THEY HAD GOOD REVIEWS, OFFERED A COUPON AND THEY COME EQUIPPED TO HANDLE THE JOB TO COMPLETION. I WAS VERY GRATEFUL TO THE TECHNICIAN, MIKE SPRINGER. HE DID THE APPROPRIATE TROUBLESHOOTING, ISOLATED THE PROBLEM, AND RESOLVED THE MATTER WITHIN A FEW HOURS. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, INFORMATIVE, COURTEOUS AND VERY CONSCIOUS OF MY HOME FURNISHINGS. (NOT TOO MANY CONTRACTORS, CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES!) I WAS ALSO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WHEN I RECEIVED A FOLLOW UP CALL THE NEXT DAY TO QUESTION IF THE PROBLEM HAD BEEN RESOLVED AND IF I HAD ANY OTHER CONCERNS.  + -1 moreWHEN THEY LEFT THE FAUCET HANDLES SPUN AROUND AND DID NOT SEEM TO BE ENGAGING THE STEMS AT ALL. I CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY. THEY REPLACED THE STEMS AGAIN AND SHOWED ME THAT THE METZLER PARTS WERE DEFECTIVE. I CALLED BACK METZLER AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM WITH THE PARTS. AFTER ABOUT 3 WEEKS AND ANOTHER PHONE CALL I RECEIVED A CHECK REFUNDING ME FOR THE PARTS AND LABOR FOR THE SHOWER REPAIR. THE TECHINICIAN DID GIVE ME ESTIMATES BEFORE ANY WORK WAS DONE. I FELT PRESSURED TO GO DIRECTLY TO THE $726 SOLUTION TO THE DRIPPING FAUCET BUT INSTEAD TRIED THE $173 DOLLAR ATTEMPT TO FIX THE LEAKING SHOWER FAUCET FIRST. I DO NOT FEEL THEY PROPERLY INSTALLED THE SHOWER STEMS AND THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE RECOGNIZED THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE PARTS BEFORE THEY LEFT. INSTEAD THEY TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO NEXT REPLACE THE VALVES FOR $726 WHICH WAS NOT TRUE.
Description of Work: THEY GAVE ME ESTIMATES FOR SEVERAL PLUMBING JOBS. THEN THEY SUCCESSFULLY FIXED A LEAKING BATHROOM SINK BY REPLACING THE HOT AND COLD FAUCET STEMS. THEY ATTEMPTED TO FIX A LEAKING SHOWER FAUCET BY REPLACING THE HOT AND COLD SHOWER STEMS. WHEN THIS DID NOT SEEM TO WORK THEY STATED THAT I NEEDED THE VALVES REPLACED FOR $726. I HAD AGREED TO PAY FOR THE FAILED REPAIR BEFORE THEY WOULD ATTEMPT IT. I TOLD THEM THAT I WOULD NEED TO GET ANOTHER ESTIMATE BEFORE I WOULD MAKE SUCH AN INVESTMENT.

I HAD TO TAKE MORE TIME OFF WORK, AND THEY WERE EVEN GOING TO CHARGE ME UNTIL I OBJECTED. I WOULDN'T USE THEM AGAIN. MY HOT WATER STILL COMES OUT WITH A YELLOWISH TINGE, BUT ITS NOT WORTH CALLING THEM BACK OUT FOR ALL THE HASSLES I GOT.
