Dr. O'Leary was very professional and caring (as always) related to my dog's heart condition. She always answers all of my questions and never makes me feel rushed. My 6 cats enjoy seeing her annually also!

First visit was good vet and staff nice. Paid for shots. Went back for meds. Called for boarding info- have kennel on site and was provided with employee names to also use. Plans not work to use for boarding/sitting. Then next time in for booster vacc-terrible! Apparently noisy dog not allowed in this vets office. Very disappointing. Thought animals would be welcomed and understood at such a place.

I was surprised I had to transport my dog to the emergency hospital while the dog was under their care. Another dog I had was correctly diagnosed The dog had other symptoms which I described to them but they did not treat that condition. I later learned at the emergency hospital that the pain medication they were giving my dog affected the dog's heart condition..

Dr. Cawood is excellent. I've been very pleased with the care he has given my 2 dogs. I would highly recommend him. His office staff have been efficient and professional.

We have made numerous visits with our pets to this clinic. As some of the other reviews indicate, there are some staffing issues and good/bad days with the staff are hit or miss. I generally like most of the vets and I notice some turnover recently in the last few months of front desk staff and vet techs. The senior person at the front desk is sometimes very warm and friendly but sometimes just plain RUDE. It frequently appears chaotic at the front desk. The upside is that they are normally very quick to respond to email requests through their portal/website for appointments. They are also fairly punctual, but every now and then they have an emergency and we have to wait longer than expected. That is fine because if it were my pet who had the emergency, I would want them to give him/her top priority. The office and exam rooms are very clean and they do not hesitate to quickly clean up any messes from their patients. I think they could benefit from some organization at the front desk and some of the staff could benefit from an improved attitude.

In general, Dr. Cawood is very knowledgable and kind. My wife and I both liked and trusted him. We went here for years and we always had the same impressions. We liked the doctor, did NOT like or trust the other doctors, found the practice to be overall unfriendly and unresponsive, and the staff is the weakest link. They are miserable.
I want to spell out why I say this. Over the years I constantly found myself getting irked to outright mad and I am not that kind of person. It went away when I dealt directly with the doctor but his staff just flat out mad me mad all the time. I wrote it off as just me being testy or whatever and I never shared my thoughts with my wife. One night we both took our Whippet to the vet and we both felt we were being treated poorly. It was at that time that we compared notes and also started to really observe the staff's bahaviors. IT was a circus. At the time there were lots of females ranging in age from 20 to 50 and they were ranging from nasty to silent. No one seemed to care about anything and spent a great deal of time avoiding work. We were so struck by this that I set a meeting with the vet and told him what we were thinking. He agreed he had real staff problems and thanked us for our input. A couple of staff were even disciplined for our complaints.
We kept going there because we liked the vet and he has hired a couple of nice people (a young male really stood out as positive) but the overall level of service is still grumpy and disinterested.
The culture here is flat out messed up and I hope the doc can surround himself with people as impressive as him. As of right now I could not return until he does.

I use them all the time for multiple dogs. I have used them for everything from surgery to boarding and they do a good job.

Indian Creek staff 's specialty is doing ACL surgeries. The end result was good for our dog.

Not only do we feel our dog is getting top quality care, it's at a much better rate than our previous vet. I would (and have) spent big money on pet care and I have enough knowledge of veterinary medicine to know when the vet feels my checkbook is more important than my pet. At Indian Creek my pet's welfare is most important! Dr. Cawood and the entire staff make this the best veterinary facility in the area.

I was very pleased by the professional response and support I received from Doctor Cawood and his staff. They are very nice people and my dog is much better because of their efforts.

They are very professional, courteous, and I think they are great. They are a multi-practice firm and I am always pleased with the customer service.
