Went well from start to finish. no surprises. Work very well done.

Bill came out later that day. Bill not only fixed the leak but searched our roof for other damaged areas and fixed them as well. We also had blockage in one of downspouts we couldn't get unclogged. Although it was unrelated to the job he came out for, he removed the downspout and dislodged a stuck tennis ball. Bill goes above and beyond whats expected. When he makes repairs on the roof you can be assured it will be fixed.

I had an area in front of house which kept getting water in after severe rainstorms. Mr. Greenwood came out and found the problem. He installed new flashing to the area. Since he was up on the roof, he did a walk of the entire roof (steep areas also) and noticed 2 of the sewer boot caps were worn. He replaced them. I felt he knew what he was doing. I trusted his advice and would use him again in the future.

I have used Bill on several occasions to replace blown off shingles. He is very professional, always manages to take care of it within a couple of days of calling.

Very good to deal with. He's a friend of another highly recommended roofer here on Angies List. Bill was recommended to me by that roofer because of the type of work required. We had a small problem in the beginning. I was in the shower when he arrived and missed the appointment. Bill rescheduled with me and everything was fine. He came out, identified some problem areas that might be the cause of the water in the basement. He seemed really knowledgeable so I hired him. His schedule is pretty busy so he couldn't give me an exact time when he could come out but I told him my schedule and he matched up with it perfectly. Bill is a great guy to work with. I will hire him again without hesitation.

Bill is an excellent resource. He came out the same day I called and accomplished a lot in a short period of time. I will definitely use his services in the future.

Bill was great. I called on a Friday night and he was at my house on Monday morning. He and his son quickly repaired the roof leak for a very reasonable price. It was leaking around a plumbing pipe and he fixed it as well as checked the roof for any other problems. He replaced a shingle that he found missing and changed the light bulbs in my spotlights for the original price quoted.

Pleased with service. Showed up on time, finished the same day. Reasonably priced. Pleasure to deal with.

Called for repair and was returned call a few days later. He came out and repaired the roof while we were at work. We are assuming that the work is good but with it being on the roof..hard to see! Would use again just for the prompt attention and professionalism.

Bill removed several damaged boards in the overhang of the house, between the roof and siding, and some below the siding, near the ground, then replaced them with new ones that he cut to fit and painted. After he finished, it looked as good as new. Bill is experienced in various areas of home maintenance so we have also used him for chimney and roof repairs.

Bill made a major contibution to identifying our roof problem and alleviating the immediate situation. He didn't charge us for the service call because I intended to hire him to fix the roof. I sent him a thank-you gift later after the builder performed the fix-it.

Called Bill to have him remove snow and ice from a section of my roof that had caused an ice dam and a leak. Bill came out within just a few hours, removed snow and ice from my roof, and suggested when the weather warmed up to replace some underlayment shingles and flashing to prevent the leak from happening again. I have used Bill before for minor roof repairs and he is very timely, does great work, and is reasonably priced. He would always be my first choice for any roof repair.

Everything went very well. He is retired so he has to schedule the work in between what he is doing in his own life.

We had a leak in our roof that was damaging interior walls. Two other roofing / chimney experts tried hard to find the leak over a period of six months, but were unable to do so in spite of nearly $900 in charges. When I called Bill Greenwood, he came out the same day, climbed up on the roof, found the leak ( a cracked shingle on the ridge) and repaired it - all in about 30 minutes. We haven't had a problem with it since then. Throughout the experience, Bill was very professional, knowledgeable, and effective. I would be pleased to use his services again if the occasion arises.

He was quick to call to schedule the repairs once the temp was in the 40s - took the better part of the day - he even recast my gutters to imrpove their drainage pitch - would use him again in a minute!

Bill is very professional, courteous and responsive. He provided an estimate and performed the work on our roof very quickly for a reasonable price. Bill has repaired shingles or stopped leaks in different areas of our roof on three occasions and has provided great service each time. I highly recommend his service to friends in our neighborhood.

He was great! He came out the day I called to give an estimate, returned the next day to do the work. I appreciated his insight in to what he thought the real source of the problem was (had some water spots in interior bedroom ceilings) and his going to extra mile to inspect the entire roof and identify a couple other potential problem spots. I feel like our roof has been well inspected and ready to last for a while. He wasn't afraid to check out the whole roof while he was up there (we have a pretty steep one). Highly recommend this guy for roof repairs. He won't be trying to sell you a new roof if you don't need one like the other guys I talked to. He really knows his business as he and his son do the actual work.

Mr. Greenwood inspected the roof for the leak one day and returned the following day to repair it. I scheduled 4 estimates because I thought we needed a new roof. 3 estimates said our roof would last another 3-5 years and 1 said we needed a new roof. Mr. Greenwood also told me that one of our fans was not vented to the outside and not up to code so he repaired that as well. I waited until the next heavy rain to see if the repair corrected the leak and it did. We will call Mr. Greenwood when we need a rew roof in 3-5 years.

He did a nice job and did a few extras too... like nailing down some loose shingles on other areas of the roof and cleaning out part of one gutter that was full.

This is the second time I have used Mr. Greenwood. He is very honest, profesisonal and straightforward on identifying the problem and what needs to be done. Very reasonable and timely. Highly recommend.
