Description of Work: Reset toilet. Took him 15 min at the most to perform work. Materials included 2 wax rings and 2 new bolts. Also charged $30 dispatch fee (trip charge), even though I chose to have work performed same day assuming that would be waived.

Description of Work: I had two toilets that needed repair. One toilet was becoming detached from the floor. The other had a problem with the tank not filling up with water after the toilet was flushed, so it would continue to run indefinitely unless there was human intervention to close the bottom of the tank. The plumber repaired both problems

 + -1 moreGreat! The plumber (Mark) arrived on the early end of the 2-hour window, calling personally first to let us know he was on the way. He was neat, efficient, and very considerate. His explanations were thorough, but easy to understand. Our plumber fixed the leak under the sink in no time. Our faucet was from Price Pfister, a brand most plumbers won't deal with because of the difficulty of getting parts. However, the homeowner can get the parts for free by calling or e-mailing the company. We'd received parts to repair a leak in the handle. We'd tried to install the new part, but we were unable to remove the old section. The plumber was also unable to remove the piece because it was "frozen" to the piece below. However, he removed the entire section so we could order the next part from Price Pfister and try to install it ourselves when it came in. For the removal of that part and fixing the leak under the sink, he charged only the service call of $65, less 10% discount for Angie's List.
Description of Work: Fixed a leak under bathroom sink by repacking the whatever it is they repack. Removed a faucet part that had "frozen" to the next part so it was too difficult for us to remove.

 + -1 moreI called them at 7:30 and told them I had no water as I had to shut the main water valve off since the outside faucet had broken off and we could not turn it off nor find the shut off valve for it. They had two people at my house at 8:30. They found the shutoff valve immediately which had been drywalled over. They fixed that apron bib and another one where there was a leak in the pipe. Very nice. They cleaned up after themselves which was great and Jesse promised to return the next day with some cement to fill in the hole as he did not have any with him and he did so.
Description of Work: Replaced two apron bibs.

 + -1 moreWe discovered the leak late Sunday afternoon, shut off the water supply to the water heater, drained the water heater, mopped up, and left a message with Hallam Plumbing to call us on Monday. Hallam's office called around 8:00am Monday morning, took some additional information and said the technician would be here between 10:00 and 12:00. Darrell & Jonathan arrived at 10:15, cut out and replaced the bad section of pipe and cut out the old globe valve and replaced it with a ball valve. They refilled the water heater, vented the lines, and checked for leaks. Both were very pleasant to deal with and professional. The work was completed at about 11:30.
Description of Work: Repaired a pin-hole leak in the outlet side of the water heater by replacing a section of copper pipe and replaced the cold water shut-off valve on the water heater.

I had to call the company more than once because someone at the company had forgotten my appointment so I had to tell them again what time they were suppose to come.

Description of Work: They came to repair the garbage disposal, but it was not broken. They said it was the electrical switch and they recommend another co. While they were here, they replaced the ball cock and flapper in my toilet.
