**Review** this happened in fort Wayne, Indiana We got tricked, scammed, and mislead into a financing deal. If you don't want to read all of this, here is the jist. they signed us up to lease the couch (rent to own), which was never told to us. It took 2 months to get any information on how to even make a payment, and I find out it says we owe twice as much as what my invoice said. I only knew I was financing for 0%. For my remaining balance and never knew we were renting our couch! I ended up paying for the rest of my sectional so I would not get charged the extra $1000! I had the means to, so I did it, but very angry. Don't both calling corporate either, they wouldn't listen and told me I had to deal with the store. Was my first time at Ashley, and will never be back. Heres what went down. Purchased and chose to finance the remaining balance after my down payment, because the sales associate told me I could get 0% for 12 months and he could run it in a way so it didn't touch my credit. Im anal about my score, and he told me as long as I was approved, it was all done via the store. They told me to expect the financing paperwork in the mail.They had our address incorrect in the paperwork, I had caught that before leaving and they said they would fix it. So far so good. Had the couch delivered, still all is good. In the meanwhile, the sales associate started texting my husband and I. He obtained our numbers off the paperwork. He tried to sell us AdvoCare and when he couldn't get ahold of my husband he tried to get ahold of me. I at the time also told him we still had not received the paperwork, and I didn't want to miss a payment bc of it. He told me not to worry, and it could take 40days. Mind you this is all documented in txt messages. It's after the 40 days, I txt him again and tell him I still have not received the paperwork and if he can look into it because I saw a charge on my bank statement and didn't know if it was for the couch. Still at this point no one ever told me how I was to pay, so I was starting to get irritated that they just charged it. He txt back yes that is for the couch and it's all good. I told him I still never received the paperwork. He then gives me a phone number to call to talk to the financing people to get the paperwork. I call the number and it has me input my info, this is when it tells me my remaining balance and it is twice the amount of what I owe. I was beyond livid, and after talking with this third party, they tell me I am leasing to own my couch. I had 90 days to pay in full, or I would get charged the extra money. This was never disclosed to us. I contact the store and ask for the store manager. The store manager did listen to me and they did tell me that none of that was supposed to happen and we were misinformed. That's kind of a big mistake. I also got charged sales tax twice. They did refund me that however I told the store manager I will never be back. And of course I'm going to go and tell other people about my experience because you should be aware in case it happens to you! We were waiting for the paperwork to come about the payment information this is why we didn't catch any of this until 2 months later when I called. Had we known that we wouldn't be leasing a couch I would have taken my money elsewhere. I don't want to rent to own a couch. I walked out of there with the impression that I had bought a couch and was going to be making payments on it. However we were misled. Either have cash to pay for it upfront or make sure they don't do a number on you like they did us.

Coming to take couch to shop to figure out issue but we had to pay for pick up at our home which we should have too cause under warranty .
Description of Work: Warranty and service department are horrible to deal with . Bran new furniture and they can't figure out what's wrong with it and refuse to replace the piece

We purchased a $250 guarantee with them. The leather where your back is started to peel. They told me that the year warranty was up but the extra warranty that we purchased was still good. They said when we make a report, they will only repair it if it was an accident but not ware and tear. They told me that my claim was not under the warranty. I had to call Ashley Furniture many times, which was hard to get anyone to talk to me. They finally told me to bring in the love seat. They had it for two months. Finally they called and said it was done. They said that it was painted leather. Once I got the seat back, the same thing started to happen again only much worst..
Description of Work: We bought a couch and love seat. The material was 100% leather where the body touches.

the furniture did not arrive on time. The computer desk was broken right out the box. It took 8 weeks to fix the drawer to the desk and the they couldn't fix the desk and they order another. The customer service for their repair is awful, and the sales customer service is no better. I will not be purchasing anything else from them. They no longer care once they have your money. The manager Doug has no skills what so ever. Also, the owner of Ashley furniture also owns Klopenstein on Lima Rd. Please beware..

I appreciate helpful salespeople who are dedicated to their customers. I gave her much appreciation for going beyond the call of duty.
Description of Work: I stopped into our local Ashley Furniture store to check out the clearance items they have in their back room. I found the perfect end table I was looking for to put in my spare bedroom. The table was quite large, but I felt I could get it into my vehicle. The salesperson, Brenda Jones, was helpful in getting the sale rung up. She then offered to help me load the table in my vehicle after I pulled it around the back of the store. I thought it was very nice of her since she told me that she doesn't get commission on the clearance items! She went out of her way to assist me and with a friendly, cheerful attitude.
