Description of Work: We have had a metal roof and repair of a flat roof on a complex home structure with numerous angles and difficult architectural features. During these repairs there were several mistakes made by the installation crew, but all of these were rapidly corrected without argument by Cornett Roofing after they were made aware of the issues.

Description of Work: Removed our red clay brick tile roof, put new underlayment, retiled roof and replaced broken/missing tiles. Also installed solar panels which have been awesome. We've had zero issues with our roof since! They did a great job! Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: I hired the company to put on a new roof on. They have also installed an internal gutter. The service went very well. The staff did a beautiful job. They mostly recently came out for the gutter. It was a section of the gutter on the corner of the house that was worked on. One technician came out for the job.

Description of Work: Installed metal roofing over existing roof, materials look very nice however the install crew seemed rushed and not concerned about quality of the job. I've them back out twice for different leaks, the way the valleys were finished they trap leaves and debris terribly causing backup (never had that problem with asphalt shingles before) and the roof is too steep and slippery for me to clean them out. I have to say both times the services techs that came out seemed like they did care about service and fixing the problem , unlike the install crew. Overall the roof looks great though a bit pricey, I only wish I had confidence in the installation. Also getting them to return calls to set up repairs is absolutely awful.

 + -1 moreINITIALLY, CHAN WAS VERY POLITE, BUT MY EXPERIENCE RAPIDLY DEGRADED. VERY RARELY CALLED BACK, AND ONLY AFTER MULTIPLE CALLS. SEEMED OVERWHELMED AND POORLY ORGANIZED. CLEARLY THEY MUST NOT NEED THE BUSINESS. AND THEY NEVER WILL GET A CHANCE FROM ME AGAIN.
Description of Work: CONTACTED CHAN AT CORNETT ABOUT INSTALLING METAL ROOF OVER A NEW PORCH AND FRONT ENTRANCE. INITIALLY, HE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND RETURNED MY CALL IMMEDIATELY. AFTER MY INITIAL CONTACT, MY EXPERIENCE WITH CORNETT WAS HORRIBLE. OFTEN DIDN'T RETURN PHONE CALLS. MY CONTRACTOR CALLED EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK WITHOUT A CALL BACK. I GOT THE FEELING THAT OUR JOB MAY HAVE BEEN TOO SMALL, BUT IF THAT HAD BEEN THE CASE, I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED CHAN JUST BEING HONEST WITH ME ABOUT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES ASKING ABOUT COLOR CHOICES, AND PRODUCT CHOICES. THE WOMAN ANSWERING THE PHONE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE AND JUST TOOK MESSAGES. FINALLY, SOMEONE NAMED MIKE CALLED ME BACK JUST 3 DAYS AGO AND APOLOGIZED FOR EVERYTHING. HE WAS VERY NICE, BUT TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE. THANKFULLY, I FOUND ANOTHER COMPANY TO HANDLE MY ROOFING NEEDS.

 + -1 moreTHE ROOF LEAKS AND I HAD A TWO YEAR WARRANTY FOR THE WORKMANSHIP. THEY HAVE BEEN OUT SIX TIMES TO TRY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES. I AM CONTINUING TO HAVE ISSUES AND HE SAID THAT HE IS FINISHED WITH THIS WORK AND WALKED OFF THE JOB. THE OWNER SAID THAT HE WOULD BE ON THE SITE, BUT HE WAS ONLY HERE FOR ABOUT 3 OR 4 DAYS OUT OF A MONTH. THE SALES REP FOR THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCT WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE. THINGS THAT WERE NOT COMPLETED PROPERLY. THINGS THAT I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE. I NOW HAVE TO HAVE ANOTHER ROOFER COME AND FIX MY ROOF, SO I CAN GET MY FIFTY YEAR WARRANTY THROUGH THE MANUFACTURER.

 + -1 moreWE HAD SOME DIFFICULTY LOCATING A ROOFER WHO WOULD LOOK AT OUR REPAIR NEEDS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE BARN HAS A METAL ROOF. WE WERE ABLE TO LOCATE 2 COMPANIES WILLING TO DO THE WORK. MR. CORNETT WAS POLITE, PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT. WITHIN 2 DAYS OF OUR INITIAL PHONE CONVERSATION, HE HAD INSPECTED OUR REPAIR PROBLEM AND SENT US A CONTRACT, WITH A QUOTED PRICE FOR THE JOB THAT WAS WELL BELOW OUR OTHER BID. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED SHORTLY THEREAFTER. THE WORKMEN WERE COURTEOUS AND DILIGENT AND WE WERE WELL SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THEY PERFORMED.
Description of Work: REPLACED DAMAGED FIBERGLASS PANELS ON OUR METAL BARN ROOF. REPAIRED SEVERAL ROTTED 2X4 CROSS MEMBERS.

THEY CAME BACK TO REPLACE SOME SHINGLES THEY HAD REPLACED TO FIX A LEAK BECAUSE IT DID NOT MATCH. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT WAS THEIR FAULT. THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT I DID NOT ASK THEM TO DO, THEY JUST VOLUNTEERED TO DO IT. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT HELPFUL. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY GOOD AFTER COMPLETION OF THE SALE. THEY ARE VERY GOOD ABOUT EXPLAINING HOW AND WHY THEY DO THE THINGS THEY DO. THE PERSON THAT ANSWERED OUR QUESTIONS AND MANAGED OUR JOB WAS JUSTIN.
Description of Work: THEY DID A TEAR OFF AND A REROOF ON OUR SCREENED PORCH ADDITION THAT HAD BEEN CONVERTED TO LIVING SPACE. THEY ALSO DID FLASHING AND WOOD TRIM REPLACEMENT ON THE CHIMNEY.
