Roby's Plumbing

We called Roby's on 9/14 to ask them to provide us with an estimate on the work we needed completed. They sent Rick to our home within 45 minutes of our call and he provided us with a very resonable estimate. After comparing his estimate with the others we had received we decided to have the work completed by Roby's. Roby's scheduled the work for 9/16 and they did a very nice job. They were very responsive to our calls and always called to let me know they were in route to our house so I didn't have to wait on them. They were very nice to work with and we will certainly use them in the future. Give these guys a call I am sure you will be pleased with the entire experience of working with them

Arrived at the arranged time. Was very personable. Completely serviced the dishwasher and explained the problem.

I called over my lunch, looking to schedule an appt to repair a broken shower faucet. To my surprise, they were able to arrive within the hour because they were already in the area! Wow!! My mom was at our house, so I said ok. My mom said indeed, they arrived quickly, gave her quote to complete everything I had asked about and she emailed me with the details. She did, and it sounded reasonable to me, so he went ahead. I really like the faucet he installed and it works great.

It went great. After the clog was clear, we monitored the leak which seemed to have come from the over flow plate. Learned a few things about my house in the process.

The guy came and fixed it in no time at all. The fix work so far and the guy seemed to know what he's doing. Overall the job was well done but initially when I asked him how he was going to fix the leak he wasn't willing to explain what he was going to do. I'm satisfied with the job that he did, I just wish he's a little more forthcoming in explaining what he was planning to do to fix the leak.

Great experience. Fast response replaced the faucet connector in the wall and solved the problem. Also tightened toilet and made certain there was no damage (thought I had a little leak). I needed to replace drywall after they completed faucet.

I asked for a gas leak repair and received an estimate for a whole house pipe replacement of $1,500. He told me that all my pipes needed replaced. I figured I should check this out and get other opinions. This would be a good price if all of my pipes and fittings really were bad. I had someone else come in and look with me and found 3 leaks, one in the house and two under. He repaired them with $15 worth of parts, tape and a spray bottle with soapy water in it to test all of the connections. After the repairs the pipes held pressure with no leaks showing on the pressure gage. I know times are rough, but do the estimate your client asked you to do without the unnecessary extra work and labor. This is why people fear calling the plumber.

I did specifically ask for the best plumber they had and explained my concern for the ceiling. Although I had to wait over the weekend, I was able to do that because that toilet is not used frequently unless we have company. My impression was that they did send me the best! He was extremely competent, very analytical and, as a bonus, had a great sense of humor. Now I am hoping he was correct in his analysis of the problem because that would mean he stopped the leak and we would not have to cut into the ceiling. I admit, i will be surprised to find that he was not correct because he seemed to me to be extremely competent.

They were on time and they did a good job. the price was a little bit high.

Without a hitch. They also had to dig into a built-in brick planter in the front of the house to install the new, weatherproof outside faucet and I couldn't even tell where they had dug it up.

They seem to have their act together.

He immediately knew what was wrong and knew he equipment couldn't fix it. Referred us to another plumbing company that could fix the problem and did not charge us for a service call. He also quoted us the price to fix the plumbing in our sink and basement. Very nice guy and knowledgeable.

This was the first time we had called a plumber in over 10 years so the cost (which reflected a $20 Angies List discount) gave me sticker shock but the work was done efficiently and punctually and technician Rick Buck was very professional in manner and appearance. I will call ROBY'S PLUMBING again and will have have no hesitation in referring ROBY'S PLUMBING to my residential real estate clients, family and friends.

They are fairly reasonable and they tell you their price ahead of time so if you don't want it you can deny it. Right now he is the only plumber I use.

I called Robys and talked to both Larry and John who were great in being able to schedule someone (Rick Buck) to come out and unclog our kitchen sink. I also had someone coming in that day to do some drywall in the ceiling right above the kitchen sink and Robys was able to help me work around their schedule and at the same time,get my problem solved. Rick has come out to our house a few times now and I feel like I am on a first name basis with him. My husband and I have used Robys quite a bit and will continue to do so as they do a great job and I can count on them. Great job guys!

My experience with their service was excellent. I just felt they were honest and gave me options as far as whether to replace the water heater or just clear up the clog in the water heater. Due to the age of my water heater, I just felt like it would be a better decision to replace it at this point. They supplied the water heater and it was just fine.

On time - thorough - professional - bind.

I like the fact that they are not flyby people. They appear to be skilled and professional plumbers who take the time to explain and analyze with you what the problem is. They also give different alternatives and pros and cons of the job. They are little high in price, but they are worth it.

It went ok, they completed the work and cleaned up. There were no leaks, however after they left we noticed a water hammer issue that we didn't have before. I am not sure if this is due to the new faucet, but I am surprised they didn't notice it before they left.

The technician came out and looked at the pumps and informed us that all three of our pumps were out and needed to be replaced. We had alot of rain and I was afraid that there might be flooding soon, so I had them go ahead and replace them. He told me it was going to be $2800, and I decided to go ahead and have the job done. The job was done well. We went online and found that the prices for the pumps online were $1260 total. This was taking the highest of the prices for all the pumps and adding them together. I realize that there was a battery included that we did not get a price for, but we feel that the prices charged were excessive. It should have been closes to $2000 instead of $2800. The price was over excessive.

I've been battling water in my basement for a couple of years. Just when I thought I had it licked, water came up through the drain in the floor. With all of the water and melting ice we've had this season, it seemd like my house was a leaking ship... I called Roby's and they sent a plumber out the same afternoon! He was very professional and took the time to educate me on some of the issues we might be facing. He snaked the drain and, at his suggestion (which was a very good one), we recharged the water softener while he was snaking. He had correctly concluded/diagnosed that when the softener was recharging the line was backing up. After clearing the line, the drain worked just fine. He offered advice on questions I asked about water heaters, and other plumbing matters. It was perfect opportunity to "hard-sell" me on upgrades, additions services - he even had an opportunity to sell me on replacing the entire drain assembly, instead of clearing the line...none of which he took! No hard-sell, no pitch - just honest advice and good work. He even went so far as to offer a recommendation on a "flood recovery" company to help save my carpets. Professional, friendly, and honest - I will DEFINITELY call Roby's again...hopefully I don't have to, but I would ;-)

Plumber Dave Corocco a Master Plumber arrived on time as promised. Called 20 minutes before arrival. His work was thorough, his explanations of the new heater were informative, he was neat and cleaned up all materials. He finished in two hours. work was excellent. Highly recommend recommend this local company. Roby Plumbing is a local family run company and not part of a national conglomerate.
