He did an excellent job. He was efficient and clear in his explanation as to what was wrong and what our options were. He came when he said he would and was neat and clean in his work.

Lance, the owner of L.D. Smith was professional and responsive from the first call. He showed up exactly on time. Explained everything that he was going to do and clarified if I had any questions. The reason I chose to have a washer pan installed was protection to my wood floor against an aging 13 year old washer machine since most old machines start leaking from the bottom when they start to break down.
He suggested changing the hot and cold service valves and showed me that they were leaking. A new pair would increase my security. I believed his suggestion was honest and valid. So the change was made.
Lance submitted an estimate and adhered to the price and honored an Angie's List discount. He was a pleasure to work with and I felt like he was not trying to sell me something that I didn't need. I would not hesitate to call him again.

Our sewer line stopped draining and we called several plumbers. LD Smith offered me a fair price--a flat fee, plus an explanation of how overages were calculated. Plus, offered me a time window. Lance showed up on time and did what turned out to be a hard job-- he had to clear the entire line.
I was pleased with the work, and plan to contact him for my future plumbing needs.

After checking around, his price and professionalism was the best. I used his $50 off coupon listed in the Broad Ripple Gazette. And he's allowing me to use the same discount for another project coming up soon. Overall, he was more honest and fair than the others-quite refreshing.

On the recommendation of a friend, I recently hired LD Smith Plumbing to clean a clogged drain at a rental property. Even though there was some original confusion about the appointment time, he arrived within an acceptable time frame. He was very pleasant and explained the risks involved with drain cleaning. Even though I think the price was too high, you get what you pay for, and I will definitely hire this plumber again in the future.
