When I walked he clinic with my collie, I was greeted at the door.  The vet tech took us into a room and took his vitals, weight and all the information needed.  She then took him in the back room where she said the vet on call, Dr.Jeffrey Wallis, would examine Sampson and come back into the room.  It was about 5 minutes later, Dr. Wallis came in to the room, leaned on the counter with his arms crossed and proceeded to tell me what was going on.  He was just so matter off fact, as there was absolutely NO compassion in his voice.  I was very emotional, as all owners would have been.  I asked if I could see Sampson and he led me to the back room.  I was actually shocked to see him laying on the concrete floor instead of an examining table.  His wound was extremely large and I was shocked and saddened to see my baby this way. I actually said out loud, that I felt like I was going to throw up and that I was going to pass out.  There was NO response from any of them except to tell me to go back into the room and they would bring Sampson in to me when they were finished.  I went back in to the room and cried my heart out.  The vet tech brought Sampson back into the room with a list of instructions.  She then took my Discover card and off I went.  I know they were doing their job and they have obviously become de-sensitized from all the trauma they see.  But they could have showed SOME COMPASSION.  It's not the money I am complaining about, it's the way they treated myself and my Sampson.  
I will NEVER   go back there again.
