They did a good job.

Really good , they worked hard and fast and did a great job , I was very happy with the outcome. A big worry off of my plate !

Called the Dr for a second opinion on high humidity.  Gave me some estimates and opinions on possible cause.  Have not taken any action to date as I wanted to see if humidity stayed high when the rain stopped.  We very professional, congenial, and did not charge for the visit.  Very thankful for his input.

I purposely have waited to write this review so I could assess the job that was done and so far, I am completely satisfied with the work. And we have had enough rain to make an educated decision. The crew came on time each day and notified me that they were there to begin work. Also told me what they were hoping to accomplish that day. Very hard workers and so professional and nice. I enjoyed them a lot. They had to come into the house several times to measure the floors when doing the floor joists, and always took off their boots, which was a real pain for them, and wiped up any dirt or dust. They cleaned up each nite when finished and I had no mess \when job was completed.  The owner stopped by daily, and sometime brought parts/lumber, etc, they  needed. Matt (owner) is laid back and funny, but he demands good work and the guys seem to like and respect him. I choose this company because the work was in line with the line items suggested on other estimates I had received, and in the middle price range.  I didn't want the cheapest, (I believe you get what you pay for), but also couldn't afford the most expensive, either.

I am very satisfied with the work performed for the price I paid. I would recommend Dr. Crawlspace for your crawlspace problems.

Working with Matt and his team was EXCELLENT! We recently purchased a new home that had a damp crawl space with mold. We heard about Matt through our realtor as well as AdvantaClean (the company that provided mold remediation - They are also OUTSTANDING!). From the beginning, it was easy to work with Matt. He has an easy going personality that takes the stress out of having a crawlspace that is need of repair. He also was able to educate my husband and I on the situation in our crawl space and then worked to help us get it fixed. Matt was very easy to get a hold of and communicated with us often to help arrange a time to get the work completed (we had many things happening all at once with this repair). Matt and his crew got 'er done. We were very happy with the quality, timeliness, and  cost of the job. His quote beat his nearest competitor by $2300 for the same requirements. He beat a third competitor by 10,000 dollars. Granted the highest competitor wanted to do a lot more work. We are in a sell situation on the property so it was important to control costs while addressing the sagging floor issue we had in the entry way caused by water damage. I called Matt to have him give me an estimate on fixing my sinking slab under my dettached garage.  He gave me some advice and recommended getting rid of the cause before worrying about fixing the problem.  I need to do some trenching to get water away from the slab and that will stop the problem.  Once that is done, his thought was "why bother."  It will be expensive to fix and once the water is dealt with, it wont sink anymore.  It is not a cause for structural concern, so leave it alone, just stop the water form getting under the garage.
Matt is a great, honest guy and if I need any services that he can offer in the future, I will call him without hesitation.

Matt showed up on time, provided credible answers to all my questions, and provided a proposal with cost estimate for a solution to my foundation problem. There was no hard sell and the proposed solution appeared to be sound. Although the cost of the proposed solution was high, the solution approach appeared to be the best permanent solution to my problem compared to the others that I reviewed. This was one of four proposals that I obtained in order to compare and evaluate. For reasons not related to any of the companies that submitted proposals, I elected not to go ahead with the repair.

A sagging ranch, this young man made such an impression from the bid to the full completion. In 2015, it's hard to find professional, personable and HONEST. This company, and Matt Deiters personally, was both. I have no hesitation to say get a quote. Anything he missed, but needed, was added with no extra charge. There was no up-selling, and respect was apparent and consistent. A big job, the shoring up of a family home was easy when entrusted to this company and gentleman.

Matt and crew were very professional and personable.  The job came in at budget and as described. His proposal was much more geared to our needs and more than half the price of competitor proposals. Matt is the man!!  He kept trying till the leak was fixed.  He didn't give up as two other providers did.  They wanted to work around the actual problem but he kept at it, not even charging us at times, till he found it and fixed it completely.  He demonstrated extreme knowledge and experience.  Others came, guessed, did something? charged a thousand dollars or more and proposed an elaborate work around the problem system as a back up and the problem remained, they didn't care.   Matt was there when he said he would be, was present and on the job with his helper, and worked hard even in bad weather.  We couldn't be happier, and would highly recommend him to anyone!  He is genuine and honest, a rare find these days.

Our master bedroom and bath are over a crawlspace (rest of house is over a basement) and we noticed that the floors and rooms seemed colder than they used to; we could feel cold air coming out of the crawlspace opening in our HVAC room in the basement.  Got two bids.  While the old insulation was obviously falling off the crawlspace walls, Matt found two holes (where the crawlspace wall had shifted away from the basement foundation wall) and noted that one of the concrete footers (pylon) had begun to erode.  He proposed the repairs and encapsulating the crawlspace; he also went outside and found that two of the rain gutter drains were probably causing some water leakage into the crawlspace.  He and his team completed the work in one day; were most respectful of our home (e.g., protected the flooring, careful not to touch or damage anything); and, did a great job.

Matt was friendly and professional and didn't try to oversell us on things we just didn't

need.  The other company that we obtained a bid from were twice as much for encapsulation, didn't find the holes, didn't check out the exterior drains, proposed a secondary sup-pump and humidifier, both of which we don't need.

Our master bedroom and bath are much warmer now. 

There were some initial problems.  The access to our crawl spaces was too small to get full sheets of insulation in, so the workmen had to cut them into smaller pieces.  With our permission, the men had already installed the heavy encapsulation sheet on the walls, but then they put the pieces of insulation over the top.  None of us realized that it wouldn't look very good because it had to be pieced.  We told Matt we weren't happy, and he bent over backwards to make it right.  He ended up installing another layer of encapsulation over the top of the insulation, which made it visually nice looking.  His attitude throughout was superb - he wanted us to be satisfied.  And we are very pleased with the result.

Matt and two workers arrived at 8 am, a little earlier than promised,
which was great.  They removed debris and old insulation, taking care to
not disturb wires, pipes or drains.  They put down a plastic vapor barrier on
the dirt and spray foamed the walls.  The job was finished about noon. 
It looks clean and I feel that the space is protected against weather
and critters.  They were efficient,  cleaned up after themselves well
and were pleasant to deal with.
