Our gas lines didn't hold pressure but for less than 5 minutes. Come to find out, we had more than 7 leaks in our lines! The cost for repairing was going to be more expensive than replacing all of it (since we didn't have much line in the first place). It did help that we live VERY close to their office, he left and got pipes, came back, installed, did pressure test and even left it there over weekend. Monday morning, city came out and did its check and we passed our inspection! Nipsco set the meter and we were ready!
Rest of the story is that more than 3 years ago our gas bill was over $800 for one month. We couldn't afford to pay it. We were disconnected and we heated other ways for a couple years. Nipsco repo'd the meter and you have to pay big to get it turned back on and have a meter set. Over this record setting winter, with lots of snow, wind chills of -40 for several days... Our most expensive bill for this winter was still under $350!!! A huge thank-you and an excellent review is what I want to give to these excellent guys!
I am in fact, I'm calling these guys again (right now) to come back out, fix my AC and run a new wire to my thermostat so I can run the new Honeywell Smart Learning WiFi unit!

This winter the furnace stopped working on a cold day. I was disturbed that the furnace would stop working so soon, but was impressed they were able to come out at 3 in the morning to look at it . The technician had to order the part and he came back the next afternoon to get the part installed. The furnace continued to work throughout the winter.

I was busy and did not watch the repair. He told me that some capacitors were shot and needed replacing. Told him to go ahead and do it. He also checked coolant levels and gave the unit the once over. To get him out there was $84, the remaining $148 was to install the caps. While that seems high for the parts, some high power capacitors can be quite pricey. Also have to take into account the half hour it took to install them.
The fact they did not catch the failing caps earlier can be excused. They can go out just like a light bulb.
Considering the original caps were 30 years old, I think I got my money's worth out of them
All in all, I give them a A.
