The gentleman who came to our house were very polite, professional, courteous and clean. In fact, when the head workman saw our new puppy (and her pulling like crazy on her leash), he came over and offered some really fantastic tips on training her. It was so nice of him, and the tips worked! The service was done well, and they cleaned up after themselves extraordinarily... not a wood chip to be found anywhere. The price was very competitive to other estimate I received. This is a good, honest and knowledgeable company. Would definitely call them again if the need arises.

He was prompt and told me I did not have the borer on my trees.

We have had Bartlett do these treatments for several years. The treatment to suppress anthracnose (fungus) on the leaves has worked great and the leaves no longer die off in the middle of the summer. The soil prescription fertilizer works well and all our trees and shrubs are very healthy with lots of new growth. This treatment is injected into the ground around the trees and shrubs once per year. Also the once a year treatment to our spruce trees has been effective and they no longer have bagworms.

I have a flowering tree that is starting to die. A patient referred me to this company. I called and left my name and we played telephone tag for many attempts. They finally touched base with me and we promised to come out. They never called showed up to give an estimate. A month later, I called them to try and set up another appointment. They again, did not show up. It seems that there is a scheduleing issue within the company.

They couldn't come do the estimate for several weeks after I called. They were prompt the day of. I received recommendations on how to handle the work and an estimate of the cost that was comparable (if on the high end) to other estimates I received, promptly, both via email and in the mail. They were very professional.

The price was reasonable other than planting a tree. They were fine and nothing was different. The job was okay. They were slow in getting back to us, but they did a good job once they did.

Mike from Bartlett's was wonderful to work with. About a year prior to the service date he came out and suggested options to help one of our struggling trees as well as suggesting ideas to help some of the other trees in our yard. He is very a very knowledgeable arborist and never put any pressure on us to commit to services. He came back out again this spring and gave us a quote on pruning services that was very detailed. He wasn't the cheapest quote that I received but he did work with us on the price and gave us a discount that wasn't due to come out for another week. I was very specific that I didn't want any more removed than was absolutely necessary and they did just that. Their clean up was excellent as I couldn't even tell that they had been there. Bartlett's was worth every penny we spent. I have confidence that they actually care about the trees they are working on and aren't just hacking off limbs randomly and in a hurry to get to the next job. I highly recommend their services.

They came on the day they sais they would. I was not here to watch them work, but when I did return home all was done and cleaned up. There was no mess and all the damaged limbs had been removed.

We were very satisfied. They estimated what the job would be and they discussed what they'd do before hand and followed through exactly how they said. They made good recommendations for us. The clean up was okay, there were still areas that I needed to go back and clean up some of the left over mulch and tree bark, but all in all it was okay. We found them on Angie's List. We weren't there all day so we don't know if they worked the entire day or took a break.

The services were performed to our complete satisfaction. The trees look great and they left the surrounding property in great condition upon completing the services.

They are very thorough and have improved the health of some trees (eg hawthornes) which were not controlled by another company. Outstanding service by knowledgable staff!

I think that they were good. They gave me an estimate first and then did the work. Everything looks fine and they cleaned up after themselves.

We have used Bartlett exclusively for our tree company for the last 4-5 years. I was told by an arborist in Broad Ripple that my (big) maple trees in my front yard had a disease and probably couldn't be saved. Mike Seybert with Bartlett looked at my trees and told me that they did not have this disease and with some soil analysis and treatment that the tree would be fine. He was right!!! We listened to what he had to say and followed his direction and the trees are much healthier today and doing fine. I would not use any other tree company other than Bartlett!

They were very professional and good at educating us on what needed to be done. When we called about our evergreens, they explained how our pine trees had a mite problem and they sprayed to correct this. They always followup and inspect everything thoroughly. Very helpful!

We have had an association with Bartlett Tree Experts, 91121 Company for several years. We are exceedingly happy with them. They are professional. They are on time. The person we deal with from the company contacts us every year and sends out an estimate of the things they have done for us before. He will then come out to the property if we need some additional work done. He gets out here pretty soon when we call him to discuss the work we want him to do. We are just very, very happy with them. We would continue to use them in the future.

Overall- We could not be happier. I contacted Mike Seybert for an estimate. I had Bartlett do work for us a couple years ago, and went through Angie's List at that time to make my decision. For this job, I contacted two other Angie's List businesses, and got quotes from them, to see how Bartlett compared with prices. Bartlett was about 15% less than the other two estimates. The part that impresses me the most is, the responsiveness and professionalism from Bartlett. The job that I requested was completed to my satisfaction, on time, and within budget. Overall, could not be more pleased.

