Went great. Wallpaper removed in no time and drywall repaired as requested.

Painters did an excellent job. Kitchen looks amazing. The company came back to help plane the cabinets because they were rubbing. Great experience; would hire again!

Bob came to the house and told us what he could do for us and what the price would be for the services we requested, a few weeks later we called and said we was ready to start. Bob set us up for that Monday . The painters (Kieth and Chris) knew their job, they were careful with things that needed moved or covered. they cleaned up at the end of each work day and was very respectful to my wife and I. The prep work was done well and the painting was excellent at the end of the job everything was put back in its place and cleaned up. Chris and Keith both made us feel very comfortable.

We had the front of the house painted which needed a re-coat after we did a remodel that involved the house front. It was not a rush for us we just wanted it to be worked-in before winter. Fine has painted for us before, both interior and exterior, and we have been satisfied. Mr. Fine came to do the quote for this latest job and because of the good work before, and I trust Mr. Fine for a reasonable quote, I accepted without doing the recommended multiple quoting. The work this time, as before, was well done and they also work pretty quickly. The painting was a combination of brush or roller depending upon location. The people who pained were polite and knowledgeable. One of the painters was on an interior painting group at our house 4 or 5 years ago, so they have some painters with longevity.

They did a great job. They made all repairs needed prior to painting. Steve, our painter, was wonderful to work with. He helped me choose the exact matches to our existing colors. He was friendly and efficient. Fine's quote was the best of four different company's which were contacted. They scheduled our work at the exact time we requested, and they responded to all my question promptly. I would highly recommend Fine to anyone needing their services.

We solicited quotes from 5 companies and went with Fine Painting for the following reasons: 1) competitive, clear pricing; 2) availability of an in-house finish carpenter to replace rotted boards; 3) lead-safe prep; 4) thorough clean-up; and 5) recommend by our picky contractor. They definitely lived up to our expectations and we were extremely happy with the quality of the work. It took them a little longer than we expected due to weather and vacations, but they were also being very thorough in prepping the house. (It would have been easy to go fast and do a bad job--they stuck with it even though it proved more labor intensive than they expected.) The crew was professional and polite--they seem to take pride in their work and work well together. They came back quickly to touch up a spot, too, and asked me to let them know if I found anything else. I have zero complaints. We strongly recommend Fine Painting!

The team from Fine Painting did an fantastic job! I found Fine Painting through Angie's list, saw the excellent reviews and noted that they were close to our home. I called and within just a couple of days Bob Fine came by to give me a quote. We were hoping that the job could be done fairly quickly as we were having new flooring put in our basement the following week and realized the walls looked bad and should be painted as well. Mr. Fine was able to schedule the painting to be done within a week. His team of 3 guys came and completed the entire job (including scraping off peeling paint in bathroom, 2 coats of paint throughout bathroom, basement and stairway walls) in one day. I was pleasantly surprised they were able to do this. There was not a speck of paint left on the floors and they cleaned up thoroughly. The walls look beautiful! I would not hesitate to have Fine Painting come back again and I highly recommend this company.

Excellent service

Did a nice job painting the textured ceiling. There was a spot on ceiling due to a splash that didn't cover completely so they gave that area a second coat with sealer. Spot is gone and it looks great. Professional and punctual. I will use them again when needed.

We reached out to Fine Painting for a quote in April of this year. They sent someone out to look at the property and give us a quote. The gentleman came out (I apologize for forgetting the name) was very helpful and asked good questions about what we did and didn't want to have painted and what colors (more options than we had thought at first, like whether or not to paint the garage door or the entry doors to the garage). A bid was prepared and sent within a day or two by e-mail. We had some questions and got those answered by e-mail quickly (also asked for and received their certificate of insurance). Everything about this process was efficient, but the e-mails were never signed by a person, so we didn't really know who we were dealing with. We accepted the proposal at the end of May. It was a bit vague at that point when they might be coming out to do the work, so we called toward the end of June to see when the work could be done. They estimated 3-4 weeks before a spot was available, but we didn't hear from them so we called again at the end of July and got the same timeframe. I mentioned that was what we had been told previously and got a call back saying that they could fit us in the following week. They had someone come out to go over the areas that would be done and to power wash all the surfaces. The next day, a team came out to do all the caulking, masking, and painting. They worked impressively quickly and were done the same day. They were professional during the work and cleaned up very well. The work was very well done and we didn't have any issues with it. Later in the week, I got a call from the owner to see how the work had gone. I told him that we were very happy with it and he answered a couple final questions for me.

Very well. Only difficulty was the constant rain, then sun, then rain. It was frustrating; however when the job was complete, we were very pleased. The sides look great now. In addition, we asked them to patch a couple places on the peak of another side of house, which they did and it too looks great now.

Amazing attention to details and good people!

Neal Fine from Fine Painting came out to the house, took some information, and discussed various options with me to meet our budget. Within 2 days I had several estimates for the various options we discussed. Because of the age of the house (1920s) we also discussed the lead remediation and what that entailed. Once I had signed one of the estimates we were put on the schedule. The weather didn't cooperate and it took about 6 weeks before they were able to get to us. However, once the crew was at the house they worked incredibly hard, even working through and around the rain, to ensure the job got done in a timely manner. A couple of days the crew was here from around 8am to dark (8-9pm). They moved fast but did great work and at the end of each day they tidied up. They were meticulous in caulking around the trim, windows, etc.. Not only was I impressed with the crew but I had neighbors commenting on how hard working they were as well. All in all I would consider Fine Painting for any other painting work I need done on this old house and I would definitely recommend them.

Painters arrived when they said they would and did a fabulous job painting a guest bedroom. They also added crown molding. Results are smashing. I have used Fine Painting for years and find all of the painters to be highly skilled and professional.

The estimate was reasonable and done in a professional and exacting manner. The painting was done within a reasonable amount of time after agreed upon. The painters were friendly, professional and cleanup was perfect. The painting itself was great.

We have lived in our house for 23 years. We have only used Fine Painting because of the quality of their work. We trust that they will do an exceptional job and they have never let us down. One of our bathrooms is red and that color requires a skilled painter to do a good job. Ours is perfect. After the job was finished, I told the painter that this is why we keep coming back.

Finished project was done to perfection...beyond my most optimistic expectations. Every board (to include the roof overhang) was saturated with bleach and left to set for 36 hours. Then any scraping of old paint or repair surface work was done. Finally, the porch was meticulously painted inside and out (not a drop got on the screens). Front door looks stunning....amazingly so. As long as Fine Painting is in business, I will NEVER hire anyone else.

They did an excellent job, in particular of matching the texturing of the ceiling. Really indistinguishable from the original ceiling. They were also very meticulous in cleaning up after the work was done.

Punctual, professional, easy & fun crew! They went the extra mile and helped me reposition my planters in front of my beautiful newly painted door.......until all was looking good!
