.00 for the contols and faucet, another 415.00 for the drain replacement plus a fee to cut into the wall for access. It took around 3-4 hrs. The work was well done and there was no mess left.I was concerned about the price. It seemed high, but I had read the comments by Angie's members and decided to go ahead. It works great and looks much better.

He was very friendly and explained to my husband what he was doing and why. When he realized that the first water heater venting was not even to our ceiling, he explained why this was important to us and what he was doing to correct. My husband joked that our mudroom was cleaner after he left than before! We received a thank you card from the company about a week later. They did a great job. We will be needing some additional plumbing services in the near future and will call them again.

They have excellent service and the price was very reasonable. The price listed also included an installation of a piece of flexible hose that runs from the main line to the faucet in the kitchen.

Without asking me he replaced my toilet with a smaller and lower pressure one. I told him it was smaller and he laughed at me. He told me that it was the way things are going to be. I will never use him again. It was upsetting to me. His prices are high as well.

We were very pleased with the service Rob did. He completed the job is a couple of hours. He cleaned up the mess perfectly. We knew what to expect and the cost was less than quoted.

Rick came out, replaced the outside faucet and line which had ruptured. The next day, I noticed the line was leaking in the basement. I called back, Rick returned and fixed the line.

The Angie's List reviews were very helpful. I found a lot of help by asking for the brand of water heater for each quote I got, and then checking out the websites prior to making a decision.

They are a little expensive, but the work quality is excellent. They are timely and very professional.

Dave cheerfully worked all day New Years Eve. He looked at everything I needed done, went to his truck, completed a detailed estimate and then walked me though it. A colleague of his delivered the equipment that he needed to install. It was a long day and it was a holiday.

Quote was $129, used $15 dollar coupon.

Roby's is prompt and cooperative in trying to get the call scheduled. If it's an emergency, they try to get to you as quickly as possible, although we've only had that happen one time. It just so happened Dave was our service tech that day and he did a great job. Sometimes we think the price might be high, but on the other hand we've not had experience with any other companies for several years. We always call Roby's-so we can't compare. They may be more reasonable than others-and in many cases, you get what you pay for. We've not had to have Dave come back to work on something he did the first time.

Able to schedule replacement very quickly, could have come out that same day if needed. Answered all my questions about water heaters and upgraded to dual anode for fixed price. Also accommodated my morning schedule. Total price for installation and hauling away old heater was VERY competitive with price of purchasing like model at hardward store, paying "handyman" for installation and disposal of water heater. Labor costs were only about $400, well worth it! Rick the service technician did a great job, straightened out vent installed by original contractor. Done in under 2 hours!

They were so nice and came out right away. They did not have the battery I needed for my system, so unfortunately they could not help me. They did not even charge for the service call.

It went very quickly and trouble free.
