Bartlett Tree Experts

The tree is slowly responding and we can see slight improvement. There is no gaurantee of success, but there seems to be improvement. Bartlett's are true tree experts backed by a national tree research organization.

Mike responded quickly to our request. He subdivided the estimated into groups. His estimate was by far the most detailed of the five we received. He generated it in printed form on site. It was very professional. This estimate was 40% higher than the next one and ran above what we wanted to pay.

Their estimate came back at three times ($6200) another Angies List "A" rated tree service who did an excellent job!! The rep came and left the estimate in my mail box after I stated that I needed to talk to the guy when he came. And I was home! When I called to ask him questions, he didn't return my call until late the next day. By that time the company that we did hire was coming that following day to do the work. And they were excellent!! Lesson: no matter how well the company is rated, get a couple of estimates!!

I received a detailed estimate with a full description of each service performed. I was able to ask questions and get clarification with quick response time. Once I accepted the proposal, the work was performed within days. The trees look wonderful and the work site is spotless.

Arrived when scheduled, thoroughly treated the various beds on the property. To date, no pest recurrence. Second treatment of season is due in July.

The tree is gone and it's wonderful.

Mike Seybert was very easy to work with, very knowledable, and accurate with estimates. The only issue was their tree grinder broke, but once it was fixed and it stopped raining, they came back and dug out the trees and cleaned up the area very nicely.

Company/staff are etremely knowledgable, much more so than any other tree service I've dealt with previously. Very punctual/professional, quality of work shows. Certainly not a low-cost provider, but well worth it given the superior service and quality of work.

They did a nice job. I had no problems with them. The work was satisfactory.

We had ordered both disease and fertilization treatment but the serviceman only did the fertilization. Our representative called back to say that the time wasn't right for disease control and would have to be later when the tree was in full leaf. This wasn't a big deal, but is why I ranked the professionalism down a bit. They are not the cheapest tree service around, but they have certified arborists on their staff and that means something to us.

He did a really nice, clean job. He was very polite. I got a couple of estimates, and his was the best of all. He removed the trees and put soil on the ground where the stumps were removed. He went 20 inches into the ground to remove the stumps fully. He didn't get dust everywhere. I feel he is truly a tree expert. He couldn't go through my yard with his equipment because of the terrain, so he ended up going through my neighbor's property after permission was received. He did all of the checking with my neighbors and made sure that there were no electrical or telephone lines that would be in the way.

The service went very well. We use them for insect treatment and nutrition for trees with special issues.

They cleaned up very well after themselves. Their pricing was in line with everything and I was satisfied with their work.

After receiving several quotes I hired Bartlett because their price was the most reasonable. A certified Arborist examined the trees and gave instructions for their trimming. The work was done promptly and in a professional manner.

They were quick, on time and very efficient when they came for the appraisal. They were exactly on time when they came out for the services. They gave an exact time when they would be here and not a window of time. They were here, did the work, cleaned up and they were fabulous. I don't think it was a fabulous price but they are insured, so it was probably worth the price. I would absolutely use them again.

They haven?t called us back at all. It ticks me off after all the money we?ve spent with them over the years. I wouldn?t hire them again at this point, unless they call with a reason and an apology.

They do high quality work under the supervision of an arborist. I have not compared prices, but I feel they might be on the high side. Over the years, they have taken care of our bushes and they have thrived.

Arrived on time for the estimate. Estimate was very complete and well done.

Called and was told the person who does the estimates would take longer than a week and had a specific day that each week that they would be in my area. I was in no hurry so this was not a problem and I did not ask for an exception. The estimate arrived at my door as planned and I was pleased to see a VERY reasonable quote (60% of what others were planning to charge). After making an appointment the service was performed and they even cleaned up my yard near the tree (cleared off the driveway from a season of tree droppings, old leaves I had raked to the trunk, etc.) The job was done quickly, efficiently, effectively.

They were expensive, but we were willing to pay the premium to make sure the work got done right, and it was. We are very happy.

Aroborist came out to examine the trees and give me advice and estimates. Response was prompt -- he came within a day or two of my calling. He was friendly and seemed knowledgeable and explained what he thought should be done to the trees and why. I went with another company because of a significant price difference.

Their prices vary. They clean up every piece of tree. Rick Carter, their Arborist is excellent! I will continue to work with them in the future.

They were quick with their appraisal. They also gave a follow up call. They were on time and professional.

We had confidence in what he said. He sounded sure of his decision. They didn't charge us a thing to come out and look at our tree. I would recommend them.
