Dryer Vent Solution

Went as one would expect in this particular instance.

He came when he said he would, and performed the job well. Other companies we called were giving us dates as much as 3 weeks out to come and clean the dryer vent. We were very happy to have someone come out on short notice and on the weekend.

Purchased a deal on Angie's List for the above cost. John arrived between the times given. He was professional, friendly and efficient. Although I have other issues with the vent that need to be addressed he was able to get air flow through the existing vent. He made sure my dryer was hooked up properly and functional. Very pleased.

John called to see if he could arrive early, which was great. He was very friendly, even to my dog. He cleaned out the vent and the dryer itself. In total it took about an hour. My drying time is now a third of the time it was!

It went very well. Very professional and the gentleman removed the vent hose, as he said it was not code. Told him when we moved in a year and a half ago, a heating and air conditioning company installed the hose he removed. He said it was definitely a fire hazard. Glad he made me aware and installed the proper hose. He charged me an additional charge for the new hose.1

The owner John Manley was very professional in every way.  Besides thoroughly cleaning the vent and removing the lint clogs, he replaced the inferior hose (behind the dryer and in the attic) with up-to-date code-required metal hose, and replaced the missing outside vent cover with a no-pest unit.  He patiently explained everything to me and showed me the improvements. This project was well worth the cost ($375). I would use this company again and will recommend them to my family and friends.

Solved the dryer problem which turned out to not be a dryer problem but a dryer vent problem. Last company that cleaned it placed the roof outlet upside down which impeded airflow and negatively affected dryer performance.

John was very professional and went above and beyond with his service. Competitors wanted to charge extra since my dryer exhaust pipe runs about 22 feet. Dryer Vent Solution didn't have that charge. One flat fee.

I was able to schedule the appointment at a convenient time, & the technician arrived right on time. He did a good job, but I'm not sure he was as thorough as my previous vendor who is no longer in business. He may have just gone about the process in a different manner, as my dryer is working more efficiently. I received a senior discount.

John called about half an hour before my appointment time to advise he would be 15 minutes late. I appreciated the heads-up. He arrived when he said he would. He was able to determine the vent wasn't clogged, but had come off. The vent tubing I had was plastic and not up to code. He installed a new one, cleaned out the vent inside the dryer, vacuumed up the loose lint, and put the dryer back where it belonged. It only took about half an hour.

John called in the morning and did the work late afternoon. Great service! He did an excellent job from the dryer to where it vents out the side of the house. And he did an excellent job of cleaning the lint that blew out on the lawn. I recommend him if you need your dryer vent cleaned, and I will use his services again.

Bottom line--our 20+ year old dryer works like new. It had been taking multiple cycles to dry clothes. Mr. Manley showed up when he said he would. He took the time to educate us about the type of dryer vent we have. He went up in the attic to examine to vent system. Took about 30 minutes to get it clean. He even brought down from the roof vent the lint plug that had been blocking the air flow. He left no mess at all. He was pleasant, polite, and professional. Next time we need it cleaned, we'll call Dryer Vent Solutions.

I selected this provider based on Angie's List reviews. I called John in the morning and he gave me the last appointment of the same day. He promised to call me when he was on his way, which he did. He arrived punctually and got right to work. We had a recent roof replacement and John discovered they installed a screen on the roof vent, which is against code and defies common sense. He removed the screen, cleared the clog from the roof and from the laundry room. He used an air hose to clean the inside of the dryer and it runs great again. I will definitely use him again and would refer him to my neighbors.
