It is okay, at best. For starters, when we signed our lease, we were told that we would have to wait a little longer than when we wanted to move in because they had to fix the fence, a broken window, and clean the house. When we moved in, none of that was done. When we looked through the house, a leak was discovered, and a smoke detector was dying as well as the water heater not working. I was told those would be taken care of that day. 3 days later, I finally changed the battery myself and it took almost a month for them to come out and fix the leak. The water heater, they did come out on the second day and re-lit the pilot light. When the hot water still did not work, they came out and replaced the water heater. Here is where the fun stuff starts. 1) they left the old water heater in the basement. It is still there. 2) I asked how to turn on the fireplace (which was advertised as a selling point for the house) and have yet to have an answer from Hubbard, though I did go to O'Malia's Outdoor Living ans was advised that it was not a running gas valve) 3)When they came out to "fix" the leak, they just spackled over the brown part inside, and took of the awning, throwing it into the yard and leaving it there. 4) When I first used the dishwasher, I complained that it made a strange grinding noise, and up until May that complaint went unnoticed. At that point it was replaced 5) In May, the kitchen sink clogged, backing up water from the dishwasher and pouring it out onto the floor, which ultimately dripped all the way down to the basement, causing a 10' puddle. This occurred on a Friday evening, and though I called the emergency maintenance number 8 times over the weekend, it took until Sunday night to get someone to come out to actually look at it. The problem wasn't even fixed until Monday, which was a whole different fiasco because the maintenance man kept missing the appointment times, and not showing up when he was supposed to. 6)After all the water from the dishwasher, it ruined the laminate. Where the boards meet the now are warped so that each seam is raised and is not comfortable to walk on. This has happened over almost half of the kitchen from the water damage. They also have done nothing about the fact that the water dripped through the floor into the basement for 4 days. 7) When it started getting hot, we turned on our A/C only to find that it did not work. We submitted a service ticket and they came out and replaced the furnace filter. After 3 days of it still not working, I submitted another. I was then written an email where I was notified that our house did not have central air - which is something we were shown specifically by the realtor when we looked at the house. 8) We had a storm recently that knocked the phone/cable lines off the house (because of an overgrown tree). I called to find out what they needed to get the tree trimmed (and the rest of the trees by the power lines, as we were advised by IPL) only to get no response. I have now called three days in a row and sent an email and have not gotten any response whatsoever regarding the tree. As of right now, I still can't use the fireplace, don't have central air, and have not been contacted about fixing the flooring or the tree situation. Had the information about the fireplace & central air been correct in the ad, we probably would not have rented from them. If we had, with all the other issues and now the lack of communication, I would not rent from this company ever again.
