Description of Work: We had to have 6 Ash trees removed, trimming of a very large Elm tree, and grinding of the 6 Ash tree stumps, another large stump, and a few smaller ones. Getting the estimate was quick and was a competitive quote. Rick was very nice, came out and discussed various options for the Ash trees; we chose to treat 2 trees and remove 6. He also gave us options for a tree in front that wasn't doing well. We chose not to treat that tree. | |The men who came to cut down the trees were great. They spoke to me before they started, kept me updated, and let me know when they were done. Watching them take down the trees and trim the large tree was very impressive. They clearly knew what they were doing. | |There was quite a delay before the next team came to grind the stumps and this is where communication with Rick was quite lacking. We kept trying to figure out when they would come and grind and never got an answer. They showed up about 2 weeks after the trees were cut down. They just showed up without telling us. They did a great job, however, and were done in about 45 minutes. | |Overall, we were happy with the work and would use them again.

Description of Work: They removed a dead tree, evaluated 2 others that looked stressed, recommended treatment for one. The 2nd they thought it couldn't be saved and advised no treatment.

Description of Work: Hired Bartlett to treat Emerald Ash Borer in multiple trees. Was pretty pricey, but comparable to other professional services. The arborist is very responsive to e-mails and helped us identify other pests living in non-ash trees after the service was complete.

Description of Work: Mike Seybert came out to provide a quote to remove a maple tree that had blown down in a storm. He also suggested a cable to protect another maple tree from splitting. All of the work was well done and the quote was right on target. The workers were also friendly and arrived on time. I have used Bartlett Tree Experts in the past and recommend them to my friends, when asked.

Description of Work: In past years our euonymus beds have been attacked by mites and other insect pests which defied control by remedies sold in hardware stores. After consulting Bartlett we obtained a quote for two sprayings, had them done in 2010 with very good results. In 2011 the euonymus grew even better and after the first of two sprayings are doing extremely well. The right pesticide and appropriate spraying has saved an extensive part of our landscaping. Bartlett has done a good job, notifies us approximately when they are coming and performs the spraying quickly and accurately over the various yard areas. We recommend them for this type of service. Each spraying (of two) is for the cost incurred in this report.
