Parker Tree Service

Removed overgrown trees and shrubs from me and my neighbors property line. Parker Tree service was amazing and will be using them again this spring!

Mr. Parker met with us to assess the job and give an estimate.  Upon acceptance
of the estimate, he said he'd call the evening before he and his crew
would do the work, and indeed, he did.  The crew worked efficiently, and
upon completion thoroughly cleaned up the area.  We are so pleased that
we've already gotten an estimate for additional work, and look forward
to it being done just as well.

They did an excellent job.  The tree was there in morning, when I got back it was gone.  They cleaned up pretty well afterwards.

We got an estimate from Parker Tree Service while our neighbor was also getting an estimate. They had done a lot of work in our neighborhood over the past year, so I was familiar with the company. Our neighbors had several trees removed and were very pleased with the work. Based on that and their competitive price, I decided to give them a try. The tree and all wood was removed from the property, so there were very little signs they were even there. And the tree was cut down level with the ground. I was very pleased with the work done and the clean-up afterwards. I will likely use them again for other trees on our property and will recommend them to other neighbors.

Tom explained the man would come later to remove the stump and that my husband did not have to pay until the entire job was done. Then, when Tom was done cutting down the small tree and removing the other branches, he requested payment for the job. My husband reminded him that earlier he had said that payment would not be due until the entire job was done.

 Then came the bombshell.

Tom informed my husband that the man would come later to remove the stump and it would be an additional $75 that we would pay that man. Although we know we will have future tree removal services, we will NEVER use or recommend Tom Parker of Parker Tree Service. He was unprofessional in misrepresenting the cost of the job during the initial conversation with my husband, as well as casual conversation with my husband the day of the job.

 I will give credit where credit is due. He did arrive on time which was responsive to my request. However, he was not responsive to our expectation or my husband's conversation with him about that misrepresentation. 

To add salt to the wound,  our neighbor ended up hiring to do a small job while here based on our initial recommendation PRIOR to knowing that Tom Parker was not a man of his word. Thank goodness our neighbor did not have to have a stump removed.

We received a flyer in our mailbox for Parker Tree Service and decided to call them for a tree removal estimate. The owner, Tom Parker, gave the estimate and was a very knowledgeable and helpful. We originally wanted to remove a very large oak tree, but he suggested trimming it instead, which we ended up doing. Not only did his suggestion save us a ton of money, but it served our original purpose (to add more sunlight to our yard) without having to remove the entire tree. We really appreciated his advice, especially since he was clearly looking out for our best interest since it meant less money for him. He gave the estimate on a Sunday and was at our house for the job on Tuesday. He and his crew did such a great job that we ended up adding more work to the original estimate.

Tom said he's been in the tree business nearly all of his life, and you can tell from his knowledge and work ethic. They did a great job and we would definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree removal or tree trimming. Their prices were very reasonable.

He was suppose to take the limbs out and top the tree. They got up on the roof and cut the limbs back off the house. He was suppose to shape the tree and he never did. I called him 2 or 3 days later and advised me that he will check it out. He has never showed up. I called him and left him a message and have not heard from him since.
