Repair person had to diagnose the problem before he could give an estimate of charges since the problem could have been more than one issue - the pilot light would not stay lighted. He explained this to me, I agreed and he installed the new part and then tested the water heater to see if the thermacoupler was the problem. Service was professional and the explanation to me was clear and simple.

Came same day. The guy was a real pro. Had it done in approx. one hour. Great guy, good work. I just thought it was a little expensive, however, I was quoted the price before he did the job.

The experience was very good, or at least as good as an unplanned expense of this scale can go. I did some quick online shopping before and after talked to a friend who had to do the same thing and I am confident we got a very good price as well as great service.

Dave, contacted us prior to his arrival. He stayed with the job until everything was finished. We are very satisfied with the way everything was done.

I was pretty disappointed. The plumber did an absolutely fantastic job in terms of punctuality and professionalism until we had a problem. The hose spigot he installed turned out to be completely inaccessible. During the installation process I said "Is there any way you could turn it upside down", because of the orientation of the spigot, and floor joists for a deck that is in the way. He said something like "No. It would freeze like that, (true, and good information) however I could turn it at an angle, to make it more accessible". I thought that would be a splendid idea. However, the plumber turned the spigot directly into an floor joist on the deck, which made it impossible to attach hose to. I called the plumber back to repair the problem, (I could not, in any way, use the spigot). My wife received his call before I got home, and I arrived to him saying that "Your husband demanded that I install it" in such a way. We had a rather heated disagreement, because I was pretty certain that I wanted the spigot to be usable, which is why I hired someone to do the job. He acquiesced and went to the hardware store to buy some inexpensive parts that failed during the winter. Currently, I have a non-leaking spigot (the goal), but I cannot in any way attach a hose to it (the other goal). Had the plumber rotated it 30 degrees to the right, instead of to the left, there would have been no problem. The job cost $350. I would love to have them come out and rotate the pipe, but I will not repay for a botched job (and I would prefer to never deal with the gentleman who I found insulting). He was charming, and nice, and he did a good job, until the job didn't work.

When we called they immediately offered to come out same day. We asked if they could be here early the next morning and they agreed. They were on time and professional. Kevin determined that the work would be more than they could perform - meaning I needed to replace the entire shower versus just fixing the plumbing. He offered to fix the plumbing, but recommended I get someone who could do it all in one visit. He was honest in his estimate and saved me some money with the referral. This is a great group and I would call them again for plumbing concerns.

They went through the wall to get to the pipe to unplug the blockage. They did amazing work. The hole made in the wall was a small square and it was a very difficult plug to find and unplug. They were immaculate. He carpeted the stairs and wore booties on his feet to keep my house clean. They did not charge me for the estimate they preformed the previous day that took over 2 hours. They are an excellent company and I would highly recommend them!

They were excellent. They are the only ones we hope to use in the future. He is very easy to deal with.

Roby's was very punctual and was able to get a plumber to our home the same day that we called. We had to work through some home warranty details otherwise Roby's would have been able to install same day. We were very impressed, and Dave, our plumber was able to share with us a lot of knowledge regarding high efficiency water heaters and other options.

Roby's returned my call the same day and had someone to my house that day to complete repairs. Overall it went very well.

It was an excellent experience and went without incident. The service technician was very professional and extremely friendly.

Jim was here only about 15 minutes and Roby's was nice enough to call me and let me know that he was on his way. Nothing but positive things to say! Jim had a great sense of humor and was very personable.

Service was same day I called and both faucets were fixed promptly.

The toliet the builder installed in our house begain leaking. We tried to repair ourselves with help from Lowe's. Needless to say, it did not work. The toliet was still leaking. We called Roby's in the morning, and a repairman was at our house the same day. He was very professional and explained that the type of toliet installed by the builder actually is not installed the same as a standard toliet. He fixed it and made sure that it was not leaking. He then unclogged the bathroom sink and provided us with a tip for keeping it unclogged in the future. Overall, a great experience.

Our water heater broke early on a Monday morning. Called Roby based on review's for Angie's List and they had a new water heater installed by the end of the day. No problems or issues.

The job went very well. The house was built in the 1900's so the original plumbing was diffcult to work with. The drain in a bathroom sink was clearing very, very slowly. The application of several different drain cleaners over the course of several weeks had little or no effect. Although I was able to remove the trap under sink, the drain line made a sharp 90 degree bend once it got inside the wall and I was not able to get a hand powered snake past the bend. Because of the age of the plumbing and the fact that the bathroom wall had 10" square tiles, I was concerned that I would create more damage that I was willing to accept if I continued. I call a professional and Roby's was able to use a small power snake to clear the blockage. The technician also offered suggestions I might use to resolve other plumnbing issues he found in the area.

The repairman came right on time, cleaned the drain.

He was very nice. The work was done well. I was satisfied with his service.

Very good service and installer was polite. I called them late afternoon on a Monday and they brought our new water heater early the next afternoon.

We discovered that our water heater had broken on Tuesday night. I called Roby's at 7:00 on Wednesday morning. Their serviceman Dave was at our house by 8:30 replacing our water heater. It was an 80 gallon tank that we drained prior to his arrival. We paid extra for a 12 year warranty. I was so thrilled to get hot water back in the house!!!. Dave was informative and very efficient. They cleaned up the mess and were careful about dripping water. I would definitely use Roby's again. Their response time was unparalleled.

They were very neat and organized. The protected our carpets and cleaned everything up when they were done. Best of all they had a Saturday appointment since we discovered Friday night the old tank was leaking and we were headed out of town on Sunday.

Our old water softener no longer worked properly, so we contacted several companies for repair or replace estimates. Roby's repair estimate was consistent with the other estimates we received, and their replace estimate was lower than the other estimates. The plumbing technician, Dave Crocco, did a great job of explaining the benefits of an on-demand water softener, which we ended up purchasing. He also indicated that the unit was made in Indiana. The installation process lasted approximately 2 hours. Roby's removed the old unit, and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. They also put on disposable clean covers over their boots when they came into my house. We have used them in the past, and continue to be impressed by their professionalism, cleanliness, and fair prices. I like the fact that they charge by the job rather than by the hour.

They were pleasant and fast. The only thing I had was that he was a licensed plumber and he charged licensed plumber fee. I would definitely use them again.

They did an excellent job - arrived on time, performed quality work. We were extremely satisifed with the work done.

The garbage disposal had quite a workout on Thanksgiving Day. A guest used it in helping out in the kitchen but did not run enough water while using it. The next morning after unsuccessfully trying to unclog the drain with liquid plummer, I called Roby's. About the time I was expecting the plumber to show up, I received a call from him (Rick) inquiring about my address. He couldn't find my house number. There had been a little mixup with the spelling of my street and the dispatcher had sent Rick to the east side of Indy and I live on the west side. Within about 25 minutes Rick arrived and took care of the drain. He was friendly, pleasant and careful around the work area. I thought the price was reasonable and was also able to save $20 by using an Angie's List coupon.
