When they arrived - rigfht on time - and I answered the door I was rather surprised since they are quite young. They quickly assured me they were very good house cleaners and in fact loved their work. And they did exactly all the jobs they said they would do. I turned down their offer to wash the windows since we are in process of having house painted and painters were coming Monday to power wash the house. I promptly booked them for next Tuesday to wash the windows after the painter was finished with power wash. I have asked them to return each week on Tuesday and Friday. My plan is to use then on a weekly basis and I am so happy I found them. Thanks to the list.
Since I am relatively new to the area having moved here from Ohio - I came here with no contacts and my housekeeper of 38 years of course remained at her home in Ohio. I have found exactly what I need in these very young women. And very happy to have found them.
What they did well:
I have lots of pets, and they did a good job getting fur up.
They were tolerant of my pets.
The areas they dusted and vacuumed were acceptable.
They worked quickly.
Things they missed:
The dog crates weren't vacuumed out.
Under the couch cushions wasn't vacuumed.
Smaller furniture (chaise) wasn't vacuumed underneath.
Some baseboards were missed.
The backsplash in the kitchen wasn't cleaned.
The drip pan for the water dispenser on the front of the fridge wasn't cleaned (and it is dirty!!).
Some of the baseboards and walls weren't as clean as I would have liked.
The floors in my kitchen/laundry room area were really dirty due to a leak I had previously. They mopped 3 times but there was still a lot of residue left when they stopped. I would have asked them to mop again, but I had to be somewhere.
They did a decent overall job. A picky customer might not have been satisfied. A few customers like that, and I think these guys will become really detail oriented!
