I had a leak in my bedroom ceiling which was determined to be coming from the area where the chimney and the roof meet. They repaired the leak and fixed the flashing around the area. I have a 3-story house so the leak was not in an easy place to get to.

I felt that the owner, Jeff, was very articulate. His proposal was very clear. He gave us a quote when I talked to him. Another man, not Jeff, came out to do the work. It was pretty poor. He was telling me another quote and that was what he was sticking to. I eliminated the second half of the work that he was supposed to do for me and went ahead and paid him for the first half of the work he did for me. I felt that the quote was exceedingly high for the work that was done. The owner was very professional but the people who came to do the work were not.

Overall, our experience was very positive.

A general contractor is only as good as his subs and overall I am pleased with the results. The carpenter did a fantastic job removing the walls. The drywall contractor had to be "nudged" to complete the project, but in the end, I got what I wanted.

Jeff and Ronnie were great to work with. Both kept open lines of communication and were very helpful. Having siding installed in the middle of an Indiana winter is no easy feat. But Ronnie and his crew did an excellent job with fixing problems that came up (with our house- no fault of the contractors!) and working in the freezing temps. Since we were only repairing one side, they were able to match up our siding to the rest of the house. They also added insillation and secured the wall, and made sure to address our 'wind tunnel' issues. They worked quickly and were very accomidating to my running out and asking questions. I would definitely recommend this company and will have no problems calling them personally for any future house issues.

They did a good job. I got a quote for basement remodeling but did not get the work done as they were expensive on that. I would use them in the future.

I bought a 22 y-o house 4BR/2.5Ba in need of a new roof and updating. Jeff prepared a roofing estimate first, then later gave me estimates for several other projects I was considering. When he first inspected the roof, I pointed to areas of concern (including roof and trim sagging in one area, one area of gutter, and need for all vents terminating in the attic to be vented out the roof. Jeff wrote a detailed contract reflecting verbal commitments on the roof and related vents, trim, and gutter. I signed it and gave deposit as requested. The start was delayed a bit and the project took considerably longer than expected (in part due to weather) and I had to get very firm and insistent in order to get commitments fulfilled ( sag corrected and attic vents) as promised. John, the installer was professional and did a good job once he understood what had been committed to me. Jeff, however, whined and got huffy about fulfilling his promises and about needing to provide a written warranty before I wrote the final check. When I called him on this, he explained that he was tired and personal concerns were stressful. I am pleased with my roof, but will look elsewhere for the other projects. I think Jeff is well meaning, but was disappointed when he inferred I should be satisfied with a sag and only one vent. I encourage clients to pay attention to the details up front, get them in writing and stay observant and persist.

Their price was very comparable. It was just a little bit higher, but the window quality of the other vendor was better and I wanted to go with it. However, I would do business with them. The owner, Jeff, was great. He was personable. He helped me with some advice on vinyl siding a couple of years ago at no charge. I wish I could have done business with him, but I didn’t like the product he was getting me unlike what the other provided gave me. If his product was great, I would have done business with Jeff. If I needed something remodeled in the future, I would probably ask Jeff to do it. His price is very reasonable.

We didn't have any insulation in our walls. They blew in cellulose and insulated knee walls and rim joists. It took two days. They cleaned up after it as well.

Jeff, the contractor, is a really nice guy. Very professional and fun to talk with. They came in well under 3 other estimates on the foundation work. And actually advised me against the attic work because of there not being enough room to do it properly. I will certainly use them again when the need arises.

Overall, the jobs went well. I was pleased with the result.

Received an estimate to repair and replace, gutter boards, rafters, porch ceiling, soffits, eaves and over hangs. the estimate was pricey so, I deceided to go with another company

Despite the freezing weather and snow, they did an excellent job and on time. They were prompt, courteous, and went beyond, shoveling snow where our plower had blocked the entrance to the house so our cleaning people could get in. We trust Jeff's judgment and feel his prices are fair. The quality of work has been consistently excellent. We have used him over 10 years.

The experience was good. They were very nice to work with. I would say that they were very thorough.

Jeff Eshowsky was a pleasure to work with. He uses email, cell phone, etc. to be responsive. He subs out the work, but does check in on satisfaction. Roofers were OK, but experience of having Jeff coordinate everything is the reason to call again. He is also familiar with historic preservation rules and process for getting approval - which is very helpful.

The men came on time, were diligent and listen to my wife's suggestions. They completed the job in one day. They cleaned up the mess in the garage. They were very professional!!

They were very polite and very courteous. Everything was fine, and I never had any issues with them.

I called American Construction and they did fantastic work. They replaced the whole front part of the house. In the long run, I knew that the work had to be completed.

We are in the process of selling our house. From a previous inspection done on it, we learned that the floor supports for the kitchen and DR floors were not good. Jeff looked at them, gave us a proposal with a time when it could be done, and completed it.

We were out of town and our housekeeper noted leak in ceiling and buckling on wall. Our son called Jeff immediately that evening he had his roofer come out the next morning (a Saturday) to diagnose and fix the problem. This is about as good as service can get. We always rely on Jeff and his people to for repair issues and as a result we call him immediately and we have used them for remodeling as well. Service A++++++!

The workman were very good. They would come to work very early in the morning and worked all day long. They wouldn't even take a break, they would work all through the day. They were such a good team. I would use them again.

I've always had good success with them. Jeff is very reasonable and I always felt that if any of the subcontractors didn't do the work good that he would go out and correct it. He is very hands on. They've been around now for a long time. He'll be the first guy I call if I ever need anything done.

They did a great job. They were friendly and professional. We had no problems with them. They cleaned up well when they were finished. If ever needed, we would hire them again in the future.

They did a lot of demolition for us and they did a good job of cleaning that up, matching the brick on the addition to what was already on the house, etc. We've even referred them to other people and we would use them again.

Superb!! Jeff would not let me go overboard in spending on materials but we got my top of the line Toto toilet to replace the functioning brown/beige one, a tub/shower to replace the rotting huge stall shower; beautiful sink and cabinetry including a tall compartment for lots of storage. David Rice (plumber) and staff did an excellent job and advised me on tile and color as well. Realized we had no light over toilet which did have the fan above, so David suggested a fan light which worked out perfectly. Looks fabulous and now our friends will use the bathroom (as well as guests who stay overnight on couch in finished basement) when they party here. Another great job by Jeff's people!
