They had to come back the next day and the apologized, fixing it again. They even called the next day to make sure it was ok. They did a real good job. They were here within a reasonable time. They cleaned up their mess. They were just a really good company.

Even knowing that another company advised up we had to replace our furnace, the Butler MK guys came in and checked our furnace and advised us that we didn't need to buy a new furnace from them. They were honest enough not to capitalize on the fear state created by the first company. Instead they advised us to simply continue with routine tune-ups each fall and to install CO2 detectors in the event of a future leak. It's been almost a year and we haven't had any problems. The crew also helped us select a humidifier unit that helps our son who has asthma issues, secondarily it has the benefit of allowing us to set the thermostat a few degrees cooler without it feeling cooler. They found a unit that was affordable, very easy to maintain, and met all of our son's needs. They advised us against a more expensive set up that we had considered saying it was overkill. REALLY appreciate their honesty.

I think they are great. They show up on time, they are not salesmen, they are repairmen. They have never tried to push anything on me, they come and fix the problem and that's that.

5/22/2000- Bm-k installed hard start kit and test out. 5/15/2001- Spring maintenance- "complete annual clean and check up on AC system is up and operating normally." 8/1/07- "system froze up, thawed out and tested. Added a hard start kit to fire up the compressor, system is up and cooling 20 degrees over the coil. 8/3/07- A/C freezing up again found a blower belt slipping (tightened and checked at a coil)cleaned blower checked pressures found they were low; liquid line is seaping; tightened all all and put all back together and unit shut off; checked T stat still cooling; found both fuses blown in disconnect (replaced 2-30 amps); found compressor bleeding off checked pressure which was ok; head pressure builds up and drops off. 6/2/08- Found bad 30 amp fuse disconnect replaced fuse check all and they were ok 8/18/08- Noise and stated that it was a bad compressor. After all of these services which is not including the other companies that our home warranty company sent out BM-K stated that we had neglected the unit at that it was our fault that the compressor is bad. We have had numerous maintenance on this compressor and now all of a sudden we need a new unit and it was our fault. They sent this report to our home warranty company and they are now refusing to pay for the replacement unit. Neither companies had spoke with us about this decision nor had they asked us questions about anything.

Great. I was very happy to have my air conditioner fixed within 2 hours of calling them on a Sunday evening, and for what I thought was a very reasonable price.

They always show up on time to check the systems. They are very courteous when they are here working. They always clean up everything when they are done.

I have had very good luck with the company. I have been with them for about 20 years. They are very professional. They call and make an appointment for the services and they do arrive when they say that they will.

It went very well. I have an oil furnace and water got into my oil pan so they had to keep running it out until there was no water in the oil, a low enough amount of water that it would not ruin the furnace. They had to totally replaced everything that is inside the furnace due to water damage.

They are very honest and fair in pricing. They arrived within 3 hours of my initial phone call. The salesmen never try to sell you anything that you don't need.

The work went well. I knew they would be very busy due to the extreme heat and humidity. However, they were able to fit me into their schedule in the late afternoon. Air conditioner works fine! I have used this company in the past, and will do so in the future!

Excellent! The first company, Air Tech, improperly insulated the exterior connections for our new air conditioner. In addition to identifying potential hazards and code violations, Butler helped us correct venting of the furnace and rerouted pipes for the an old gas meter, which was also out of current code standards. Jeremy, Butler's technician, spent nearly 10 hours making sure all of the work was completed satisfactorily. He did so even though several unexpected issues came up in the process of completing the order. I would be proud to refer Butler to anyone! The owner, Gabe, is gracious and helpful in a way that restores this consumer's confidence in the HVAC industry. There *are* good companies out there and Butler ranks #1 in our book! Butler is the epitome of excellent customer service in a day when most companies try to get by with the least amount of effort.

The furnace stopped working on the house we are fixing up to move in to during 0 degree temperatures and with a severe snow storm on the way. The folks from Butler M-K came out and diagnosed the problem promptly. They were instructed to make the repair as inexpensively as possible as we are replacing the furnace within the next few weeks (which they were informed that we planned to use them for; they put the heating and cooling system in the home we currently reside in). They replaced the blower and the furnace once again works. HOWEVER, we received the bill and it is significantly higher than anticipated. A competing quote we had received for the blower motor (from the person who actually ordered it for Butler M-K) was nearly $300 less than they charged for the motor. They have undoubtedly lost our business for any future work, including the upcoming heating and cooling system replacement at this location.

Butler heating had installed another humidifier system for us at a previous residence and did a great job approx 3 years ago. So, when I needed the same work done again I first called them to schedule the work. Sam told me they would get to me in about 3 weeks (since it wasn't emergency work), but it actually took 6 weeks before the work was done (the first appointment was missed). The installer (Dave) was on time, friendly, professional and did a great job. Even gave me instructions on how to operate the system correctly and where the shut-off valve was in case of emergency. We did have an invoice dispute that was settled. The invoice Sam worked up was a flat rate for installation and I was told the job would take 3-4 hours and understood that they work on an hourly basis (that is what angie's list states). They also did the same work 3 years prior for us and we paid per hour. The original invoice was for $295 for 90 minutes of work. I was re-invoiced for a reasonable price.

They were here on time after calling ahead and thoroughly explained to me what the problem was with my furnace. The work was done efficiently and in a timely manner, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Mike calls ahead so you know when he is on his way. He is neat and leaves the area clean. In this furnace, the filters were so high up in the return duct that I could not reach them. As a result, I was not changing them as often as I should. When I complained to Mike about the dust he suggested that he could re-configure the filter placement so I could keep it changed. Neither one of us thought it would be that much work, but he worked solid and it was much harder to do than it was on another furnace he redid for me. It was worth it to keep the filters changed and the dust out of the house.
