We originally arranged for someone to come in the afternoon, but we received a call that the work could be done in the morning, which is much better for us with our schedules. The job went well and the clean-up was very good. We have had Village Plumbing do work for us twice before and we have been pleased all three times.

It was pretty much totally unsatisfactory. The guy came out and inspected everything. I never had any follow-up no phone call, email, or estimate.

I like George, however all of their workers are also good. George was very nice and accommodating. They seemed to care to help me fix my problem rather than to make money from me.

They did a good job, they were timely, efficient and I would use them again.

Our 6-year-old water heater wasn't delivering enough hot water to fill my garden tub or take a nice, long hot shower. John came out, checked out the device and replaced both upper and lower thermostats. He also took a look at a leaky kitchen faucet, which needs either new parts or replaced. He checked out costs for replacing the unit because the parts were so expensive, but my husband likes the faucet style we have now. We'll go with the expensive replacement route to keep the style, but John went above and beyond to give us the choice. He also offered me a larger coupon than the one I had offered him, saving me an additional $40 on the call. He easily could have taken the lower coupon and I'd have been none the wiser. If that's not enough, my husband trailed after him like a puppy, which could have inspired John to add a bit to the bill as an aggravation fee. You don't find this kind of service just anywhere!

Call early for service appointment, there's a long waiting line! The price is per year which includes two visits.

Steve arrived within a half hour and got to work. It was cold work in our garage on a January night. He described the best and worst case scenarios (turning off the gas for several hours if a pipe needed to be cut and moved), and called for a second person to help him, who also arrived quickly. Luckily everything went smoothly as he replaced our 11 year old water heater. It was installed within 10 days of that anniversary! Gave us good advice about our water softener as well. Good job with explaining and with clean up. We were in good hands.

Technician was on time, very careful to keep furnace area clean, asked if I had any questions and answered my questions to my satisfaction. He also recommended the use of a carbon monoxide detector due to age of my furnace.

Jeff McLary sat down for an hour or more and explained what the benefits were about having a TRANE system compared to what we already had. Now our house is at a comfortable level in all rooms. He was out on site a couple of times overseeing and apologized for the errors of his technicians.

They were courteous and responsive on the phone and scheduled a visit at a convenient time for us (without a long wait). Steve arrived on time and was very friendly and helpful. He removed our sink and replaced it with one that we had bought from a home improvement store. The opening for the sink was not exactly standard, so he had to perform some extra work to make the new sink fit. He did all of this expertly and with a great attitude. Actually, he was very careful to make it fit exactly, and the result looks beautiful. The new sink and faucet look and work great. We are very pleased with his work.

Plumber accidentally broke a second valve and told me I had to pay part of the cost for replacement. The broken valve was replaced as well as the one I originally contracted for. I then phoned the owner who OKed that no charge would be made for the valve that the plumber broke. This was an adventure that worked out all right in the end.

Fine. Appt was scheduled easily. I got a reminder call the day before and a call before the technician arrived. He arrived on time and was cordial and effective. There were no problems with the furnace though it is beyond its expected life.

Provided quotation with alternatives. Had previously used them to install another furnace and had been pleased with the work. This time completed project within about 4 hours. Everything works well, the old furnace was broken down and taken away and everything was left clean and tidy. Overall experience was professional and efficient and we are very pleased with the result. We would certainly recommend and use them again.

They were very accommodating to what you wanted to have done. It was very tricky for them to do the duct work the way that I wanted done, and they were able to work with me. I had two other companies that came to look at the work who wouldn't even do it because of how difficult it was.

Shawn showed up on time and did high quality work. When the new supply valves interfered with the installation of tile, he came back immediately to put in a stub so the tile could be installed with the smallest possible hole in the tile. Excellent work. Great company to work with. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Steve is really nice. He was out the next morning after I called! Their price included installing, and other companies wanted about $200 more! They brought it up to code, which it wasn't from before. He cleaned up after words, including my stairs!

The work was very good. The water is very good.

I told the tech to reset toilets, I would call another plumber to fix clog. Later Jake calls very upset raising his voice to me wanting a competent plumber to clear this clog. We have no luck finding a plumber at this point, I am at the vet hospital with an emergency. Later I leave my dinner party to go there that evening with a larger 80' snake with a hired helper to go in the crawl space open clean out & snake PVC pipe. About 1 hour later we pull out a huge ball of hair, now the drain clears, no problem, we are done and I saved over $900 a few days later I am called by the dispatcher, telling me about how he was cussed out by Jake, that is why he pulled his tech leaving the 2nd toilet unfinished. I apologized for Jakes words, however I expressed how they left me in a big bind & how I did their work & how I felt they were trying to rip me off as did Jake. I don't think I got my Angie's discount! I typed this up once already, submitted it, never showed up, trying once again!

They were great. We called and scheduled an appointment the next day. They were late and because of that, waived the diagnostic fee. In addition, they honored their Angie's List coupon.

Terry came to the house on Saturday and pulled out a large rootball from the drain. The drain cleared and worked fine for that day. The next day, the drain was clogged again. I called Village Plumbing on Monday and Terry came back on Tuesday and re-cleaned the drain (for free!). The line has been unclogged now for nearly a month. While not the cheapest company around, I was impressed that they were willing to come back again for free to make sure they did the job correctly. Thanks, Terry!

We got estimates from 3 companies, and Village Plumbing came in the highest. We went with one of the others, which also could install the new water heater sooner. We have had good experiences with Village Plumbing in the past, and would certainly call them again. They are friendly, accessible (you get to talk to a person, not a machine!), and gave us helpful information about water heaters.
