Crawlspace Doctor

Not sure what happened to this company seeing the previous reviews in 2022 and 2021 but as of today it's been almost a month since the gentleman came out to give me an estimate. He said he would email me the estimate and repeated my email. As of today, I have not heard a word from him or the company. He was in the crawlspace for about 10 minutes tops. He came out and was more about telling me what he couldn't and wouldn't do than plan a strategy to help fix my issues.

Matt and crew were unbelievably kind, courteous, and easy to work with. All work was completed in a timely manner during the workday. While I only ever spoke with Matt on the phone, I felt confident in the type of business he ran. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent! Matt was great to work with. He really listened to my concerns (person in house with mold illness) and put together a plan for mold remediation in a way that will be a permanent fix and was extremely cost effective. He was upfront about scope, outcomes and pricing.

Professional, punctual, honest, dependable. We had repairs done on a house we were selling and we were so satisfied with their work , we are going to hire them to do work on the house we just purchased. Highly recommended!

The repair went well. Communication and appointments were timely. The leak was in a finished area of the basement and ended up being a bigger issue than expected, but still came in below the revised estimate. I would use Crawlspace Doctor again, and recommend to others.

Thanks gosh they didn't have to remove a large decorative flowering bush The house is standing taller by a 1/2"/ where it needed to be ! Our house was leaning in the kitchen + breakfast room 25 year warranty !!

I was closing on a residential property I was selling in less than a week and needed some foundation work done in my crawlspace. I called several companies and had no luck. Matt from Crawlspace Doctor called me the next business day and was at the property within 10 minutes. I received an immediate quote and a promise that he would do his best to complete the work before closing. Not only did he keep his promise, but he completed the work days ahead of schedule, under budget, and in 4 inches of snow. I cannot thank this guy enough. His team’s work ethic and customer service skills are top notch and of high quality. I would definitely recommend his services and work with this company again!

The job went very well! I worked with Matt over the course of several months before we decided to move on the project. We ended up scheduling to have the sump pump replaced before the holiday weekend. Ernest was there on-time and quickly replaced the unit. He answered all of my 20 questions and was very pleasant. I would hire Matt again in a second!

We were very happy with the results - it looked/smelled like a new space, and now our family feels safer knowing that the mold has been properly treated by The Crawlspace Doctor. We highly recommend crawlspace doctor!! We had our crawlspace recently fixed. We had several holes leaking water, a bit of mold and poor insulation. Curtis and his crew did a great job fixing the problems. They were very professional, efficient, came at the time we had agreed and most importantly left everything clean after finishing the job. We could have not been any happier!! Matt, the owner, inspected everything and made sure it was all done correctly. An added bonus, after the crawlspace issues were repaired our air in the first floor no longer smells musty!! This is a trustworthy company that will stand by it’s work. Great! I highly recommend Crawlspace Doctor. Our crawlspace entry door had rusted and failed to close completely...so over the course of a couple of years, chipmunks and mice (who knows what else!) managed to enter and tear up all the insulation on the ducts and sidewalls, store nuts, nest in and wreck the space. In addition, last year we had a water leak from a failed pressure tank that led to extremely high humidity and some mold growth. Our crawlspace is not easy to get to...access is through a hatch on the deck, then through a door cut in the foundation. The Crawlspace Doctor crew (Curtis, Rick and Nick) removed all the ruined insulation, vermin debris, old pressure tank and old plastic on day one. They also cleaned all the wood surfaces and poured the concrete pads for the 4 steel post jacks for the new floor beam to be installed. Over the next two days they built and installed the new beam to shore up our "bouncy" dining room floor, re-insulated all the header boxes, sealed and encapsulated the entire space, removed the rusted door frame and installed a new door, dug out around the entry door and installed a galvanized steel entry well under the deck hatch, They cleaned up and hauled away all the debris (about a dozen 95-gallon sized bags). Then, two days after the job was done, I received a call from the company owner, Matt, asking if he could please come by and inspect the job. He came this morning and inspected everything. I highly recommend them...they delivered professional quality at a fair price; and really took care of a major problem area for us.

Matt was very responsive and communicated when they would be there to start job and when they would be done with job. Matt came back to make sure his crew did everything to his standards and found a few small things that were not up to his standards and honestly addressed them. Matt was very honest and easy to work and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the job. We would not hesitate to use Matt and his crew again.

Matt sent out Curtis and Rick to complete the job and they were amazing. Very nice and thorough! Took a lot of time explaining what they were doing each step and answered all questions.

Matt at Crawlspace Doctors did not show up for our appointment on 5/24/19. I was still willing to give them a second chance, so he offered to set up an appointment early the following week. I never heard from him again. We hired another provider instead. I would not hire Crawlspace Doctor again.

Matt’s Crawlspace Doctor crews were very skilled, hard-working, and efficient. They knew their business and made what looked impossible come together like a dream. I was impressed by knowledgeable and kind Ernest, who also jacked up the house to replace a baseplate, and crew leaders Tyler and Curtis, and others who made this nightmare process look so easy. They were very professional, tireless, and took pride in their work. Steve and Jason of Airability, the mold contractors, were very helpful and patient with our MANY questions and concerns throughout the process.

After having bad experiences with a couple contractors many, many years ago, we are extra cautious when hiring anyone. Matt, Jim, and the entire crew did an absolutely fantastic job. They went above and beyond the work order and did the work to perfection. I would hire them again, and highly recommend them, you will not be sorry.

There was a crack in my wall and had Matt come in and look in the crawl space to see if there was anything that needed to be fixed. Matt was AWESOME came out and inspected everything and he was very honest and determined there was nothing wrong in the crawl space related to the structure. I WILL hire him if I need be in the future!

Had our crawlspace encapsulated, drainage dug out and routed to the sump pit and a new sump pump installed. Workers were quick and the work looks good. Matt was very responsive and friendly.

Very professional and fixed the problem. They checked my other pump as well to confirm everything was working as expected.

I contacted 3 companies for an estimate. Matt responded promptly, came out to inspect and emailed an estimate. The estimate had the tasks outlined with the price for each one and he said they could be spaced out. I was very afraid there were foundation problems causing the dips and bumps in the floor. Matt assured me the foundation was fine and it was the floor. Well, he was absolutely right! After the carpet was peeled back, someone had built little ramps up to different flooring levels. Ernest and crew peeled back all the layers to the subfloor and added plywood so the floors will be even and sturdy. Also had the beams and floor joists cleaned as there was mold treated during the home inspection. I am very happy with the results! Everyone was nice and professional. I will be hiring them again to encapsulate the crawl space.