I originally hired them three years ago to deal with some insect infestation in my landscaping. I've used them for a maintenance contract for fertilizing and pest control in my landscape plants and also for trimming my trees. I have been fairly happy with the service. They do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it. They are prompt and they always send me a written report of what they found when their arborists come out to inspect. They talk about insect infestation. It is kind of a premium service but I pay for it. They are a national chain and if I scrounged around and found a local guy, I could probably get it done cheaper. It is just convenient to have them out.

They have done a great job. We have been pleased. They found our problem. They did some trimming that was done nicely.

Bartlett had been recommended to me by my lawn care provider. I knew some of my trees had scale and I wanted that treated as part of a comprehensive fertilization and insect/disease control program. Bartlett was very prompt in sending someone out to the house. They sent and emailed a detailed estimate. The only reason I did not go with Bartlett was because it was the most expensive of 3 estimates from highly recommended companies.

They did a fine job. They look good.

I have had them do work for me every few years removing trees that were dead or taking care of storm damage to the trees. The team they send out always does an excelent job and are very professional. They are a great group to work with, my thanks to Rick and his employes.

They came and we had no problem with them. They cleaned up the brush and made sure the place was in good order. They did what they said they were going to and the price seemed pretty reasonable.

We have several large ash trees around our house. Another company suggested that we take one out that was dying. The 4 other ash and 3 other trees needed trimming to clear dead branches and clear branches away from the house. It took 1/2 day to trim 6 trees with a bucket truck and 2 more days to remove a 90 foot ash near the driveway and garage. I really liked the worker who answered any questions and let me know what they would be doing each day. They also ended up removing another smaller dying tree along the driveway. They did a great job cleaning up debris and I felt like they were very careful considering where the tree was located--near the house and driveway. My only complaint was that they didn't call to tell me the start date, so I was mildly surprised to see them, but they knew what was to be done and didn't need me to be there. I would definitely call them again to deal with trimming and removal of large trees.

Bartlett should NOT be used by anyone as they are totally unprofessional. I had expected that a national firm would be "above" other similar companies, but was wrong. Bartlett decided thru their local manager, Rick Carter, and sale rep, Michael Seybert, that our account presented a "perceived" (their words) potential future legal issue and cancelled our account and future work via an e-mail, not even calling to discuss. We paid all invoices promptly and Bartlett had been taking care of our home with the prior owners for (8) years. The basic issue revolved around a pool problem and pesticides or other chemicals causing our water to be replaced and pool to be cleaned, an expense we did not expect to occur. I called to discuss with Mike on 12/2/10, thinking their foliage spray "may" have contributed to this issue. I told Mike that I did not know who or what for sure may have caused the problem, even stating that the lawn treatment company or others could have contributed. Mike stated unequivocally that Bartlett had nothing to do with it, but IF they did would certainly stand behind their work and "help" with the costs we incurred to clean the pool. I had just been sent a quote by Bartlett on a spider mites problem and told Mike that I was ready to proceed, but that I wanted the pool to be covered (an extra cost per Mike) at least until I was more comfortable with the pool and its problems, as I had not had a pool before and need to understand it better. We only had owned the home for a few months. I did tell Mike that I may be testing the water further to determine IF some of their chemicals were found in the pool, but (unknown to Mike) had decided not to pursue this path, as long as we would have the pool covered for the near future. On 12/3/10 I received an e-mail from Mike that stated: "Following our conversation on December 2, 2010, I again discussed the issue of the pool water with our manager. We believe that your suspicions regarding our treatment are unfounded and baseless. So long as we perceive a threat of litigation based on such suspicion, we believe it to be in our best interest to engage in no further business dealings with you" Needless to say I was shocked that any company would handle their customers this way, especially with a national presence, plus Bartlett had taken care of this property and been paid a great deal of money for many years. When I called Mike to discuss, he admitted that I did NOT threaten any legal action, they just "perceived" it. He was going to speak to Rick Carter again and get back to me--He NEVER e-mailed or called me back--Amazing!! I have to rate them an "F" for this lack of professionalism. IF they really believed that they had NOTHING to do with the issue, why did they decide to dismiss what had been a great account? It makes me wonder what else has happened in the past with other accounts!! Bartlett should NOT be your vendor for anything--How do you hire a firm that cancels customers based on their perceptions of what might happen? That is just "business" to stand behind your products and processes, and for Bartlett shows their lack of confidence in what they do and extremely poor customer service overall, especially for a national firm.

It went very well, I was satisfied. When I went outside to check there was one limb that I noticed was hanging over into the neighbors yard that would be best trimmed. I told them about it, and they took care of it immediately.
