Dryer Vent Solution

Bottom line--our 20+ year old dryer works like new. It had been taking multiple cycles to dry clothes. Mr. Manley showed up when he said he would. He took the time to educate us about the type of dryer vent we have. He went up in the attic to examine to vent system. Took about 30 minutes to get it clean. He even brought down from the roof vent the lint plug that had been blocking the air flow. He left no mess at all. He was pleasant, polite, and professional. Next time we need it cleaned, we'll call Dryer Vent Solutions.

I selected this provider based on Angie's List reviews. I called John in the morning and he gave me the last appointment of the same day. He promised to call me when he was on his way, which he did. He arrived punctually and got right to work. We had a recent roof replacement and John discovered they installed a screen on the roof vent, which is against code and defies common sense. He removed the screen, cleared the clog from the roof and from the laundry room. He used an air hose to clean the inside of the dryer and it runs great again. I will definitely use him again and would refer him to my neighbors.

The dryer is not located near an exterior wall. As a result, the vent tubing was 15-20 feet to the outside. He removed several bird nests, one live bird, and one dead bird. When finished, he placed some wire over the vent to prevent further bird access. Mr. Manley arranged the service around our schedule and arrived promptly.

Removal of old vent, drywall cuts for placement of metal pipe and vent cover and restoration of drywall sections. Cleaned up and had friendly and professional attitude.

Cost was $300 and worth it. Cleaned and installed a professional vent that appears will last.

This is disappointing because I needed this work to be done quickly. It's hard to believe a company with so many good reviews would act like this, but they did. My advice is to find a more reliable company.

He returned my phone call in a timely manner, and also phoned to tell me when he would arrive at our home. Before doing the job, Mr. Manley took the time to explain what was going on with the dryer vent--specifically the installation, the national and international code for dryer vents, and the interior/exterior mechanism. I appreciated this. When he had finished, he reviewed all the work--did a walk through--and also showed me the parts that had to be replaced. My family and I are very pleased with Dryer Vent Solution.

Great. I called at 9 am and due to a cancellation was able to have the work done same day at 11:30 am. He was great to work with, showed up on time (about 5 minutes early), explained what he needed to do to access the vent, told me the cost up front, got to work, and was done within 40 minutes.

I was very impressed from the initial phone inquiry to the end of the job. I called John b/c my other provider went to part-time and was booked until October. It was quite a surprise when John told me he could come out the next morning (early!) to perform the work. He was pleasant, courteous, professional on the phone and in person. He was also on time (actually, a little early). Our dryer vents to the roof, so he got out his ladder and did a thorough cleaning. In addition, he explained what he was cleaning and how our system vents to the outside which, for me, was interesting and educational. I appreciate knowing exactly what a provider does as opposed to someone who just comes out and does the work and leaves. The entire process took maybe 45 mn or so. Competitively priced, I recommend him without reservation.

I needed my dryer vent cleaned and my condo management recommended them. They came out right away and did what they was suppose to do. I am satisfied with the work they did.

I called this provider to have our dryer vent cleaned out due to their reviews. I got the recording which did not bother me initially as I realize it's necessary when they are out on jobs. But to have the recording tell me the box was full and I could not leave a message was very disturbing. That makes me believe they do not pick up messages in a timely fashion. So we could not use them.

It went well. We have done several loads of laundry since and the dryer is now drying the clothes much quicker. He was professional and personable to deal with, had the tools he needed to do the job, and did not make a mess. I recommend his service.

It went well, had birds in my dryer vent and he cleaned out the nests, cleaned the vent, and replaced the vent with a pest free vent to keep the birds out in the future. Dryer is running much better now.

My dryer simply would not dry - it would take 6 hours to dry 4 towels. When attempting to use my dryer it would get hot and extremely humid. I called Dryer Vent Solution on a Wednesday and they scheduled me for Friday. He arrived exactly on time. He did an evaluation and determined that my vent was indeed clogged and that part of the issue was the animal guard on my roof vent. After he finished, he showed me what he removed from my dryer vent. I thought the cost was very reasonable, especially since he had to go up on my roof (weather was starting to turn crappy). Very nice, and professional. He didn't seem phased by the four fur kids who were howling to meet him. Would definitely recommend Dryer Vent Solution. I plan on contacting them again next year, for an annual cleaning.

This is a smaller operation, John and his son. John booked the appointment and was running early which worked great for me. He is extremely pleasant. He quickly and efficiently cleaned my dryer vent and then came in the house and cleaned the dryer as well. He noted that my outside vent was cover by a wide mesh which was constanly clogging up and causing my vent to not empty completely. He offered to replace it with a better vent cover. When, I say offered, I mean it. He did not do a sales job, just brought it up. It was just a few $ more and he did a great job. I would have hime back anytime. Since all he does is dryer vents, he isn't trying to sell you anything else like whole house duct cleaning as some other providers seem to. In fact, my furnace company is always trying to get me to spend $700 to get my house ducts cleaned. I don't like that sort of thing and didn't want it when I just wanted my dryer vent cleaned. John did that. Excellent service for a fair price.

I called John to come out and offer an estimate on replacing our current dryer vent with a different configuration, as our current vent has several turns and routinely clogs. John responded to my inquiry and was able to come out the next day to give us an estimate. He showed up early and after inspecting our vent configuration John said it was fine; he felt our vent cover was the issue and said a different type of vent cover would reduce the lint buildup substantially. I asked how much it would cost and when could he do it, he said he could do it right now for $70. He was done in 15 minutes. Afterwards he showed me the old vent cover and how it was already starting to clog, even though I had just cleaned the vent the prior weekend. I really appreciate his honesty, he could have easily told me the entire vent needed replacing, which would have cost several hundred dollars but gave me a solution that was cost effective and more importantly appropriate. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Provider was pleasant to talk with over the phone when scheduling the appointment. Day of appointment - called to let me know he was running about an hour late - due to an earlier job taking longer than expected. Provider arrived as promised and dryer vent got cleaned. I asked him to replace the white plastic dryer hose and it was replaced with Delflecto dryer duct hose. I had constant trouble with the traditional round coiled vent running from the back of my dryer and John came our next morning after I called him to evaluate what I needed. He went to two different stores to get exactly what would work for my dryer location & installed a different vent configuration that works fabulously for us. I would definitely use this company again.
