Everything went in as promised with no problems or issues. Workmen were focused and clearly competent. We asked they wait until later to clear the air ducts and when we called back several months later, they came right out and did that part of the job just as professionally. We could not be happier and strongly recommend them!

Cleaning was vacuum only, but he was willing to scrub a vent with cleaner as well.

As for as the company goes, they take care of their customers. A handyman cut through a wall and severed an a/c line prior to installation. Peterman Heating and Cooling did not charge the handyman or me for this added cost. I did appreciate that very much and so did the handyman.
There is room for improvement, however, in the end it all turned out fine. Possibly, just a little customer service training for the installers.

I have two central AC units (two zones), one of which had the coils freeze up. Once unfrozen, it stopped blowing cold air.
I called Peterman and scheduled an appointment. Since I had one unit running, I did not pay the extra for a off-hours service call. The repairman found leaks in both systems. Plugged each and filled the freon. He also told me the cause of the frozen coils was the location of my dehumidifier and suggested where to locate it. Since the service call, I have had the best AC, nice and cold, with the most even humidity since I bought the house 10 years ago. The $587 was for repairing the damage, the service call, Freon and I bought a service contract on both units.
I think the price is fair for the work I had done and the service contract I bought.
What is GREAT, is I forgot about the service contract, yet they reminded me that I had some free service calls built in for periodic maintenance. They called to remind me and schedule it. Most firms would have kept the money and let me forget.
