They were very efficient, very friendly and did the job for the agreed upon price. They were fine, and they cleaned up beautifully after their work was done. I got three bids, and their bid was competitive. They certainly weren’t overpriced.

I needed four dead and dying trees removed from my yard. I found Indiana Tree Service on your list and contacted them for an estimate. Their price was reasonable and they were available to do the work on my schedule. They came, they worked,and they l cleaned up after themselves. I am very pleased with the entire transaction. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again if I needed tree removal services.

Crew arrived and immediately accessed the situation and started to work. They used a bucket truck for the birch. They put down plywood to protect the ground from ruts and protect the grass. The locust was removed limb by limb, with a climber going up into the tree and dropping pieces of limb one at a time. I was very impressed how they protected existing landscape, deck and heat pump. Kudos for a great clean up job, too. The lawn was raked and debris taken away, deck, walks and driveway cleaned. A crew of 5 worked hard for a good 4 hours.

They did an excellent job. I had someone in the meantime a few years ago and they did not know what they were doing. Luckily I found my card for Indiana Tree Service and they came out the next day to do the work. They are very thorough and excellent. They even gave me a 10% discount and they took care of my daughters huge tree in her front yard.

I had the most disappointing experience with this company. They are totally unprofessional and do not honor their commitment.I had them give me an estimate early this year for potentially removing one or more out of three trees in my backyard specifically indicating that I will probably do only one. Robert gave me the written estimates and indicated that the proposal is good for 365 days. Couple of weeks ago I called their office telling that I want to remove the cotton wood tree for which he had given me an estimate of $ 700 and asking how much extra he will charge for stump removal and also if there is a discount for the fall. To day I called them to follow up and to my astonishment they have changed the price for the removal of the cotton wood tree from $ 700 to $ 900. Obviously I am unhappy. His office says the second and third trees included a discount...but I specifically had told him I will do only one of the three. There was nothing in the written quote indicating any discount. Also his office had told me earlier, inadvertently, that their discount is 10 %. I have to conclude these guys are untrustworthy and unprofessional. I told them that I will report to AngiesList, but they said they do not care!!! I am sure I could have legally extracted "specific performance" from them, but I decided I would rather go with a more professional company.AngiesList members...please beware this outfit. Dave

Robert, one of the co-owners of the company, came out and walked our property when giving us our quote so he would be able to give the crew detailed information on how to proceed with the job. On the day that they performed the work, Robert came out and gave specific instructions on how to proceed and the crew did an excellent job. They arrived at approximately 9 a.m. and were finished, including removal of all debris, by noon. They were professional and prudent in the way they went about their work and did not hesitate to ask questions regarding which branches we wanted trimmed back. We've used them before and will use them again in the future for our tree trimming/removal needs.

I had four estimates and Indiana Tree was the lowest. They arrived at 8:00 and by 8:45 the trees were down, chipped and stumps were ground The guys worked fast and were very courteous. They leveled out the stump grindings and did an excellent job of cleaning up all the debris from the yard, driveway and street.

Went excellent from start to finish. The owner was out to give me an estimate the day after I initially called. The work was quickly scheduled for the following week. All trees and shrubs were trimmed as expected and to my satisfaction. The yard was left in very good condition considering all the limbs that came down. And best of all the price was very reasonable for the amount of work performed. I would highly recommend this company and will use again in the future

The first step was to schedule an appointment for a quote. The estimator was very efficient and answered all of my questions and left me with a written copy of his quote. I called the office that same day to schedule the work. The crew foreman called me when he was an hour away so that I would know when they would arrive. They did an excellent job and trimmed the trees very efficiently and professionally. Afterwards, they cleaned up all of the debris and even picked up the small pieces that had fallen on the driveway and street. We have used Indiana Tree Service for the past several years and have never been disappointed. They have always provided excellent service at a very reasonable price.

Overall, the experience went well. They arrived on time and were very professional. The price was reasonable and competitive. They did the job in a timely manner, cleaned up everything after themselves, and I was very pleased with the work done. I'm satisfied with their services.

They told us about the health of our tree, so they were very helpful. We were contemplating taking some trees down for us, but they told us that the trees were in good shape, so we did not need to have the work done. We may have the vitamins and nutrients done in the fall. They were great.

