It was great, and we are so happy with our new addition! It took about a year from hiring them to completion, longer than I hoped but it was worth the wait. There were a few minor bumps along the way, but the crew resolved each issue promptly. The crew leader Saul was so helpful and knowledgeable, answering our many questions and making sure the final product was exactly what we wanted. The bedroom, bathroom and closet are all fantastic and we appreciate the care and attention to detail that went into the work.

Aventus Builders remodeled my half bathroom on the first floor of our home - toilet, vanity, lights, paint, floor. They did a great job. The team is very professional, kind, and great communicators. They began quickly on the project and got it done within a few days. I also had them install light fixtures in the hallway and outdoors. They were open to feedback and quickly addressed my concerns. They didn’t close the project until I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend Aventus Builders for your next project.

Bottom-line, we love the final product and would hire them again. We worked with our own architect in advance of getting bids from contractors so we had a detailed, specific idea of what we wanted done, and could make an apples-to-apples comparison between different bids. Mario, the owner, was very responsive throughout the bidding process, and we revised the bid several times to try to ensure everything was covered and we were on the same page. It was a complicated build involving matching existing floor and ceiling heights, new HVAC and plumbing systems, a steel support beam, and connecting different rooflines. Aventus' final bid was competitive with the other bids, and Mario's communication The highlight of the entire experience, and why we will work with Aventus again, is the network of craftsmen that Mario brought onto the project. Each of the subcontractors did really high quality work. We stayed in our home during the entire renovation, and were impressed with how respectful and thoughtful the workers were throughout construction. We had no concerns with them being around our children, they routinely cleaned and organized the site during different construction phases, and clearly took pride in the quality of their work. In particular, the project manager, Saul Fuentes, was worth his weight in gold. He listened to what was important to us, and it was clear he did not cut any corners in any stage of the process. Our 60+ year old house foundation had settled, sloping more than an inch across some stretches. Saul and his crew were able to build a level surface, connecting the old to the new, and matching up to our floor and ceilings. Working with him felt very collaborative, where we were able to solve design problems together to get things the way we wanted them, while still being secure, to code, and built solid. The flooring and trim carpenter, Jorge, was meticulous in getting finish details perfect and matching up to our existing house. Bumps: The permitting process was agonizingly long. Some of that is undoubtedly bureaucracy from Marion County (compounded by our home being at the edge of a floodplain zone). Permits for our project were subcontracted out by Aventus to Rivera Group, who we were *not* impressed with, and both we and Aventus had to reach out to them multiple times to shepherd things along. There were also some additional costs incurred during building that we didn't become aware of until the end, but we were able to work with Mario in reaching an agreement we felt was fair. These issues aren't unique to Aventus, and Mario was transparent about the things they learned during the process too. We'd happily work with Aventus again!

Very impressed with Aventus Builders. I had to rebuild the ground floor of my townhouse after losing the flooring and 2 feet of drywall due to a blackwater flood and mitigation efforts. Aventus crews did an excellent job and also stayed within the cost estimate for the rebuild that was calculated by my homeowner’s insurance. They also completed the project quickly within a week. Chris was professional and provided clear and responsive communication throughout the project. I highly recommend Aventus Builders!

Phenomenal Job! Mario and his team are extremely professional and their work is superb. I initially hired them to clean up some work that was incomplete by my last contractor to see if they were reliable. Upon seeing their work, I hired them to do a complete renovation. They knocked the ball out of the park! I brought in two other contractors to get bids, all were $300k+; Mario was able to do the work for almost half the cost, and the time, coordination, and consistent feedback were great. It went great. The work started a month after I hired Mario (the owner), and once started, the job only took three days. It was great for my timeline to move into the house (I just brought the house and wanted the work done before I needed to vacate my apartment). What I appreciated the most was the advice Mario and the foreman in charge of my project, Saul, gave me concerning how things would work best (floor plan, resources, etc.). During the initial consultation, I had a lot of ideas, and Mario brought me down to earth, which actually saved me money in the long run. During the job, Saul gave me great recommendations on improvising when the crew found obstructions in the walls, and also had fun ideas which made my son's closet kid-friendly.

The project was done right. Two small issues occurred. After getting the quote, I asked for a materials list and photo of the outer vent cap to submit to my HOA. This was not done and I was told that they don't purchase the material until the project starts even though I paid half the project price up front. One the day that was agreed upon, I text him on what time to expect him. He tried to push it off for the next day. I told him that this was the day that I scheduled, he finally agreed to start the project. When he showed up, the wrong type of venting was brought, his team went and purchased the proper material and completed the project by the end of the day. His team was very professional and did a great job.

Mario was very responsive and easy to get in touch with for any questions. Everything happened in a very timely manner. I was expecting for the project to take a while from when I contacted Aventus to when it was done but, given the smaller scope of the work, we were done in no time. Having remodeled a bathroom before with a different company this was very unexpected but very appreciated. Fortino and Brandon were the ones completing the work and were very good about stopping at various stages to show me the work that had been completed thus far. Part of the remodel was to fix a leak and they made sure to show me how they were fixing the damage so I was comfortable with what was being done. They even made additional suggestions unrelated to the project to help control water coming from the shower which I appreciated. The completed project looked great! We would definitely have them again for another remodel if one were to come up.

Due to some damage, I needed to replace the shower tile in the master bath. Eventually this ended up being all the tile in the shower and around the bathtub. Took some time to get started due to backlogs, but it was worth the wait. This turned out fantastic! Some redesign of the shower and now there is more room and things overall look so nice. Super job.

Well back in 2017 when my husband and I bought our home, we knew the fireplace had to be remodeled at some point. It was like an elephant in the room! We found Aventus group. A man named Leo began working on the surround and mantle. I explained exactly what I hoped to have. He took my ideas and I watched them turn into reality! It was amazing. So beautiful. Very prompt , respectful, and kind. Mario the owner was very great with his communication, always kept his word, and was very involved. Another part of the team was someone named Saul, he put in the insert in one day and did everything to our liking. It’s important when a boss is involved with the project and Mario owner of Aventus Group did that!
