Bartlett Tree Experts

I waited 8 days, from the time I was told someone would be by to look at the problem, until he actually showed up to give an estimate. His information and suggested work, was very helpful. I was able to take care of the immediate problem on my own. Would call again, if larger problems show up.

The initial response for assessment of damages and to estimate charges was timely. The estimate was accurate. The performance of the tree removal and pruning was excellent. The crew doing the work was very professional. However, the work to remove the excess soil and girdling roots was not done in a timely fashion, and the company did not return our calls of inquiry as to whether and when the work was to be done. We were billed for this last service before its performance and then charged late fees when we deducted payment for just this one service not performed from the billing invoice charges.

I offered them a tray of fruit, beverages, snacks, cheese and donut balls. I always do this to thank the workers, but I hear it is very rare to try and find a way to appreciate good, hard labor and those who labor. I wish more customers would be appreciative to crews/workers. Arborist Michael Seybert was on time, friendly, professionally clear in his recommendations. His estimate was prompt and well defined. He was an excellent representative of Bartlett. He made the necessary adjustments to the proposal as requested. The property was well treated and thoroughly cleaned up. The crew was focused prompt, respectful of the land and quiet. The actual work was done exactly as the estimate/work order outlined. Hire them and be at peace!

My trees have blossomed since they did the work and it is amazing how they have grown so beautifully. The people who came out were very knowledgeable and were experts in their field. There was a lot of personal and individual attention given to each tree. The men climbed all over the trees themselves to do the trimming, rather than using a cherry picker, he was like a little monkey. They did great work and I'm going to use them again.

The crew was on-time and did an excellent job on the maple pruning, the removal of the shrub, and the clean-up. Severe weather delayed the stump removal for a couple of days, that work was done well. The crew supervisor was personable and knowledable. Although expensive, the work performed was top notch and far superior to that of other tree services, which I have used in the past. I will use this firm's services again.

I thought they did a fine job. They were recommended to me by Eagle Creek Nursery, and I had a tree that had split and fallen over in the wind. It was a total loss at that point and I had to have it removed. They did a good job and got to it in pretty short order.

This work was listed as three separate jobs. Each was done professionally. The cutting crew was kind enough to cut to firebox length, being a small job and added service. I found Bartlett's estimate procedures to be the most professional of four top ranked companies in the listings.

Originally made contact with company to have them look at an ash tree. Later called them to look at a maple tree that was not leafing out. Arborist said tree was dead. He suggested that all other trees on the property have excess mulch and dirt removed from around roots to avoid additional tree loss. We hired them to do this work. (After several unanswered phone calls.) Workers showed up at our home without confirming a work date and were not even certain of what work to perform. They performed the work but not as expected and left. (We were not home because they did not let us know when they would be there.) I called and complained about the mess left and the unacceptable quality of the work. Arborist said workers should have removed impediments to completion and should have made sites more visually appealing. Workers came back/corrected only 4 trees and refused to correct more stating the arborist "didn't know what he was talking about" and they would not complete the work.

Job 1: They re excellent .They were timely on all appts & thorough in their work. We plan to hire them to do the work they recommend to keep the tree healthy. Job 2: Rick has been excellent to deal with, returning calls & sending emails as we moved through the proposal & scheduling process. We received a detailed report based on the tests they conducted on the tree & immediately contacted Rick to arrange to have the work done. The arborist & his crew arrived & completed all of the work. The tree looks better. The crew was excellent -- they moved everything off the back deck, carefully measured the width of the driveway & then masterfully maneuvered the truck into position in the back. They cleaned up every stray leaf & answered questions throughout the morning. Excellent experience! Will definitely call them annually to check on the health of the tree. We're so glad we called them instead of simply following the advice of the other company -- it's a great tree.

Richard Barker did a nice job evaluating our needs and was responsive to inquiries as the work was completed by different crews.

We were pleased - they came when they said they would, were very professional. They cleaned everything after themselves, raked the whole area. Price was fair. We are looking to use them again for tree replacement.

I requested an estimate for tree service over one month ago. After several weeks with no response, I contacted the company again. Well over one month has now expired and I have not received my requested estimate nor been contacted by them. Very poor service.

Arborist Rick Barker was very knowledgeable and helpful. He provided detailed estimates for varied tasks. He scheduled my job quickly to accommodate other work I was having done. When, due to unforeseen circumstances, they weren't able to come as scheduled, Rick called early that morning letting me know and rescheduling for the following day. The crew that came out did an excellent job, going 'above and beyond.'' They were skillful, cleaned up everything, and were careful of perennials and ornamentals hidden in the overgrowth. I have already recommended them to others and will definitely use Bartlett again.

They were the least expensive for the pruning. They did a good job and it turned out nice. We are happy with the results. It did take a long time to schedule!

Very prompt service. The storm was Sunday and I called Monday and the tree was gone by Monday afternoon. They totally cleaned the area including all the small twigs. And they cleaned up the site afterward. I was very impressed and would use them again.

THEY WERE ABOUT THE MIDDLE OF ALL THE QUOTES WE GOT, BUT WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT 6 WEEKS FOR THEM TO COME. IT'S WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY. THEY COMPLETELY CLEANED THE YARD AFTER THE TREE WAS TAKEN DOWN, AND AFTER THEY REMOVED THE STUMP, THEY SPREAD NEW TOPSOIL AND EVEN PLANTED GRASS. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE SERVICE. MIKE DOMINO WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

IT TOOK ABOUT THREE WEEKS TO GET AN ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK. IT TOOK ANOTHER THREE WEEKS AFTER THE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED AND SENT BACK TO GET THE WORK DONE. NO COMMUNICATION IN BETWEEN ABOUT CHANGES IN ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE. MEMBER WAS TOLD BY OFFICE STAFF THAT THEY LOST SEVERAL CONTRACTS THAT CUSTOMERS HAD SENT BACK, AND LATER FOUND THEM. SPECIFICATIONS IN THE CONTRACT WERE NOT MET ON THE FIRST TRIP, SO HAD TO SCHEDULE RETURN TRIP TWO WEEKS LATER TO DO THE REST OF THE JOB. WHEN DONE, WORK WAS ACCEPTABLE. ON SITE WORKERS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND CLEANED UP ANY DEBRIS. ARBORIST RICK CARTER OFFERED EXPLANATIONS FOR WHY HE DECIDED LATER IT WAS BEST NOT TO FOLLOW SOME OF THE SPECIFICATIONS HE HAD WRITTEN IN THE CONTRACT, AND AGREED TO REDO OTHERS THAT HAD NOT BEEN MET.

OVER ALL A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY WERE ON TIME, THEIR ESTIMATE WAS ACCURATE AND THE WORK WAS DONE WELL.

THEY CAME AND PERFORMED THEIR SERVICE, LEAVING THE INFORMATION ATTACHED TO THE FRONT DOOR KNOB. THE SERVICE WAS PERFORMED DURING THE PERIOD THEY HAD INDICATED. I GAVE THEM AN EXCELLENT RATING IN ALL AREAS BECAUSE THE WORK DESERVED IT AND THEIR PERFORMANCE WAS VERY NON-INTRUSIVE. THEY CAME, DID THE JOB AND LEFT WITHOUT ANY DISTURBANCE. THE TREES WERE TRIMMED NICELY AND THE SPRAY APPEARS TO HAVE WORKED. THEY ARE VERY GOOD ABOUT LOOKING AT THE TREES TO DETERMINE WHAT SHOULD BE DONE.
