 + -1 moreBrandon was very professional and knowledgeable. He was very thorough and explained everything to both me and my husband, (via phone and upon his arrival, back home, later) numerous times. They give you the cost up front, (set prices in a book) so there are no surprises. Brandon was super efficient and made sure that he cleaned up after all of the work was performed. He also took a quick look at our showerhead and made some easy suggestions to increase flow, while he was there. He worked overtime to finish the job. (they scheduled him to arrive at 4 and finished just after 6.) Even though he had some personal things going on, (wife just had surgery which we only found out at the end during conversation b/c my husband had something similar going on and was on crutches) he was completely positive throughout the work. I have used them before and would use them again. Recommend highly.
Description of Work: We found a leak in the basement ceiling that seemed to correlate with the master bath toilet. After seeing the spot on the ceiling, Brandon knew immediately that the toilet would need to be reset (basically it had moved slightly from it's initial placement causing the leak.) He cut a hole in the dry wall, while there, as well so we could start airing it out. They don't do the dry wall repair or contract it out, so I will coordinate that on the back end.

 + -1 moreThe technician was Keith and he was very courteous and knowledgeable. He came right in and knew what to do. He put on his booties and went to work. The only thing I didn't care for was that I thought it was a little too expensive, but I had to have it done, so I did. Otherwise, I really liked their whole concept. They called and were here within an hour of my talking to them. Keith did a great job.
Description of Work: They fixed the supply line underneath my kitchen sink and replaced a shower head in my bathroom.

 + -1 moreThe company was very pleasant to work with. From the time of the initial call and discussion about the required work all the way until the job was finished, I was overly pleased with them. My 13 yr old water heater was leaking and an appointment was able to be made early the next morning for a new one to be installed! The service call was made by Dustin Theobald. Very, very nice gentlemen and was very thorough about discussing the problem and options. He was very precise about his work and showed that he had a vast amount of experience in this field. The result was excellent and was performed quickly. Just using a guideline of Dustin's attitude, personality, and experience, I would definitely recommend R.V. Hallam Plumbing to everyone!

 + -1 moreWe called on Saturday and Russ advised us to pump out to crawlspace if we could, saving us one service call. I really liked their after hour service and quick response. We talked to a person and not a recording. After it was pumped out, Brandon Johnson came out on a Sunday and had it repaired in about an hour. They have a price book so you know how much it will cost before they start. No charging my the hour and no add-ons. We were very satisfied with the work.
Description of Work: We had a leak in the crawlspace from the water main. There was 4 inches of water in the crawlspace.

 + -1 moreFrom the moment I spoke to the owner, Russ Metzler, around 7:30 a.m. I knew I was in good hands. He recognized the urgency of my problem and had someone at my home in about 45 min. The expert who came, John, was an angel. I knew he was not going to leave until he found the source of the leak, and that all was going to be well. He was extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. He told me exactly what he was doing at all times, and even after the repair he went through each step with me so that I would fully understand. What a company! He made many trips in and out of my home, but each time he never failed to put on covers over his shoes. I told him that was not necessary, but he always did it. He was a gentleman at all times, and a great representative of the Metzler company!! I knew that I was in good hands at all times!
Description of Work: It was difficult finding where the leak was coming from, but water was pouring onto the kitchen floor. Work involved going in and out to identify which water meter belonged to my unit, turning water on and off, etc. After locating source of vast water leak in kitchen, the plumber had to work in a limited access space, cut out cabinet, found two leaks in hot water line and repaired them.

A rep arrived that afternoon and did the inspection. He recommended a new heater and told me he could install it the following morning. He arrived as promised and installed the heater,cleaned up and was finished in about two hours. Great service.

 + -1 moreThey came out immediately the next morning and stayed to complete the job even on such short notice. They were professional in handling the situation and especially since they had to work around the restoration crew trying to soak up the water.
Description of Work: The ice maker line had a hole in it and leaked for a week. We could not shut off the water due to a faulty valve. They replaced the ice maker line with a much better quality line and also replaced the shut off value for the reverse osmosis system where the ice maker line ran through with a more appropriate valve.

Description of Work: Job 1: Replaced the garbage disposal.($295.) Job 2: Purchased and installed a sprayer and hose kit for the kitchen sink. Also installed a replacement faucet in the kitchen.($140.)
