Description of Work: No service was ever provided. Never got my money back. Very difficult to contact. Contact phone number provided on Angie's list deal was not service providers but was a relatives. No direct way to contact provider. Not happy with Angie's list quality.

Description of Work: I ordered a Big Deal to have my gutters cleaned for $79 which seemed like a good deal. Initially everything was great--they were responsive about scheduling a visit, came when they said they would. I was all set to use them again and recommend them strongly. | |However, during ensuing rain storms, I noticed a downspout was backing up. I contacted them and asked if they could come and checked. The response was that they had snaked it. They would come, but for an additional charge and the problem was in the way the gutters were hung. | |I contacted the company who installed the gutters. They went up and looked at it and then showed me photographs of the blocked down spout. | |I tried contacting Holstein both through the Angie's list mail service and through the email on their card. No response. | |I will, of course, now be working with another company to clear out the downspout (and check the gutters). It's too bad--a better job in the first place or a suitable response once I contacted them after checking with the gutter installers--would have me choosing to be a long term customer. | |I don't know how to rate the cost--$79 for a good job is a very reasonable price. $79 for the work I received is not.

Description of Work: Company never showed up to perform service. Returned one of my wife's calls while she was waiting for them and said they were running late and would she like to reschedule. She said "no" and Kurt said they would be out that afternoon. Never showed nor returned any phone calls by us or Angies List representative Eric. Eric recommended other companies and H&M Cleaning scheduled us for Saturday and showed up. I would like a full refund.

Description of Work: Purchased a special for 4 hours of cleaning. Although cleaners were late (supposed to arrive 12:30-3:30; I called at 4:30, they arrived at 5:30) they were very professional and sweet. Appreciated them still coming on the day we scheduled even though they worked an extra long day. Nothing special, but I would probably hire again. They did a great job cleaning our lights, missed a few things in other places.

+ -1 moreKurt Holstein and his crew were very polite and nice. They were quick, less than an hour, and did a good job on the gutters. Had a small issue re: a bend in one where it appears someone had stepped on the gutter and bent it out. I called immediately after noticing it and they turned right around and returned and fixed it like new. Kurt was very apologetic and said if there was any problem with it to let him know and they would return and replace that part of the gutter. It has worked just fine and we've had enough rain since then to tell. I will hire them again to do the gutters in the fall.

+ 0 moreThe previous reviews oversold the service, especially about the pressure washing of the gutters. I called and left a message, asking if Kurt could come out a little earlier, since I had a home inspector stopping by. I knew it was a long shot, but I never got a call back, saying yes or no. Kurt and his helper showed up on time and cleaned out the uncovered gutters and brushed off the covered ones. The job took 30-45 minutes. After they left, I noticed they left debris on the roof on the north side of the house, which will undoubtably fall back on top of the covered gutters, instead of sweeping them off. Also, I pointed out the dirty gutters, but he said to take a hose to them. Price was good, but the previous reviews led to me to believe I would get the same level of service.

+ -1 moreOverall- great job and nice guys. We would definitely use them again. Couple scheduling issues (had one of their guys fall off a ladder at other job site so had to reschedule) and were a bit late the next day, but really since we didnt need to be there for the work it wasnt a big deal at all. Honest fair work and were true to there "Deal" offer-- $95 regardless of size of house. This is at least $50-$75 less than the competition. I have not gotten up on roof to inspect but no longer see grass growing out of top gutters-- until the next big storm (when the real quality test will be) I highly recommend these guys.

+ -1 moreThe job they did was great. There was a storm that came through in the middle of the job and they patiently waited it out and then continued to complete the job. It had been probably four years since the gutters were last cleaned and they did not charge anything additional for the extra work. Very satisfied with their work and will certainly use them again!

+ 1 moreAfter cleaning my gutters, Kurt and his team pressure washed the part of the roof and all the gutters. They look nearly new!! Very good job, and didn't even charge me extra for the work. These guys are awesome and I will definitely use them again after the fall for gutter cleaning, and after the winter to pressure wash siding and walk ways.

+ 0 moreI called and scheduled them to come out and they were actually available the same day but I had them come a couple days later so I could be home. He was very professional and actually very quiet. I hardly knew they were outside and it only took them about 45min from the time of arrival to get done. He also used a pressure washer to clean out the gutters and make them look like new! I will definitely hire them next time and would recommend them to anyone!
