PRITT ELECTRIC

The company called me in advance to get a sense for the projects I needed. The technician arrived on time and was very skilled and friendly. I asked them to repair a few inoperable outlets and light switches. He also covered an open junction box that was in a very hard place to reach. He also gave me some suggestions about future lighting & ceiling fan projects we want to tackle in our house. He was great to work with.

They increased power and left.

Great service starting with calling for an appointment. The two electricians arrived at the slated time and they were very professional and friendly. They cleaned up after and made sure the fans were balanced. We definitely will use Pritt Electric again. Thank you!

I utilized the Angie?s list Big Deal- although I was a little skeptical. Thinking they would come in and then try to up sell me on other services or worse tell me the project would take longer than the time provided on Big Deal discount offer. My fears were instantly put to rest when the Technician came to my house, on-time, looking professional, and very friendly! I told him what I needed done he quickly got to work fixing the 3-broken switches and dimmer switch installation in the basement with still an hour left on the Time sensitive service call. He then asked me if there was anything else I needed completed since I paid for two hours and he only needed 1 hour to complete my tasks. I have finally found my go to electrician. YEA!!!

I bought the $99 deal, was called the next day to set up an appointment, and got an appointment within about a week. Javier, the electrician, was here 5 minutes early, and I showed him the problems. 3 of the fixes were simple (for him). The second dead plug, on a GFI circuit, was substantially more challenging. He used a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques to track the power from the breaker panel, through the attic to the opposite side of the house, found the discontinuity, and fixed it. Throughout the process, he was totally confident and professional. He was also very personable, conversing easily while working on the simpler fixes. The additional $50 was for a new doorbell, which he provided and installed, since the old one had burned out. Despite working longer than the contracted 2 hours, there was no charge for additional labor. My only two contacts with the company were the office person who was very professional and proficient, and Javier, who I'll request for any future electrical work.

Fixed 3 way switch by my stairs, and fixed the outlet by living room. And he did it all so quickly, and the work was really well done!

The serviceman came out and was extremely prompt and professional. He performed the service we needed even though it was a difficult problem due to the faulty wiring and older home in which we live. He then checked our bathroom fan for us as well and even helped us out with something we had to get off the roof by using his ladder. They really went the extra mile to make us happy customers even though we were using a coupon, which was nice. I would certainly recommend them to anyone in need of electrical services.

Crew of 2 workers came, inspected the location of work and got started immediately. After removing the old cables and conduit, they set new ones, then a new box. Remade all connections and check all circuits. Clean up site. Work was done well, efficient, complete and clean. A charm.

My husband and I had purchased a new ceiling fan light kit to replace an old one in our living room. We took the old light off the existing ceiling fan, then attempted to install the new light, but it didn't fit. By then we were frustrated and gave up for the night. The next day I bought a new ceiling fan/light fixture combo, and called Pritt. They were able to do the work that afternoon. He arrived on time, after calling first. They took off the old ceiling fan, and installed the new fan and light, and hauled away the old fan. He cleaned up after himself, and was friendly and professional. He completed the work in about an hour and a half.

Tom and Javi did an outstanding job on our project from punctual arrival to completion of project in multiple phases. They were more than willing to make changes and add-ons when requested. Linda was extremely cordial in making appointments and make changes on job dates. I would recommend their services to anyone needing quality electrical work

Everything went great. The technician was very good at communicating what needed to be done. It turned out to be something small, and he took care of it quickly and professionally. I also couldn't be happier with the price, and will use Pritt in the future!

Over the weekend, the husband had discovered that an outlet in the master bedroom had suddenly stopped working. He discovered this because the TV went off. Always a clue. He assumed that the plug needed to be replaced, so he did that, but it still didn't work. I searched Angie's List and found Pritt Electric was on the southside, had numerous good reviews AND a $30 coupon. I love a good coupon combined with good reviews. So I called on Monday, and the first time/day that I was able to be here for the technician was Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Tom was here before 1pm. He quickly figured out that the problem wasn't the outlet at all, but the wall switch next to the outlet. The wiring had come loose, and was shorting out. (At least that is my interpretation of what he said. :) He quickly did his fix, applied my $30 coupon, and the deal was done. I would definitely recommend Tom Adams, and Pritt Electric.

