Better than expected.

I had no problems and everything worked out just fine. They did a good job quickly and without any mess.

They are good. We were pleased with the price. My husband was home when they came in. They arrived when they said they would arrive. They laid things out and everything was very clean when they left. They got the job done well. They were friendly and they told my husband that in a couple of years we might want to think about doing something additional work because our house is 25 years old. They were not pushy or anything like that, but just gave us information.

They were very fast. They came out and did the work quickly. On top of that, they had a better price than several other companies I looked into. We have used them to clean the chimney since we bought the house in 1977 and we have always been happy.

Very well. They were all very professional, helpful, and courteous. Each employee ensured that our house was clean during the cleaning and did an excellent job explaining what they were doing. Will definitely use them again!!

Did a fairly good job, but another company's personnel complained that they found the fireplace opening was dirty for them to install fireplace insert. Maybe the company did not understand that need, even though I explained it to service man. Also the service man urged me to do chimney crack repair, even though I made it clear that I was having a stainless steel tubing installed.

It turned out just fine. It has been about 2 years since we used them because the following year they had raised their prices drastically.

They are wonderful. I continued using them for 30 years because they know what they are doing. They are honest, punctual, dependable, and thorough.

It was the first time that I have had really major work done in the house. I was really impressed by how they let me know what was going on every step of the way and how it would progress. They kept me in the loop all the time. They were very professional. My first interaction was when they came to do the estimate, they came to the door, told me what they needed to do, what they would be doing and how long it would take for me to hear back from them. I would use them in the future.

They are fantastic. They are well priced. They are very friendly and very timely and responsive. They come in and do the job and clean up. They are very clean. It is all the things you would hope for from a chimney person.

It all went well. They did good work at a good price.

I was very impressed with the work.

The job took about half a day. Because of showers, they started one afternoon and finished the next morning. The covered the new cement to minimize the impact of the rain. They checked the cement to verify that it had not be damaged by the rain. They left the area relatively clean.

I was satisfied with the cleaning and inspections of other chimneys. The representative arrived within the time committed to and our living space was protected with a drop cloth to minimize dust. I discussed our repair needs with the gentleman who did the cleaning and reviewed the photos that he took. He indicated that a quote would be provided by email within a few days. I called to follow-up twice within the two-week period after the cleaning. On both occasions, I was told that a quote would be forthcoming and that I would receive a call when it was sent to make sure that I received it. Additionally, I was assured that it wouldn't be an issue to schedule the work, but that sometimes the quotes take a little time as there is one individual who prepares them. It has now been over a month and I've not yet received a quote or a phone call.

The guy did a nice job of cleaning and informing me of what was going on. They were an hour late and didn't call to notify me. I had to call the office and find out when they were going to be there. Also, I had them do a quote on some other work. It's been a month and I've still not heard from them. The work they did was great, but slightly disappointed in their customer service so far.

He is pretty reasonably priced. He has been in business for a long time. He is very nice, neat, and efficient. He is professional. He has brought a few assistants with him in the past and they are always professional as well. He is honest and will let you know if you do not need your chimney cleaned.

Ely Stokes were professional and got the job done quickly. I will use them again whenever I need the job done again. They were easy, I called them up and they gave me a price quote and that was it, there was no pressure.

Ely Stokes is the only company to to have cleaned my chimneys since I have moved into this house. I have never been disappointed, and I am always impressed with their service and honesty.

My exisiting damper was leaking and cold air drafts in the family room were a constant problem during past winters. I decided to see if Ely Stokes could help. They told me I had 2 alternatives: 1. Seal around the exisitng damper and no longer use the fireplace (that was unacceptable); or 2. Install a top damper which would seal the opening and thereby stop the drafts, but I could still use the fireplace. With the top damper installed, the old damper had to remain open, but the drafts of cold air essentially slowed down or were greatly reduced (I'll know more later this year in December and January). The install went very well and did not take more than an hour. There was a chain installed inside of the side of the fireplace which is used to open and close the top damper providing easier access than the old damper. The installer ran about 20 minutes late due to traffic congestion. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and installation and will use Ely Stokes again if needed.

Services went very well. They arrived on time and were very professional. They answered all my questions and did a great job with the clean up. I was very happy that they were able to get everything done that day.

Excellent. The guys were timely, exceptionally efficient, thorough. Worked from my 1st story roof with scaffold. Everything on my house, drive, and street was tarp covered during the work, and when they left there no mess and no indication that masonry work had been done.
