John thoroughly cleaned everything after he was done. He did a great job and really went above and beyond.

On April 23, 2008, I flipped on the AC unit because of our allergy issues here. Everything seemed to come on but only room temperature air came in the vents. I was hoping for a simple repair, and called Broad Ripple Heating and Air, whom I've used for a couple of decades. No such luck. The very nice gentleman (Kevin, I believe ) who came out told me that the unit needed to be replaced since ALL the freon was gone, possibly due to a small leak that might have become larger in the recent earthquake. I could opt instead to replace all the freon at something ridiculous like $75 a pound for a total cost of nearly a thousand bucks. No thanks. I agreed to have a Lennox 13 Seer unit installed at a cost of $1975, after a bit of negotiation. I think the price is pretty high, but did not have the option of comparing at that time. Apparently, these units still use freon which will be phased out next year (and then freon will go up exponentially in price for those of us who will still need it), but it was the cheapest option I could get at the time. My rental properties are also on contract with this company, so I was hoping the price would be more reasonable. I'm always happy with the technicians, as I was with Kevin, and the gentleman who came shortly after him to install the new unit, which is why I stay with this company. Besides, Larry Howald is a great guy (no idea if he remembers me but he took care of an issue for me maybe twenty years ago, and I'm one of those loyal customers if you treat me right). I did REALLY appreciate the quick one-day installation, as this was a major issue. That is one advantage of larger companies, in many instances.

It went fine. The guy was nice and they seemed competent. They arrived on time and they were very good.

We did have a service contract with them. They told us we would need to buy a new air conditioner, but after getting a second opinion we found out we in fact, did not. We are no longer with them. The price is for the cost of the furnace they installed.

They show up automatically. They are very clean, neat and professional. They are very prompt to get back to you and punctual when they are coming. They put on booties over their shoes when they come in so they don't track in any dirt.

Excellent. I contacted the company Saturday, said it wasn't an emergency, but they were able to send someone out Monday morning. The technician determined that the reason the furnace was leaking when the air conditioner was on was that the drain line for the water had clogged. They did not see any other problems caused by the flooding. Cost was $79 for the visit + $29 to clean out the line (less $20 with Angie's List coupon). The visit was much shorter than I expected, and the technicians didn't complain when I asked them to wait while I searched for the AL coupon.

Fabulous! They were here on a Saturday within 1.5 hours of our call to Service Experts (who then contacted Village Plumbing). Our gas water heater was damaged by flooding. Shaun Corey came out, checked that it wasn't working, suggested replacing it and replaced it within two hours with a 40 gallon Bradford White gas water heater for a total of $917, which included a $79 service agreement. Unfortunately, we forgot to give them the $30 Angie's List coupon that we'd printed up. He set the heater on blocks at our request to reduce the chance of it being damaged by low level flooding, as this is the second time we've had to replace the heater in 5 years. Shaun was courteous, and got right to work. We left him here, working, when we left for the airport, and he made sure to leave everything tidy (well, not that he went around cleaning our house, but his work area was spotless). He left through the garage and remembered to lower the garage door on leaving. He will be contacting us to give us suggestions for drainage to that area to reduce the likelihood of flooding in the near future. Another company had charged us $208 (less $30 Angie's List coupon) to look at the water heater, press the buttons to try to light it, tell us it was broken, and suggest we purchase a Bradford White water heater for $1289 (which dropped to $1160 if we purchased the service agreement, but you add another $99 to get the water heater to your home). The total, with the first visit, would've been $1467 for the heater and service agreement compared to $917 for what appears to be the same water heater with Village Plumbing.

Excellent. Terry, the plummer/technician was very professional and courteous. Was able to come earlier than originally planned which worked out better for me.

They were prompt. They did the work.

Everything went fine. We use them for our regular service, so we called them and they sent a sales rep out and discussed our options. They gave us an estimate and it was right on.

A+ company! This is a company that I have used a few times already and will continue to use in the future. They do a tremendous job. Everyone that I have worked with is very knowledgeable and very honest. They are very detailed and even corrected some work done by prior companies because it was not up to par. They have always done a fantastic job. They are definitely a top notch company.

When they checked my central air unit a year after installation the guy that came out told me he was going to clean it, but when I checked it later they were still leafs in the unit at the bottom under the fan. The other ones that have came to my house I would say have done a good job.

No problems. I had to cancel my first appointment and was afraid I might have to wait a long time to reschedule, but was able to do that within a week. There have been some changes at Sylvester's in the last few years and I was afraid the service might not be as good as it was, but so far, so good.

They always call ahead of time. We've gone back to them and our experience has been quite good.

He showed me how to use a plunger to clear the drain instead of him using the snake. This saved me some extra money and he did a good job.

The job went fine. He just went into the basement and got right to work. He had to add an elbow to the outside pipes so that it would feed into the downspout out there. Then he had to drill a hole through the basement wall to the outside so that the portable water pump could work properly. When he finished that he came into the kitchen and switched out the kitchen faucet. When he came back out to replace the faulty faucet he tried to adjust it to see if he could make it actually turn off when you flipped the switch, but it wouldn't work.

They came on a Sunday. They were very professional and worked quickly.

Pleased with the professionalism, competent. Will continue to use them.

Technician was very thorough and answered all my questions. Found and old condenser that had seen better days and replaced it. Everything else checked out OK. This is the 3 year that we have had maintenance agreement with Broad Ripple Heating & Air Conditioning and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.

Village Plumbing was the only company to return our call on Sunday evening. They were also the first to call on Monday morning with an available time to do the work which is why we gave them the job. Steve was very thorough about making sure that the drain was cleared. He ran the water in the sink to fill it up and then pulled the drain plug. The sink drained and there were no more leaks. He also gave us estimates for plumbing work in our unfinished bathroom and for replacing a pressure tank in the basement. He called the next day to offer a discount if both estimated jobs could be done on the same day. This is the second time I have used this company. Price is after a $65 Angie's List coupon was applied which was a nice bonus.

Scheduled an appointment on 5/12 for 5/19 at 4pm. Technician showed up just before 4 pm. They called several times to confirm and remind me. They called when the technician was on his way. The technician was very knowledgeable and gave me some tips to keep the A/C unit working properly. The appointment only lasted a little over an hour.

They installed some the new furnace as well as some new vents. They did an excellent job! I have used Broad Ripple Heating and Air for the past 10 years and will continue to use them for all of my HVAC needs.

Great! I'm remodeling the kitchen and had to shut the water off to the entire house to cap the water lines to the sink. But I could not get the the caps to solder completely. So on a Sunday night at no weekend charge, Village Plumbers came and installed new valves. And the Angie's List $25 coupon was very nice.

David Ward, their rep came by, on time, and looked at our system, and gave us our options, including prices. His presentation about new efficiency standards, and what we could expect from the systems was easy to understand and very professional. I called with our decision, and their employees, Allen and Shawn arrived on time, clean cut pros for sure, and did an outstanding job. Allen talked me through all the new details, and the things we needed to do to keep it running a long time. All questions were answered thoroughly and politely. The price was what we were quoted, to the dollar.

They were great. They did excellent work. They cleaned up everything and the price was a little steep. My husband thought it was o.k. They were nice gentlemen.