I am very satisfied with the work that the electrician did himself. Therefore I have given an B for my overall experience. However I am dissatisfied about a few things. Originally I had been quoted that the work would be performed by two men. Just to clarify the electrician that did my estimate is the same one that performed the work. The electrician called me to get the correct street name on the day of the estimate. He said he had a different street name than what the "office" had given him and would be at my house in 40 minutes. He showed up 45 minutes after the scheduled time. When the electrician arrived to perform the actual work he said that he would be working by himself and that it would take longer to do the work by himself. Even though he explained it in professional manner I could still sense he was not happy. He seemed to be somewhat flustered as he began to get his tools and prepare to start his work. A short time later he asked if it was ok to leave for lunch and get some parts that he had not anticipated would be needed. He said that the parts he needed were because they were not allowed to use tools during the estimating process and he did not expect that he would need these parts during the estimating process. I was puzzled by this but didn't question it. Later on he was in conversation with what I assumed to be another electrician and that person seemed to be confused by the day's schedule decisions made that morning but the electrician in my home was aware of my presence and simply told his coworker he was with a customer. He went right back to work and got the job done. I gave a helping hand a few times during the time he was doing his work. It looked professional and I was pleased. I did sign the form saying I was pleased with his work but I do want to make clear that I wasn't totally please with how the day went. I am giving others an honest assessment of my experience. If there was a schedule change or a disagreement with supervisors or managers don't air it out in front of the customer. If you need to use tools to do a proper estimate then by all means please go get the tools out of the truck to give the customer a proper estimate. If it is true that tools are not allowed during the estimate process I am not sure how that is a benefit to the customer. But that is just my opinion. I should have questioned why one man actually doing the work is the same cost as two men doing the work. Maybe I should have questioned if I am paying for the lunch break and the trip to get more parts that weren't included in the original estimate. Learn from my experience as I have. I'll be better prepared next time.

Wow, all I can say is Pritt is a first-class business. Moving into an older house and doing renovations is highly stressful, and everything does not go as expected. An honest mishap happened that caused me to have a melt-down. Pritt not only dealt with my tantrum, but they made everything right in the end. Most companies would told me to take a hike, as I was pretty out of control. The guys from Pritt, Javier and Brad, are awesome. Trust me, Pritt in a class of its own when it comes to customer service.

Overall, the job went very well. The technician did the work well and we have no complaints there. In fact, we both thought he was very polite and that he treated us well. We were just disappointed that the service call charge was so expensive even after we had the work done.

Two employees did the work in about 5 hours. They were experienced and did a nice job. We failed to spec the type of TV outlets we wanted prior to their arrival, so they ran around to try to find what we needed and installed the same day. The guys moved the outlet covers for me after installing (without grumbling) b/c they weren't straight enough for my anal tendencies. Overall a great experience. To note: They did cause a small cracked area in my drywall where they installed one switch very close to an existing switch. They offered to patch it, but I didn't have the materials. I forgot to ask for a discount to have it repaired (and they didn't offer one to cover the repairs).

Pritt was very willing to not only match or previous quotes, but beat them all by nearly 1/2 the cost! In addition to their great price, they also installed the ceiling fans after creating the rough-in. While the electrician was there we also asked if he could repair a GFI that we had discovered was bad over the weekend - and he was more than happy and willing to take care of that too - even though it wasn't on the original work order! The electrician was there for a long time, but for the quality of work and price - it was worth it to us!

Definitely recommend! Showed up on time, wore booties over his shoes to protect my carpet, worked efficiently, and cleaned up everything before he left. Very professional and personable. Completed all of my work in just over an hour!

He was on time, courteous and did good work. I'm well satisfied with the work and price. Coupon on Angies List saved me $30. plus he gave me a $25 coupon for future use.

They did a great job. There were punctual and on time. They were here when they said they would be. We were pleased with everything.

The job went really well. They were dependable and did what they said they would do. They arrived on time. Before they left, they made sure that everything had been done correctly. He did a thorough job. They were courteous. The price was good, too.

I have always been able to get timely service when I call. This job was especially large and it took them a couple of days. Three technicians worked on the job, all were professional and courteous. They kept me posted of their progress.

We were opening a new building here at Angie's List, and needed a new GFI installed near a sink for one of the machines here. Linda was awesome at getting it set up and scheduled for us, and Dan did great at doing the job for us quickly and efficiently. We've used Pritt exclusively for quite a few months now, and they've become the Angie's List dedicated electrician. We use no one elase at this point.

Here at The List, we opened a new office building. We called on Pritt to quote us on a general electrical inspection, and installing new outlets and GFI's for us. They were prompt, courteous, and efficient in gettin us the quote, and excellent in scheduling and doing the work in our time frame. The whole group at Pritt always do their best to work with us on time and scheduling, and are great at doing the work we need to our complete satisfaction.

We here at Angie's List needed to have a new circuit and dedicated outlet installed in one of our buildings for new machinery. Linda was great in getting someone out here to quote us, and when approved, they were excellent about scheduling around our time constraints due to being in an office building with people on the phones constantly during the day. Dan did a great job and made sure we were completely satisfied before he left after finishing the job. These guys are awesome!
