We purchased a new Subaru from them and had a wonderful experience. They offer a complimentary visit after purchase with a dedicated employee to go over questions you will have after driving the car for a couple weeks. For us seniors all the wonderful new features can be overwhelming so this was amazingly helpful! Also they provided a better price than an other local dealer!

I traded in my car I bought from them so they gave me a good price. The car I bought is what they call a demonstrator. Absolutely the best experience,, the car I bought 20 years ago the same salesman was there and sold me this one. The owner called to thank me I can't think of any dealership in Indiana where you would get a personal phone call from the owner, he thanked me for 17 years of me taking my older car for service. It was really pleasing to hear that.

I was in charge of 15 new car purchases and 7 pre-owned cars for family and friends in my lifetime. I worked as a sales representative for major Subaru, Volkswagon and Nissan dealership on 96th Street.I know the automotive industry inside and out. Recently, I was shopping for a pre-owned car for my brother and I inquired about over 60 cars in a multi-state search including dealerships and from private sellers. I used Carfax as a basic tool to try and narrow it down to no more than two previous owners. I was not interested in any car coming from auction (unless the car was coming out of lease), none with structure damages under the body frame from accident and trying to find a previous owner that rigorously maintained their car according to up to date required factory maintenance schedule at an authorized service department for the life of the car. It is so important to contact the previous owners’ authorized service department with the VIN number and verify all the maintenance was actually done. For example, according to Carfax, one previous owner went to an authorized Honda dealer for 23 visits, but only for oil changes and no major services. Four years ago when I was shopping for a pre-owned car, I searched through 80 cars both from dealerships and private sellers and found a Honda Accord from a Chicago dealership that had a original owner that kept up with all of the manufacturer’s scheduled maintenance and she is the only one out of 80 who replaced the timing belt. Sadly, neither salesman or service department mentioned anything about doing the reconditioning because they did not do it. The reason the car was in such good shape was due to the previous owner’s diligence in maintaining the vehicle at authorized Honda service department. I wanted a second opinion, so I took the car to another authorized Honda dealership and asked for 150 points certified inspection and it passed only because of the previous owner. I really lucked out in finding a perfect car without the reconditioning. This time, I was getting very discouraged after so many inquiries and not finding anything meeting my standards and worth considering. After I talked to Mr. Falcone, he assigned me his best salesman, Mr. John Franks. He called me promptly and he was well prepared showed a high level of professionalism. He was already sitting in the car he was going to recommend to me, the Subaru Legacy. He thoroughly described the exterior and interior was in immaculate condition. He had the Carfax report and voluntarily explained everything done by the service department to recondition the vehicle in order to provide a high quality, reliable car to enjoy and last for a long time at a fair price. I contacted the Falcone service department with the VIN number to verify the accuracy of information. I was very surprised to find out they really did replace major parts to recondition the vehicle. I dealt with many salesman on the phone and in person and have never met any that I liked and felt were honest until I met John Franks. He is very honest, knowledgeable, has lots of experience and is very kind. He is the only one who voluntarily disclosed and emphasized the importance of reconditioning the vehicle. From now on I will always ask what the dealership has done to recondition the vehicle. I cannot forgive my last dealership I worked at on 96th Street. I sold a $20,000 pre-owned vehicle to a customer and the transmission blew out within a week. The vehicle was a total lemon. The customer called the dealership many times trying to reach my managers and all the managers refused to take the calls. They were heartless, dishonest and did not show any remorse. It is very important to find a dealership that is honest like Falcone automotive who reconditions the vehicle before selling to the customer. I found out that Falcone service department reconditioning the Subaru Legacy replaced major parts, timing belt and fuel pump (leaking) as well as a few other minor things. Replacing a timing belt is costly and is only needed every 100,000 miles. It is very important maintenance and protects the expensive engine. From my two pre-owned car experiences and inquiring from dealerships and private owners, instead of replacing the timing belt, almost all previous owner’s like to replace the vehicle and pass on the great cost to the new owner. If it is a wiser and frugal owner they would rather pay the money and take care of all required scheduled maintenance, including replacing the timing belt in order to keep the car as long as possible. That is why there are so few older model (1997-2000) Honda Accord and Toyota Camry left on the road.  They used to be everywhere. Neither the previous or next owner replaced the timing belt causing these engines to blow up.  Worse yet, dealerships that take the vehicles as a trade-in also don't replace the timing belts, even though they knew this would cause the engine to blow up in the future.  Falcone service department is very honest and replaces the timing belt and looks out for the long term interest of their customers and preventing the engine blowing up. Sometimes a customer is unreasonable and irresponsible. They neglect and poorly maintain their car and when it begins having problems and needs expensive repairs, they blame the service department for overcharging them. The service department always gives the option to fix the problem or not. Carmax claims to recondition their vehicles and then charges a high premium and offers a lousy 30 day warranty. They do not use genuine auto parts and do not have a certified auto technician for each maker. I found out from Angie’s List member complaints about their inferior service department. When it comes time for my sister to replace her vehicle, I will work with Mr. John Franks and I have confidence that Mr. Falcone will look after my sister’s car deal. Although the Subaru Legacy was a good quality, pre-owned car from Falcone, it was a bit out of my brother’s budget. Ten days later I had not found a car to meet my high standards. I called back to make an offer on the Subaru Legacy and it was sold. Mr. Franks told me that anytime a car gets posted online, it sells immediately. Any time I found a car from a private seller, I would call him to get help with the Carfax information. I called him many times and he always called me back promptly and would thoroughly go over all the Carfax information with me even though he is very busy. He is a very compassionate man who truly enjoys helping people. He is keeping in touch with me and keeping an eye on any fresh trade in the future. I have been to countless dealerships in my lifetime and this is the most beautiful and heartwarming place I have ever been because of these extraordinary human beings. They are the most kind, compassionate, and trustworthy people I have ever worked with. Falcone automotive may not be the fanciest place, but because of the wonderful, selfless people it truly shines. Thanks to Shelby Isner, Steve Halloran, John Franks, Big Hearted Bob Falcone plus his son and daughter, his hardworking auto technicians and all the wonderful people at the dealership I still need to get to know. This dealership is truly a gem in the auto industry. I highly recommend this outstanding and honest dealership to everyone to become a loyal customer and build a beautiful friendship and trust like us to last a very long time. I really appreciate their kindness from the bottom of my heart to look after my sister’s car and well-being.
