First, the cost of service per month is insane. I repeatedly called to tell Comcast that ATT/DIsh/DirectTV were ALL offering lower cost services for the same product. Only AFTER complaining do I get a better price --- and it is always ONLY adjusted for 3 months. So, 3 months later I have the EXACT same conversation. The fact is - these guys bank on all of us either forgetting the billing or just gritting our teeth and taking it. That's NOT good. Second, I purchased my own Cable Modem from Best Buy and returned their EXPENSIVE ($8 a month rental for a $80 unit) modem they provided me for free when I installed. However, they seemed to FORGET that I returned the modem AFTER they began charging me for it.... The fact is - these guys hoped I wouldn't track my billing - and kept charging me for a modem I had RETURNED. Third, why is it when there is an outage I NEVER get any credit applied to the account? I can call and report an outage. Comcast can acknowledge a system failure. Then NOTHING. Well, if you are NOT providing a service - because something is wrong on your end - then DON'T charge me!!! The fact is - these guys are crooks. That's why I'm cancelling my service - putting in a TV antenna, and getting streaming video through ROKU (one time only charge of $79 for the streaming box). Then, I only pay for movies and shows I want at a MUCH LOWER COST. Instead of spending $1,200 a year - I will spend $79 once, and a monthly fee of about $8.00 to watch TV and Movies via Netflix - right on my TV --- and FREE Local TV Channels. Forget Comcast/Insight. Their days are numbered.

The cable box is cutting out on me, and it has a really small storage amount on the DVR compared with some other people I know with the same box. I am only using the service because it is free through my apartment complex.

Lousy experience from the start. The installation tech showed up days, not hours, late. When I cancelled the service upon moving, I experienced connectivity problems with my computer. The company billed me for two extra months and has not shown any inclination to live up to the statements that were made by their phone service specialist, who told me that service would end on the date requested and an adjusted bill would be sent to me. To top this off, Comcast is now charging me for the cost of a phone modem that they say I didn't return ($80). When I dropped off the equipment in early December, the customer service line at 2540 S. Henderson was out the door, so I left the equipment in the dropbox. My mistake, as I was informed by the same service center just days ago that I should have requested a receipt for the equipment. Generally poor customer service overall. Long waits at the service center. 800 number calls leading to nowhere, just a big run-around. Definitely steer clear of this outfit.
