When we found out that he had two differnt prices - $200 for those in desperate need (fireplaces were the only source of heat for these families) and $70 for everyone else, we called. His response, "if you don't like my &^%$ing price,buy your wood from someone else." And THAT is exactly what we will do.

I have called the listed telephone number several times during business hours for the last 2 weeks without success. No answering machine.

I called today to set up a time for firewood to be delivered. I left a voicemail and John called me back within 5 minutes. He said he had some some guys delivering today and I said that would be great. They came and dropped the wood off in our driveway. The rick was $60 and there was a $5 delivery charge (we live nearby). I was happy he was able to fit us in on such short notice and grateful too. We're experiencing 60 degree January temperatures today, but winter weather returns tomorrow. My husband and I would much rather stack wood in warm weather.

This is the third time I have gotten wood from John. I stack it myself, so that is not a problem. He always responds quickly to my call and brings firewood cut the way I need it. As my firebox is small I need wood cut 16 to 18 inches long. Probably 95% of the logs were that size.

John dropped the wood by my garage. I was left to stack it.

He brought me the rick of firewood that I wanted. However, it was just cut this year, so it wasn't seasoned firewood and I can't burn it now. I was very upset because I can't get it to burn. It will not burn. I am very upset because I spent the money for it and now I can't even use it.

I have used his services before. I like the quality of wood he provides. He is not skimpy in the measurement and he delivers it the same day or the day after. He will offer to stack it, but we did not have him do that.

The price included delivery and stacking.

I called and left a message to order a rick of firewood. When he called back, I was told that our job was too small and too far away to warrant a special trip, but that he would call back for sure within the next 2 weeks when he was headed our way. After more than 2 weeks, I called and left 2 messages - neither of which was returned.

Delivered two ricks of good wood within two days of calling him. We'll use him again.

On time, very polite, affordable, wood burns great!

Good price and stacked the wood very neatly. Took care not to drive through the yard due to the wood being stacked in the back corner of my yard.

BOTH DELIVERIES WERE SCHEDULED PROMPTLY AND RIGHT ON TIME. THE FIREWOOD IS EXCELLENT, THE QUANTITY APPROPRIATE, THE PRICE JUST RIGHT, I.E. CONSIDERABLY CHEAPER THAN AT LEAST ONE OTHER FIREWOOD SUPPLIER I CONTACTED IN TOWN.

JOHN ARRIVED AT THE TIME HE SCHEDULED. DELIVERED AND STACKED GOOD SEASONED FIREWOOD. VERY NICE GUY. WILL USE AGAIN.

JOHN RODE PROMPTLY RETURNED MY PHONE CALL. THEN HE DELIVERED THE FIREWOOD LATER THAT DAY- RIGHT ON TIME. THE QUALITY OF THE WOOD IS GOOD AND A PERFECT SIZE FOR MY FIREPLACE.

JOHN DELIVERED FIREWOOD TO MY HOUSE. I CALLED HIM ON MONDAY NIGHT AND THE WOOD WAS DELIVERED AND STACKED BY 1:00 PM ON TUESDAY. THE WOOD APPEARS TO BE GOOD SEASONED FIREWOOD. I PURCHASED 2 RICKS FOR $120 (INCLUDING DELIVERY FEE).
