It was awesome. Well, the process of removing them actually sucked, but Dr. Kilberg was awesome in coming up with a treatment for my somewhat severe plantar warts that involved wrapping my foot in acid basically. He said it would probably take about 10 weeks of treatment, but I think we finished in 7 weeks. I've been wart free ever since. So much happier and glad I finally took care of the issue. He was a super nice and professional guy. Office always had early morning appointments and they were all really nice to work with as well.

Surgery sign in fast and efficient at Riverview hospital in Noblesville. Called in to prep for surgery in less than 5 minutes after reaching waiting room.  Surgical staff at Riverview assisting Dr. Schulman were friendly, compassionate and informative.  Dr. Schulman (Surgeon) and Dr. Swift (anesthesiologist) both spoke with me before the surgery and were able to modify meds after I shared experience from first surgery.  After surgery earlier in the year I cried while in recovery without realizing it.  This time, when I awoke, my mind felt relatively clear and I was ready to head for home.  Nice!  Surgery team followed up with card, Dr. Office followed up to check progress, Hospital contacted me for feedback on experience. Overall, if you have to do it - it was a very positive experience.

I was satisfied with the treatment, but I was told that my Insurance would pay for the orthotic shoe inserts. This was not the case. They said they called and got approval. The insurance denied the claim. | |Also, they said the inserts would take two weeks, It was over four weeks.

Katrina assisted Dr. Viselli and was very friendly and reassuring while preparing for the procedure. Dr. Viselli made certain that the patient was comfortable before beginning the actual procedure.  She accomplished the removal of the toe nail efficiently and with no pain whatsoever.  She was thorough in explaining the care of the site during recovery.  It is a very patient friendly atmosphere in the treatment room, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone suffering from foot problems.

I just went in because I needed a podiatrist, but I didn't look into them before. Then I saw they were on Angie's List while I was in the office. Dr. Karl is a good doctor. They were very professional, and they were all nice people. He didn't waste my time; he just got the job done. I would refer him to other people.

Doc said he could do surgery on my bunions.  (main bunion and "bunionette" - on my little toe side).
He could also do something with that other toe which appeared to have arthritis.
But in the meantime, I could try this pad which he gave me that wrapped around my toe (and was uncomfortable and cut off my circulation).
He spent about 10 minutes with me.
When I got my bill, it was for $67.00. (I had already paid a $40 co-pay).  This included a $10 fee for that pad thing that I never wore, which would've cost $2 at CVS.

Quite a hefty bill, plus the insult of charging me for that thing.
They didn't say it would cost anything extra.  No other provider that I visited for a 2nd opinion charged me anything for other pads they suggested I try.
I don't like unpleasant surprises, and when I called the billing department, they argued that usually the staff tells the patients that contraptions cost extra.
I will NEVER go back to this provider again.  A waste of time and money.

"[Member Name], I'm very sorry that you feel you were not treated well in our office. I'm more so disappointed that you did not make an attempt to clear this up with our office prior to airing these issues in a public forum. Although one can not please everyone, I believe that I answered all of your questions and provided you above average service during several visits to my office. If you would like to discuss any of this further I would appreciate you giving my office a call as I will not discuss your personal information in a public forum. Otherwise, I wish you good luck in the future. Sincerely, Scott Schulman, DPM"

I made an appointment with them in late January and had a toenail trimmed on my big toe on my left foot. Had never had this done before yet Dr. Karl Fulkert had no problem handling this and the procedure was straightforward and somewhat painless. He numbed the toe first.

Everything has been great.  Scheduling was easy, staff is super friendly, Dr. Vassili is very helpful and tries alternative types of therapy vs. straight into shots and/or surgery.

She began to lay out her plan for treatment, saying if it did not improve in two weeks she would try various other things that she described in detail. She prescribed a medication, gave me insoles and prescribed home physical therapy and treatment and told me to come back in two weeks. I tried everything and returned in two weeks. She then prescribed an orthopedic boot, told me how to use it and said they would call me in one week to see if it had improved. If it had not improved, her next step was to get an MRI. I liked the fact that she was honest with me and told me it was difficult to treat. I liked that she laid out a step by step plan of action.

The visit included 2 sets of x-rays, one set to try and isolate the problem and a second set to confirm the diagnosis, a brief discussion with the physician regarding the diagnosis and treatment options, and a trial "orthotic" to see if the proposed treatment would alleviate the pain. The jury is still out on the orthotic. The entire process was quick, friendly, and efficient. Communications were clear and consistent. The only fly in the ointment is the new patient application process which all offices conduct differently and which forces you to regurgitate the same lengthy medical history for every new practice. Come on Health Care, move your information technology into the 21st century!

My daughter was released from further appointments.  For the first 3 or so appointments, Dr. Schulman said that there was always the possibility of surgery.  But luckily, she followed his orders and we didn't have to go that route.  Dr. Schulman has been the family's podiatrist for many years.  I always recommend him and Indiana Podiatry Group to any one I hear needs a podiatrist.
Dr. Schulman has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have had.  When my daughter was just 7 years old, she saw him for a planter's wart.  He never spoke down to her and toke the best route for recovery for someone that age.
The staff has always been very pleasant and friendly.
If you need a podiatrist, GO THERE.

It turned out nothing was broken in my toe so there was not a lot of treatment. I really liked them and the doctor I saw was very nice. She looked so young, but she was professional. The office and staff were very nice. They got me in really quick.

I was certainly happy that she knew what it was right away, and that she tried the least invasive method first. She did have me purchase new sneakers, she told me what brand to buy as I have one foot that is a 1/2 inch longer than the other, so I wasn't running around to different stores. Definitely save me a lot of time and money.

I had torn a ligament in my foot & could barely walk with severe pain.  The Tipton office staff was fantasic!  Very professional and concerned, that they were able to set up an appt right away.  Dr Schulman is a miracle worker!  I was up and running around in no time.  When needed, my family will be his future patients.

She tried medicine, orthodics (three types), physical therapy and ran many tests to make certain exactly what was wrong. In the end I was left with surgery as the only answer. Now I have to decide if I want to have difficulty walking and have moderate pain for the rest of my life or if I want to be totally off my feet for a month after surgery. Dr Visilli is pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone.

The Dr told me my options.  I would have appreciated the Dr finding out the price of the potential options.  She did not know and did not suggest that she would have someone call me with estimated prices.  She was very knowledgeable and extremely nice.

The doctors and the staff are fine. With regard to availability, there are no problems. The office environment is fine. With regard to punctuality, they are very good. Their communication is good, and the effectiveness of their treatment is very good. The billing and administration is okay. I would definitely recommend them and continue to use them in the future.
