Mac Irrigation

MAC Irrigation had the contract when I bought the house so I saw no reason to change providers. Each year ('11-'13) they did the job, opening the system in the spring and closing in the fall. During a 2013 hot spell I noticed some grass browning where sprinklers didn't reach, so I called MAC to see if they could suggest a remedy like moving/adding a sprinkler. Left message but no call back. This spring I seeded a few thin spots. After a couple weeks of watering by hand, I called MAC multiple time to see when they were planning on coming out to open the system (understanding they don't want to do it early and risk a frozen line). I left a message, but again no call back. Given no internet presence that I could find, I never knew whether they were even in business, other than one day in the spring my sprinklers would turn on and vice versa in the fall. There was no call from them before or after doing the job either. I finally got tired of the lack of communication, leaving a message for MAC to discontinue service, and went to a real company. Don't quote me on the price shown above, but when I made the switch I did notice MAC was a little cheaper than the competitors.

Mac was referred to us by our landscaper. He came out promptly, explained what he would do and provided a professional estimate His pricing was competitive. His communications were very good and he came to do the work right on schedule. Before he started the project he reviewed the placement of each sprinkler head to make sure we were satisfied that it would do the intended job. The work was completed in two days, as promised, and the system works very well. There was minimal damage done to the existing lawn when installing the water lines (a very pleasant surprise.) He explained how to work the system and has been back after the installation to check the system and its coverage. Mac was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him.
