Description of Work: I called Jeff on the Sunday prior to Memorial Day about a water heater problem. He tried to trouble shoot over the phone and we decided he would need to come out. By Tuesday morning he had the part and installed it for me while I was at work. Once again, Jeff performed with professionalism and courtesy.

 + -1 moreMR. SATTERTHWAITE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND WAS TIMELY, HARD WORKING, COMMUNICATED WELL, AND WAS CLEAR ON THE ESTIMATE OF COSTS INVOLVED. HE CAME PREPARED, AND WAS IN AT OR UNDER HIS ESTIMATE FOR THE TOTAL COST AND TIME INVOLVED TO COMPLETE THE JOB. WE ARE VERY PLEASED AND WILL HAVE HIM DO OUR PLUMBING WORK AND REPAIR IN THE FUTURE. HE LOOKED AT THE PROBLEM AND CAME UP WITH ALTERNATIVES THAT HE EXPLAINED TO US, AND ALLOWED US TO CHOOSE HOW TO PROCEED, EITHER REPAIRING OR REPLACING ITEMS TO COMPLETE THE JOB. HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING, DID NOT WASTE TIME, AND WAS VERY CAREFUL TO CLEAN UP THE AREA - WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN VERY MESSY IF HE HAD NOT BEEN SO CAREFUL.
Description of Work: RE-SET AND REPLACED A TOILET THAT HAD BEEN OLD, UNSTABLE, AND LEAKING, WHERE THE PIPES WERE VERY OLD (1961 ORIGINAL IRON PIPES). PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FINAL COST WAS $250 PLUS THE ACTUAL COST OF THE NEW TOILET.

 + -1 moreJEFF WAS PREPARING BREAKFAST FOR HIS FAMILY, BUT WHEN HE HEARD THAT WATER WAS ACCUMULATING IN OUR BASEMENT HE ARRIVED WITH A PUMP WITHIN 40 MINUTES DURING TORRENTIAL RAIN AND SET IT UP. THIS LIMITED DAMAGE TO THE DRYWALL. JEFF SUBSEQUENTLY INSTALLED TWO NEW PUMPS ON SEPARATE ELECTRIC CIRCUIT BREAKERS, AS WELL AS THE WATER PRESSURE BASED BACKUP. JEFF SATTERTHWAITE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLUMBER, AND HUMAN BEING, I HAVE EVER HIRED. I WILL BE KEEPING JEFF FOR THE DURATION OF MY LIFETIME FOR ALL PLUMBING RELATED JOBS IN MY PRESENT AND FUTURE HOMES AND HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO MY BUSINESS PARTNERS AND PAST EMPLOYEES AS WELL.
Description of Work: DURING THE BIG RAINS LAST FALL, MY PRIMARY AND BACKUP SUMP PUMPS FAILED AND THE THIRD WATER-FLOW BASED PUMP WAS UNABLE TO KEEP UP. OUR ALARM WENT OFF AND DURING THE MIDDLE OF A STATE-WIDE EMERGENCY WE CALLED JEFF SATTERTHWAITE PLUMBING.
