They were very quick, efficient, and inexpensive. They did everything I wanted.

My water heater started leading over the weekend. I called Roby's Monday morning and spoke with Brad. He told me the replacement cost over the phone ($640, less $20 for the Angie's List coupon) and said they could get someone there by late morning. I also asked him to have the guy check a drain while he was here. Less than half an hour later, they called to say the man was on the way. Rob arrived about 9:30 and set about draining the water heater and removing it. To get to it, he had to remove a bi-fold door and my clothes dryer. While the heater was draining, I asked him to check the drain in the garage that seemed to run slow. He found it was clogged and snaked it out so the water could drain properly. The charge for that would have been $95, but he gave me $10 off because it wasn't as bad as he thought it was. The total bill for everything came to $705. It took him approx 2 1/2 hours to complete the project, but he was very neat and careful about covering my flooring while draining the heater and removing it from thouse. I think the price of the water heater was right on, but snaking the drain seemed a little high. But I was very pleased with the way Rob did the job and in his manner as well.

They did a good job and they guy knew what he was doing. We chose them because they are well-rated and they were prompt when they came to give us an estimate.

The plumber showed up within the hour, was polite and professional. Also, he wore paper shoe covers to prevent tracking dirt around the house. I was a taken aback by the price, $290, for such a simple repair. He did explain that is was their 'standard' cost. He also applied $20 off for Angie's list members.

I called and within 30minutes they came out, brought in a new water heater, and within a 2 hour installation time, it was done and working well. They were quick in the response time and did an excellent job

Kevin arrived on time and was very professional. He discovered the drain for the washing machine was clogged which turned his visit into an all day stay, but he worked through lunch and got it all completed. He cleaned up after himself and did a great job. We had just purchased house and he pointed out to me that the bypass valves on the water softner were closed. We now have soft water.

We have used them for various things. Their prices are good and they are professional. They are very dependable. We've used them for over 15 years.

He did not charge us anything. It did not take him more than a minute to fix it. It was really nice of him to come out here and not charge anything for it. He was wonderful. We don?t have complaints about him.

Dave diagnosed the problem but unfortunately the needed repair was outside of Roby's line of work. Dave provided a recommendation of a company to do the work.

They did the job well and I have no complaints. I did not call any other plumbers so I cannot compare the price.

They recently replaced a major faucet and a shower. They are punctual, seem reasonable in price and do a great job.

The plumbing company is always on time. They are clean and respectful. I have been satisfied with them every time they have come. They charge by the hour and the prices are fixed for each call. I can't compare their price as I haven't had anybody else.

They are very reliable and very responsive. They also seem very personable and safe. After we called, they called the same morning and came out to do the work for us.

I like Roby?s Plumbing because they give you the price upfront. I?ve had better luck with the quality of their work. They are polite and they are on time. If there is a problem, they?ll tell you. They?ll also tell you they are going to charge you extra for something. They come in with a big book, which has all kind of information and prices. There are no surprises at the end when it comes to price. I?ve tried other plumbers before, but they weren?t as good as Roby?s Plumbing. I will continue using them.

We have used them for nine years and we really like them. They are honest. They have not charged us when it was something simple. They don't gouge you and will let you know if the work needs to be done. We have had really good experiences with them.

I needed the inside mechanism of the toilet replaced as I had broken the water ball arm (my term) while attempting an adjustment. I was going to do the repair myself but found I could not turn off the water either at the toilet or at the main water control in the utility room (both turn-off valves were frozen). I even called a knowledgeable friend to help, but when he couldn't budge either valve, I decided to call a professional rather than risk breaking a valve off resulting in a big mess! The service tech Kevin Hawkins responded at the appointed time, looked over the situation, indicated the replacement part I had purchased would not work well, and showed me what would need to be done. I authorized him to go ahead with full repairs which he did promptly and efficiently, replacing the entire flushing mechanism and the shut off valve. He inspected the main water valve and indicated it should also be replaced but we agreed that it would wait until such time as I had to replace the water heater. In case I need to shut off the water, he showed me how to do so at the main in the yard. I also consulted him on two other pieces: a tankless water heater and a valve to control the shower. He offered me advice without any pressure to make a commitment with him. I appreciated that.

Kevin was great. This was their first visit and they did a good job. The cost would have only been $59 but we had him come after hours on a Sunday morning.

Dave, with Roby's, arrived on time and studied the situation with the 'dead' pipes; he then got to work as soon as he felt he understood the situation (that the pipes indeed were no longer active and in use). The removal of some piping in our garage caused a small problem with the garage door opener (not Roby's fault) which Dave corrected before leaving. It was an odd situation which was handled well by Roby's; they were on time, professional and were patient with our nosy dogs.

Came out on a Saturday, within a few hours. Satisfied with their work.

He was very good in every way. His professionalism, price and promptness were excellent.

I want to highly recommend Roby?s Plumbing based upon the recent job that they did installing a replacement water line into our house. Roby?s was able to do the job using the less-invasive, underground-boring method. When I first was searching estimates for the job, I was not aware that this process (which allows you NOT to dig up and destroy much of your yard) was even possible to use for my job. I thought that the presence of a large tree and its roots near our water meter where our water-line leak was present would eliminate any chance of using this method. Matt, the supervisor who was assigned to our job, provided an estimate which was almost $800 lower than the usual dig-the-entire-trench method; and the entire job was completed in about three hours. The only conventional digging that was done was a hole that is about a 2 ft. by 5 ft. area next to our water meter. (This amount of digging was required by the city.) We had an additional problem that Matt took care of as part of the job. We discovered the leak just before we were supposed to leave on vacation. Matt offered to come out and turn off our house water at the meter on the day we were to leave (instead of us arranging for the city to do it). This extra effort helped us because in searching our records, we learned that the turn-off valve was at least 50 years old and had never been replaced. Matt said that they Roby?s would do it since the city said that the valve could be sensitive to turning and could even break more as a result of trying to turn it off. So, on time that day as he said he would be (We had to catch a plane.), Matt came, fished around in our pond that had formed with the street T, and turned off the water. Nothing broke, we were good to go, and on the day after we returned from our vacation late, Roby?s completed the job so that we had water that very next afternoon. During this time Matt was courteous, on time, and very informative. We had many questions about the job, and he addressed them professionally and in the detail that we wanted. One more thing: I was still able to give Roby?s the $20-off coupon for this job (which was supposed to be given at the job?s completion) 3 weeks later.

He was very professional and arrived promptly. He was able to replace the pumps. Because it was an emergency, I was in a bind as to the model and price of the unit. But I feel that if I have a problem I will be able to call Roby to make it right. I have used them since 2001.
