MIKE'S HANDYMAN SERVICE

Mike is great to work with! He is dependable, always on time, and does the highest quality of work. He completely replaced our back deck and we loved it so much we had him come back to redo our upstairs flooring. Both projects he completed in less than a week. An added bonus was that he was always kind to our dog and made sure not to leave any fences or doors open while he worked. I couldn't recommend Mike and his team enough!

Prior to these projects, Mike remodeled our kitchen and completed some other smaller projects (See separate reviews). Over the past few months, Mike and Logan completed the projects listed above and we are delighted with the results. The work is always completed in a professional manner at a reasonable cost. We feel that considerable value has been added to our home and we plan to utilize their services for additional projects this year.

Mike and his two assistants removed old countertops, installed new countertops, tile back splash, sink and faucet, microwave, dishwasher, electrical switches and outlets, garbage disposal and baseboards. He previously raised our cabinets to accommodate new refrigerator. They were punctual and worked professionally and diligently. They left us in good condition each day before leaving during the three day project. Mike made suggestions for some of the finishing touches that were excellent calls. The project was a great success and we will continue to contact Mike for any future projects.

Mike installed light fixtures in two bathrooms. This was the second time I utilized his services and he did an excellent job. He was professional, neat and very pleasant to work with. I will contact him for any future projects.

Have been using Mike off-and-on for last 11 years. Always does great work at reasonable cost. Punctual and clean. No surprises or "ut oh's". I highly recommend him.

Very well. Installation was not easy due to old wiring. Mike also gave advice as to many improvements needed around house.

Fortunately, Mike was able to come the same day as the damage occurred and prevented further damage. He was able to straighten and reattach the dislocated piece and it looks as good as new. Mike was punctual, courteous and professional. After learning the scope of his services, I intend to contact him regarding other home improvement projects in the future.

When checking the area Mike noted that the roofing was in poor condition, which I knew. He asked if I wanted that fixed as well, and he had a roofer come and replace the roofing in that overhead area before he replaced the railing. They did a very good job and 2 of my problems were solved instead of just one.

Mike Davidson and his son arrived on time. Old wooden sills (west facing) were cut away and replaced with PVC sills. Some trim replacement was required; caulking and painting entire window and brick realignment completed. This work was done on the 2nd story of a 30 year old custom home. All work was completed from the exterior.
Mike is a talented carpenter and a good communicator - his calendar books a several weeks out.

We had some rotting siding on the front of the house, above the garage door.  Mike and Jake suggested we replace the wood siding with cement board.  They tore out the old siding and replaced it with cement board, which is much more durable.  They also replaced an old spotlight above the garage door with a new one and replaced a porch light.  They painted the cement board, and trim.  The repairs look great.

I needed a exterior door replaced in out house. The frame had rotted away. I contacted Mike last fall to install the door I purchased but the weather turned too cold. I decided to wait until this spring. I gave Mike a call and here came out the next day and had the door installed within a half day. I thought he did an excellent job within installation and caulking.

I called and talked to Mike on Monday, and he thought that since the work was indoors, it would probably be Thursday or Friday as those were going to be rain days.  And I told him that would be fine.  I got a call the next day and he said that his son, Jake, would be out Wednesday morning.  Jake called on his way in the morning and let me know he was on his way.  He came in and checked out what I needed done.  He left for about twenty minutes to purchase the parts needed, and returned.  He completed the three repairs quickly and each one was done well.  Jake was friendly and made suggestions.  He looked at two other, larger projects that I need done later, and said he would have estimates worked up for those. 

very professional and very friendly.  stated they would be here at a certain time and they were.  found the top of the front porch was rotted and replaced all the boards.  Anything we had them check and needed fixed they did.   I would definitely hire them in the future.  Could not have asked for a better crew.

Went smoothly. We were in a rush so we could move in. Mike came on a weekend stayed all day and got the job accomplished.

After purchasing a new down draft range, we needed to move venting duct work so the down draft vent would work.  Mike had to replace flooring under the range, cut out new access hole for the ducts, install new electrical plug, and shorten the existing duct work.  Due to existing heating duct work under the range, this proved to be much more complicated than expected. 

We were very happy with Mike's persistence on getting this issue resolved.
