Took care of the kitchen sink clogged drain. Next day we realized that the utility sink drains in the basement were also clogged. Came back and cleared basement drain that afternoon at no additional charge. Good company - we'll use them again if necessary.

Service was fantastic. This is the second time we have used Roby's for drain cleaning if different areas of our house. The servicemen are always incredibly professional and arrive during the time we were told they would arrive.

Despite the snow and hazardous roads, Roby's Anderson division arrived on time with two trucks and two men. They assessed the situation and located the outside access to the drain pipe (which we didn't know existed), even though they had to move some snow to find it. The men cleaned out the line from the house into the yard. It took about 1.5 hours. The guys were competent and very professional. The fee was most reasonable. Thank you, Roby's Plumbing!

I took off work early to get home by 3:00 in case they called early. A little after 4:00 when I hadn't heard from them I called to verify they had me on the schedule. The person I spoke with could find no record of me in the system and told me they had no one scheduled to come out. I told him if they could get someone out today then give me a call otherwise I would be going with someone else. The person made no effort to win back my business he just said okay and hung up the phone. Needless to say I never heard back from them. Since my first estimate on this work was for around $1,500.00 dollars I guess it is their loss.

Serviceman arrived on time, quoted me 2 products and compared them. Did not have it on his truck. Found one about 13 miles away. Did a speedy installation, and, without my noticing, fixed faucet in a different room. He was polite, and he made me feel he was very competent and professional.

They did a great job. The man was very professional.

They were very courteous when they came twice to plunge my toilet, and the price was reasonable. They clearly explained to me another problem I had had about a leak. When I deceided to get a new toilet, they told me how to locate one that I had found on Consumer Reports, even thugh it was not one of the ones they usually install. I was supposed to pick up the toilet, which was suppposed to arrive in three boxes that could be put into a car. But when the toilet arrived, it came in one box that the distributor said would be too big to put into a car. I called Roby's and they said they would pick it up for me and install it. I appreciated their good will, and the fact that they were so willing to help me do something different, as well as something that ended up saving me money.

They were excellent. The representative completed the work in one day. It was wonderful. I also went with a back up sum pump. The other company I called wasn?t interested to come out. Roby?s were out within an hour. They were in the area so they just came over. My husband is an engineer and he feels their quality of work has been excellent.

I explained the problem and the additional work I wanted to have done. We then discussed the best way to tackle this project and verified that wwe wee both saying and hearing the same thing. The work was then done as discussed and all connections were examined to make sure there we not any leaks. A great thorough job.

I don't have anything negative to say about them. They came in and did the job. We were satisfied with the work. We have a 6 year warranty on the water heater. I don't have anything to compare their price to. I don't know what other companies would have charged.

He quoted us a price much cheaper than what we were expecting, and I think that's because he charged us only for what we needed, which was a rebuilt faucet, versus a new one. He even showed my husband things to look for to fix in the future. Awesome, I love Roby's and have referred them to many friends.

I liked them and I would give them all A's.

Our water heater suddenly stopped working and despite the heat of July we did not enjoy the cold showers that resulted. Just a little over 10 years ago Roby's had come to our rescue on a Sunday evening when a water heater sprung a leak and flooded our garage so I immediately called them again. I was provided with an estimate over the phone and scheduled a time that day for the work to occur. During the call we also discussed why they had switched from using a specific brand of water heaters (a much appreciated education) as well as the location of the water softener (it sits in front of the water heater in a cramped closet) and whether or not I needed to call that vendor to move it while the work was being performed (no need to call the vendor but an extra fee was charged to unhook everything then put it back to its original state). They showed up at the promised time, were courteous, completed the work that day and left no trace of any mess.

Without a hitch or concern. Perfect from start to finish.

He did an excellent. I called him in the morning; he came out, installed the water heater and left by evening. The quality is nice so far.

My kitchen sink was clogged beyond hope of self repair. I called the company and 2 hours later my sink was working again. Fast and professional service. Kevin gave professinal advice to prevent the problem left everything in clean condition. Excellent. I will definitely use this company again.

After the 2nd hot water heater in 9 years failed, I got a second opinion from Roby's about why the heaters were not lasting. Dave, the plumber, came the same day I called and offered great advice concerning the need for a water pressure valve and also suggested a tankless water heater which not only saves energy, lasts longer and qualifies for a tax credit. I had also contacted the orginal company that installed the old water heater who offered no alternative advice other than to replace it with the same type o of heater but to add an additional warranty to cover a new heater but which did not cover the labor which amounted to half the total cost. No suggestion was given about a water pressure valve--which may have contributed to the short life of the two previous heaters or information about the advantages of the tankless heater. After the tax credit, the tankless heater costs about the same as a regular heater and should last far longer at kess cost for energy. Dave also found that our battery backup sump pump was not installed properly and would not have functioned in an emergency and even if it had, the battery would soon have been drained rendering it nearly useless. We had a new, effective one installed. Dave is intelligent, communicative, and thorough. Great job!

Someone from the company came to my house the same day to give an estimate. I asked for the cost of moving water pipes and gas line to my water heater and water softener. The person who showed up said the water heater was installed incorrectly although it has been working well for over five years and was installed according to the instructions with it. This person indicated he couldn't give an estimate because he was not a certified on my water heater. This had nothing to do with the requested work. I just wanted the pipes moved. He scheduled a certified water heater techician to come out to my house the same day. This person showed up and said the water heater was installed incorrectly and because it was he felt "uncomfortable" doing the work. He said he had never seen a water heater installed in this manner. Even after I showed him the manual for the water heater where it confirmed it had been installed correctly, he still did not want to do the work. Not a good experience.

Within an hour of my calling, Dave was here to look at our old hot water heater, which wasn't working. He advised us that the repair it needed was nearly half the cost of a new hot water heater, and recommended that we replace the hot water heater entirely. He left us with some estimates to give us time to decide, and did not charge for the initial visit to diagnose the old hot water heater. On the same day we called back with our decision to get a new one, and, again, within an hour, Dave was back to replace the old one with a new one. No mess, he was very friendly and nice. Installing the new hot water heater went quickly.

He came out at 10:30pm, he was great. Given the time of day he was very timely, he knew how to fix it. He was courteous and competent. We would have no qualms about calling them again and we certainly will.

It went well. When I scheduled the appt, Roby suggested an appt. a little earlier in the day so the quote and work could be completed in the same afternoon if we decided we wanted to go with the quote. We appreciated the scheduling recommendation so we only had one trip to the house.

The plumber, Dave, was very courteous, gave me estimates on pricing and explained in detail everything that he would be doing. He was at my house the better part of a day and completed all items that we discussed. His prices were competitive or better than other prices that I had gotten from 2 other plumbers. I decided to call Roby's because of their high rating on Angie's list and was very pleased with the service.

They did good. They have been prompt. We would use them again in the future.
