VALUE CITY FURNITURE

It was great! Robin, the saleswoman, was very helpful and saved us money on the delivery. They came right when they said they would and called before to let us know they were on their way. The furniture looks beautiful and I am very happy with the service they provided.

They did a great job. The salesman was very attentive and was patient with us while we decided which furniture we wanted. We were very happy when we left the store. The delivery guys showed up right when they said they would and did a great job bringing it in. The furniture was put right in place without any scratches or tears. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

The initial sale of the bedroom furniture was a little rough. The sales associate seemed a little air headed. For whatever reason, our account information is under my boyfriend's name but the credit card is in my name since I had the better credit and could get the financing. She also told us that we would get free delivery and set up but after we paid and left the store, we realized we had been charged about $200. The only frustrating part about that is that we live right behind the store and probably could have picked it up and put it together ourselves. However, the two men who delivered and set up our furniture were EXCELLENT. They both extremely professional and kind. They informed us that non of the furniture came with instructions and they had to figure out how to put the whole thing together on their own. 
When we originally bought the furniture, they told us the furniture would arrive within 2-3 weeks and that we would be notified as to when we should expect the delivery. About a month later, we received a bill in the mail but still no furniture. We called more than once and kept receiving different answers. On the plus side, we finally received our furniture and we LOVE it.
I'm not 100% thrilled with the service we received but I will more than likely use their services again; I'll just use a different sales associate. In the end, the store has a very good selection of furniture and were the only ones that would really help us find what we were looking for.

I was very happy with the price and they were able to finance us same as cash for 36 months. However, they had plenty off all the parts in stock with the exception of the railing and function pieces of the bed frame. So now we have to wait for those items to come in until the beginning of October. It was just a little irritating to be told you would have it in 3 days when we first looked at the set only for that to change after actually purchased. As a whole, I am pleased and will follow up after delivery.

it went terrible. it was a couch with recliners and a large recliner living room suite. the day of delivery the couch did not come off the truck because it was broken. it took a month to get a new one. then the large recliner has broken three times. we were told that after two times they would replace it with a new one but all they want to do is to keep fixing the same problem over and over again. the last time they were supposed to fix it they did not even bring the right piece of frame to fix it properly. needless to say as far as the chair goes, it has been at least 2-3 weeks in between the call to fix the chair until they even try to fix it. needless to say - we would not even recommend them to people we don't like. they are the worst example of customer service i have ever seen in my life.

I came back to purchase the mattress from them because I liked the sales person and the prices were good compared to others.

Salesroom was nice to navigate. We decided we wanted the table, but had a difficult time finding a salesperson to work with us. When we did, the man was very nice and looked up the inventory in the warehouse and told us it was in stock. We decided to have it delivered. We got a call later that week saying the table couldn't be delivered because the glass for the table was on backorder but was expected in a month. I was upset by this since we were told previously it was in stock. I accepted the delay. A month later I got a call saying the glass was still not in. I was VERY upset. About a few weeks later, my table finally arrived (nearly 2 months from the purchase date). I insisted on free delivery due to the delay, they hesitantly gave it to me only after I argued with them on the phone. The table is wonderful though. For the money, I got a really nice contemporary dining room set. Salespeople were good, the people I dealt with on the phone were NOT nice.

The saleslady. Vickie Caskey, was quite helpful in measuring the cabinets for me and checking the warehouse. Delivery was on time and the cabinets were placed in a difficult location quite carefully and without any damage. These cabinets are 80'' high and 49'' wide, and mostly glass and mirror. Very heavy and very well handled. The cabinets are quite sturdy and elegant in appearance. They cost substantially less than a similar cabinet at a nearby furniture store.

THE SHOWROOM IS EASY TO NAVIGATE AND THEY HAVE TONS OF SELECTION. WE ARE REALLY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE FURNITURE AND THE OPTIONS THAT WE COULD CHOOSE FROM. THE DELIVERY OF THE ITEMS WAS ON TIME AND INEXPENSIVE. EVERYONE THAT WE DEALT WITH WAS VERY KIND. THE SHOWROOM HAS A RELAXED ATMOSPHERE - WE DIDN'T RUN INTO ANY PUSHY SALESMEN.