HARLAN AGREED TO FIX A TALL FENCE FOR ME HAS HE HAD DONE IN THE PAST, WHEN HIS CREW ARRIVED WE PROVIDED THE SUPPLIES AND INDICATED HOW TO FIX, THEY REFUSED TO USE SOME OF THE ROPE PROVIDED AND WE'RE NOT VERY NICE TO MY EMPLOYEES ONSITE AND MYSELF ON THE PHONE WHEN I QUESTIONED THE WORK COMPLETED. WILL NOT USE AGAIN UPDATE: HARLAN'S PROPOSAL STATES THAT THE CUSTOMER WILL HAVE EVERYTHING WE NEED TO HANG NET BACK UP - I HAVE THE INVOICE THAT INCLUDES 100 GALVANIZED SNAPS AND 3 ROLLS OF TWINE THAT WE'RE ALL SUPPOSE TO BE USED TO FIX THE NETTING. I AGREE HARLAN IS NOT IN THE FENCING BUSINESS BUT HE DID AGREE TO FIX THE FENCE AND I DID PROVIDE THE SUPPLIES NECESSARY HE JUST CHOSE NOT TO DO IT CORRECTLY AND FOR THAT HE RECEIVES AN "F" RATING.

Everything was fine until they got to one of the big trees in back of my house. They ended up dropping the trunk of the tree straight through my deck. It ripped about 7 boards straight away from the frame and knocked the frame down. Then they started cutting a couple other trees and proceed to trim my neighbor?s tree that they planted for privacy. That tree was 8 or 9 foot tall and now is about 4 foot tall. Upon them finishing the foreman told me they would be back the next day to correct the issues. Ten days go by and an invoice shows up in the mail. I called them to see when they were going to come fix the outstanding issues and the owner was a complete a******. He starts cursing me out when in all actuality he should have been cursing and/or firing one of his employees. It?s my deck that is messed up and my neighbor?s tree that is now a midget. I should be the one that?s p*****. I had no problem paying the full amount once the issues were corrected. The owner was not willing to reduce the amount to take care of the two issues. I?ve had each issue quoted by other contractors and it?s over $1,000 to fix the outstanding issues. Now he is threatening me that he is going to send me to collections. Overall the experience has sucked. I will never recommend this company or use them again.

Indiana Tree service were prompt in coming out and making their estimate and were here when promised to start work. The trimming was done in an excellent way and with the cleanup, you could not tell they were here except the way they trimmed everything. Awesome company. This is the 2nd time we have used them and we would highly recommend them.

After confirming what was to be done, the three men immediately began trimming the trees and cleaning up debris as they worked. They worked constantly and in a quick safe manner. At the end they raked and hauled the debris to the parked wood chipper. The clean up was fantastic! They even hauled a pile of old limbs/sticks that I had accumulated over time without hesitating. The shapes of the 4 trees looked perfectly and professionally done. It should be noted Mr. Harlon Clemons came the day before to give the estimate. With all the thunderstorms recently was not sure he would be able to send a crew so quickly....great response time for service!

We are very happy with the service, as usual. Robert came to do the estimate, answering my questions as we went along. He itemized it so we could choose to do all or some of the job. Jan called to go over the estimate with me, and scheduled the work. The team of 3 did the work today, which took 2-1/2 hours. First the foreman walked the property with me to confirm the plan. I asked him about the minor jobs (which we had thought of after the estimate) on the gum tree and evergreens , and he gave me a reasonable addition to the estimate. When they were cleaning up, we walked around again to confirm that they had done everything. They raked and mulched the large pile of clippings. Our trees look great, and the yard is undisturbed.

They are very reasonably priced. They are very knowledgeable about trees, and I am not. Their price was very reasonable. Most places quoted me $500.00. I really liked them.

This is the second time we've used them in the last 5 years. They did such good work that we called them again. It's one of those returns with happy results. They did what they said and a little more. They were more than willing to do a little extra that wasn't written up. They went beyond when I would point out other things and wouldn't charge me.

This is the second time we have had them to our house. The previous time was in '06. Both times the have done an excellent job. The total price of 4450 is for both jobs. They consult with us as they were complete the task to make sure it was to our satisfaction. They were very courteous, conscientious of our property, and cleaned up well. They went above and beyond what we had ordered by removing some extra dead wood we did not ask for. They are very accommodating. They have top of the line equipment and are very experienced. We plan on using them in future.

We had a large maple that fell into a power line and also destroyed a second, smaller tree. Indiana Tree came out, unbelievably, on the next day - and there had been a large power outage with many trees down. I was happily stunned, as I was expecting to wait several weeks. Three days later, when the ground had dried, they ground the stumps. Cleanup was perfect, they were great to work with and talk to, this company is excellent. They left an estimate in my door the morning after I called them, and returned that afternoon to do the work. It doesn't get any better than that.
