 + -1 moreOverall the wood is good but not dried enough. If I didn't have a gas log starter the wood would not burn easily at all. It sizzles while the gas is on.
Description of Work: The wood was delivered as promised and stacked neatly. The only problem is that the wood is not dry. The logs are very heavy and when we start them with the gas starter is continues to sizzle for a long time. If the starter is turned off, the logs stop burning. I called the company and was promised a phone call but after 7 days I have not heard from them. I love the wood, but just wish it was dry and would like a call back.

 + -1 moreThey came promptly. The men delivering were very nice and stacked the wood in the places I wanted (by garage and on back patio). The quantity of wood appeared correct. Some of the wood had a lot of fungus on and some seemed rotten. I have had better wood, but the service was great and I was satisfied overall as they were so quick.

 + -1 moreDelivery was 5 days after the indicated delivery date. I wasn't at home when they delivered, but did nicely stack the firewood and politely placed my tarp over the stack. The wood they delivered is relatively new, fairly wet. Though there are some seasoned pieces of wood, the overall selection isn't very good for burning for the next several months.

 + -1 moreOn Aug 10th, we heard a loud crash. I frankly thought a plane, or some other large object, had fallen on the house. Upon investigation, we found a ''jungle'' out our front door. We were very concerned with a large limb falling on 3 parts of our roof and doing damage to the roof and plantings. The whole entry way on all three sides was covered with limbs, branches, and leaves. We needed help right away for several parts of the roof that were damaged enough to cause concern with leakage into the house. Larry Wainwright and his crew should receive a ''Super Service Award'' for their compassion and concern in accommodating us and help to put our minds at rest on what was a very traumatic situation. We will continue to have All Points as our tree service. Larry is a fine man!
Description of Work: Larry (owner) from All Points came out to house late on Aug 10 after a large tree limb fell on our house doing damage to the roof. Larry put on a temporary tarp and came out early the next morning with his crew (he had to rearrange prior commitments in order to handle this emergency). They cut down the large limb being very careful not to break any windows or more damage to roof and plantings. We have had Larry and his crew many times at our home to cut trees down, and they have always been very professional and do excellent work. This time was over and above since we had an emergency situation, and they came through. It had even started to rain, and we were very concerned to get tarps up on the damaged parts of the roof before the rain became a problem. They had their work done in a timely fashion, and the tarps went on in time.

Description of Work: Ordered firewood. Delivered exactly when promised. Delivery man willingly took and stacked behind house, which is a good distance for no extra charge. Others had balked at this and just drop at back of drive.

 + -1 moreAll Points Tree Service (APTS) personnel were professional and customer-oriented from the time I placed the order to delivery. Two hard-working gentleman arrived at my house on a Saturday evening to deliver and stack my firewood (around back of house). I have not burned any of the firewood delivered at the time of this review, but have no concerns about quality. APTS did a great job stacking my firewood and cleaning up after themselves (I supplied the broom and dust pan).

Jay helped me figure out how much wood to order and they delivered it the next day. They also stacked the wood for me exactly where I wanted it. The delivery guys were great - friendly and gave me advice on how to keep it dry. The wood was exactly as expected -- dry and a good length and width.

 + -1 moreDale and two of his men came out promptly the next day and cut down the three trees and removed a lot of honeysuckle cut down from a 40 foot hill. They worked as a team. They were licensed and bonded. They had their wood chopper machine, and I thought they were going to leave a mess after they were done. But to my happy surprise, they even used a blower to clean up all the extra chips and left my landscaping as if they hadn't even been here. It's nice to have another back up company, especially with all of our storms lately in Indy.
Description of Work: I couldn't have my regular tree service assist me because they were extremely busy. I had an emergency needing three bent over trees cut down before they landed on my house. Dale, their foreman, came out and surveyed what needed to be done and gave me a quote that was reasonable.

The wood was hauled around to the back of my property and neatly stacked where I wanted it placed. The wood appears to be dry and a good mixture of hardwoods. I will use this service in the future.

 + -1 moreThis company trimmed my 2 large Oriental elms several years ago. I was so impressed by the job they did. Due to proper trimming, the trees have grown out well and it's time to do it again. I knew just who to call, and the owner came out within a few days to give me a current estimate. The cost was very close to what it had been before, and he took the time to talk with me about tree care and some of the issues I was dealing with. Very informative! Though I can't have the work done now, I will be having him come back in the spring to get it done. They are very professional and I would highly recommend them!
